This is a lot different to my usual style but I did have fun with it and it gave me the opportunity to delve more into my own colourings and techniques which is something I am trying to reflect on more rather than just slapping a PSD on top.

I was rather excited about this request because not only is this a remake of an old cover I have done before (titled 'A War of Queen and Pawns' back then) but this is also a Watty's shortlist feature. I kind of knew where I was going with this cover and, for once, the end product was satisfyingly similar to what I had in mind.

It's been a long time since I did a more teen-style cover and although it didn't turn out how I expected, this cover was once again another experimentation with colourings which I think worked out well.

Unnamed Sci-Fi Story by Olga Godim

Basically, this is a photomanipulation because the requester for this story still has it in the early stages of planning. But I haven't done a photomanipulation before in a very long time so I took up the chance to play around with my blending techniques. Overall, I like what came out of it.

I was excited about this request because not only is it for another Watty's longlist feature, but it also allowed me to open up a bit of creativity which was the main reason for the hold up with this batch because I couldn't make up my mind! Overall I am happy with how it turned out despite it being far away from what I set out to design this morning!
