Kenzie POV
Charlotte stared at the colors Jack's skin was turning to, then asked confusingly, "Is he... okay...?". "Um..Me and kenzie gotta go to the bathroom" jack said quickly before he grabbed my arm and pulled me out of the lunch room and to the bathroom. Once we got into the bathroom, jack started to freak out a bit, "K-kenzie! I don't know what's happening to me!" He said. "Ok, calm down jack. Mark just offered you something." I said. "THAT'S THE PROBLEM!!! Everytime I'm around him, I feel heart beat faster and my faces feels like its burning and I don't know what to do!" Jack said. "Jack, calm down." I said softly. Jack sighed and calmed down a bit. I smiled, "good, now...by the way you said that about you and mark.. It sounds like you have a crush on him" I said. "I don't want to crush him" Jack said. "No, I mean..when you have a crush .. Its a burning desire to be with someone who you find very attractive and extremely special." I explained. Jack blushed and nodded. I sighed, "also, I'll explain to them why you change color ok?" I said. "Yeah... Thank you" jack said softly. I smiled and we talked for a bit more.

Charlottes POV
I was beyond stunned. His skin was... changing color! That couldn't be human... could it? No, I've never seen or heard of something like that in my entire life. Was it a skin disease? I shook my head. No. That wouldn't make sense either. Now that Kenzie and Jack were in the bathroom, I decided to ask Mark his opinion. "What do you think that was all about?". Mark shrugged, "maybe he got embarrassed" he said.  "I mean, yeah," I shrugged. "But... I don't want to talk about other people behind their back, but didn't you notice his skin... changing? It was like all different shades of red." "Yeah, but maybe he is sick or something" mark said.  "I guess..." Not. Something must've been up. But I decided not to push the discussion anymore, so I just gnawed on an apple mindlessly, waiting for Kenzie and Jack to come back. Soon kenzie and jack came back, "hey, sorry for leaving, jack was just embarrassed that mark was nice enough to give him food" kenzie explained and sat down next to me. Jack nodded and sat next to mark and kenzie. Mark smiled and gave jack the food he offered Jack. Jack smiled, "t-thank you" he said as he took a bite of his food. "You're welcome" mark said smiling.   I acted casual. "Oh, that's alright. Nothing too bad.". Kenzie smiled and nodded, "so did you and Mark have fun while we were gone?" Kenzie joked. "Nah, just hangin' out," was my reply, and I glanced at Jack. "What did you two do in there?". "Talked" kenzie said simply. Mark and jack were talking and when mark playfully ruffled jacks hair. Kenzies eyes widen and she quickly fixed jacks hair.  I didn't notice the panic Kenzie was feeling. "What about? You don't have to tell me if you don't want to.".  "Stuff" kenzie said. I looked at jack and mark who were talking, I noticed something purple in jacks mouth. I know he is eating but I know for a fact that mark didn't give Jack anything purple.
