Chapter 28: Angels speak when demons drown

      "I heard that Jeon took an overdose, which is why he was taken to the hospital. I wonder if it is true."

"There is talk that he drugged before as well, and even more, he was at the edge to die several times.  So yeah, I can bet it is."

"That's why he started again, a drug addict always remains a drug addict. Such people find it difficult to change."

"That weirdo is a drug addict as well, what a match. He came here just so we can have some free fun."

      "If you don't want to visit the hospital, I suggest you stop talking. Especially about this subject, especially about Jungkook." Taehyung's thick voice interrupts the whispers of the boys without T-shirts, while they share some glances.

     Jimin looks at him with a faint smirk, as the situation makes him somehow amused. He likes to see how his best friend cares about someone other than himself, and even more protecting them. Especially now that Jungkook is under attack from many quarters.

     "Why, Taehyung? It's not like we told a lie. Or it's not true that he got to the hospital because of drugs? " one of the boys asks again, looking at the bandanna-boy in a superior way, while Taehyung takes a deep breath, trying to calm down.

    Two days. It's been two days since Jungkook was discharged from the hospital and four days since the two are together. And as soon as the tattooed boy arrived at the university, whispers began to circulate throughout the institution. Not whispers about the two's closeness (it's not known yet), but gossip about Jungkook's hospitalization and that he's a drug addict. And even though Taehyung and Jimin tried to keep Jungkook away from these gossips, the younger boy found out anyway. And as usual, he started pretending that he doesn't mind, and that everything is fine.

      And that saddens the bandanna-boy quite a bit. He thought that once they were together, Jungkook would begin to have more confidence in him, to tell him how he trully feels. But no, he's still the same guy trying to keep everything to himself. And yes, he knows it takes time, after all they've only been together for a few days. But it still bothers him.

     "Leo, you have no idea what really happened, none of you have. So, I repeat: stop the gossip if you don't want to be beaten by your own captain. " Taehyung comments in the same demand tone, as the blond haired-boy next to him, seems more serious, annoyed as well, by all those ugly words. 

     The boys in front of them just start laughing and rolling their eyes, looking at the bandanna-boy in an amused glance. 

      "What really happened to Kim Taehyung? Did he end up threatening his own team because of a garbage he had only known for a few months? Has he really become so important to you? He's just your roommate! "

       "How... how what did you call him? " Taehyung asks in a damn low tone, clenching his fists, extremely angry, and Jimin already seems ready to stop him from jumping into a fight.

       "What? A drug addict, plus someone who behaves like an idiot. It's even worse than garbage, and this is the true." Leo continues to annoy him, and just before Taehyung approaches him to punch him a few times, Jungkook appears behind them, wearing a face of indifference again.

       "Kook? What you're looking here? You should rest in your room. " the boy with the bandanna whispers to his boyfriend, while the younger boy only continues to look at those who spoke ill of him a few minutes ago.

      "Yeah, I know I'm an garbage, you just pointed out something true." Jungkook starts talking while his lover just looks at him bitterly. "I notice that you are extremely interested in what happened to me, but not out of concern, but because you just want a new subject to gossip about like old women." he comments after in an plate tone, and Taehyung subtly touches his right elbow.

      "Jungkook, stop, you don't owe them any explanation. " the boy with the bandanna says and looks at the idiots in front of him with contempt.

      "I know, but the sooner I tell them the truth, the sooner they'll finish gossiping, right? " the boy with the tattoos asks sarcastically. "You were right, I got to the hospital because of an overdose. I was a drug addict and somehow managed to stop for a while, but I drugged again, because of some personal reasons. And, yes, I realize I was a dick with you all, so I am sorry for that." he finishes what he has to say, while Taehyung and Jimin look at him sadly, and the boys in front of them start to feel guilty.

      Leo straightens his voice, then looks at the boys to his right, and tries not to show how stupid he really feels. He exaggerated and he knows that.

     "We are-"

      "You were right about almost everything. " Jungkook cuts off Leo's reply, then looks at Taehyung briefly, smiling subtly. "I'm not just his roommate, I am his boyfriend too."

     Both the boys in front of him and his lover remain speechless upon hearing this information. The two next to him are probably damn surprised, because Jungkook was the one which wanted to keep this as a secret. He didn't want to be found out that fast, but probably any time is fine?

       "You kidding, right?" Leo then asks in a somewhat amused tone, and this time, Taehyung is the one who gives him the an answer.

       "I think you have another topic that you need to gossip about from now on. " he says and then wraps his right hand around the tattooed boy's slender waist, and Jungkook tries to remain as expressionless as before. "Let's go, Kook. It's not worth it." he continues as he looks at the boys in front of him in a not very friendly way again, and then all three of them turn around, leaving for the exit at the locker room.

       And yeah, we can say this subject is even more interesting that the other one.

       "Talk with me, Jungkook. Please." Taehyung says again, kneeling in front of his boyfriend, while the younger boy just keeps looking at him lost, as other tears appear.

      After returning from the locker room, Taehyung went for a shower, feeling more than happy because Jungkook had decided to make their relationship public. However, his happiness did not last long, because when he came out of the bathroom, he saw his boyfriend crying silently, sitting in a corner of the room. The fact that his heart got broken into thousands of pieces at the vulnerable sight of his boyfriend, it is already understood.

      "Ta... Tae." Jungkook whispers his name as if his life is hanging on to it, and the other one just touches his face carefully with his hands, wiping away the tears.

      "Yes, love, tell me. Tell me what happened." the older boy begs him in an extremely careful tone, and the other begins to cry even louder.

      If it weren't for the seriousness of the situation, Jungkook would have probably blushed a lot because of the nickname. But no, at this point the tattooed boy is just trying not to forget to breathe because of the pain. Because yes, he is in pain. His chest, hands, head, legs hurt. His heart, brain and whole body hurt. He feels numb, and can swears he trembles like crazy. And he knows why.

      "I... I wan... I need-"

    Jungkook's stammering scares the boy in front of him even more, who in turn begins to tremble when he sees him in this state. He can't even call an ambulance, considering that Jungkook's and how own phone are in Jimin's room. Before returning to their room, they went to Jimin's, and there they both forgot their phones like two fools. And damn it, how much he needed now!

     "What do you need, baby? Tell... tell me!" the older boy begins to panic, and the younger one just continues to have trouble breathing, while other tears continue to fall on his face.

     "Dru... drugs! I... I need drugs, Tae!" Jungkook raises his voice unintentionally, because of the pain, and the other one just looks at him confused and damn worried.

     "What did you-"

      "Pl- Please, Tae! I... I need them!" the younger one cuts the other's one reply, as Taehyung just shakes his head in disapproval, because in none case, he will give to Jungkook that poison.

      Yeah, he know what is happening right now. He read a few days ago about those reactions of drug addicts. He read about how painful it can be when these people try to stop using drugs all of a sudden. The article said that it is as if someone is burning them alive inside, and stabbing them at the same time. Such pain lasts on average between ten and fifteen minutes for a similar episode, so that later, those who suffer, vomit immediately. 

      So, yes, the situation is serious as fuck. But in no case can Taehyung let Jungkook give up and use the drugs again. Even if he feels himself drowning in pain, seeing the younger boy fighting like this, he can't give up.

      "Kook, I... I can not give you drugs, but I will stay with you until the pain is over." the older one comments, as he slowly and carefully embraces Jungkook, and the younger one hides his head at the older one's chest, beginning to cry even louder.

      He hates those moments. It's not the first time he's feels this way, and damn it, he'd do anything to get right now, one injection! But he can't, because he knows that in this way his addiction will become as strong as before. And now he really can't be as weak as before. Because now he has Taehyung. And in no case can he give up, at least for his lover's sake. Taehyung doesn't deserve to have a drugged boyfriend. In fact, he doesn't deserve to have a boyfriend as destroyed as Jungkook at all. But at least the younger boy can fight one of his demons.

      "T... Tell me any... anything." the tattooed boy whispers through tears as he still hides his head on the older boy's bare chest (he only had time to take on a pair of shorts).

      Taehyung immediately understands that the other one is asking him to distract him with words, and then he begins to caress the younger boy's back carefully.

       "Do you know when I realized I loved you? " Taehyung asks, and the other boy begins to breathe a little more normally.

      "Wh... when?" Jungkook manages to asks at his turn, and then he feels the older one gently kiss his head.

     Good thing he bathed his hair a few hours ago. And yeah, he is in this state, and still have those thoughts. 

      "When I wasn't waiting anymore to get to the room, to rest or have fun in bed with strangers, but because I wanted to see your pretty face." the bandanna-boy starts talking, and the younger one feels the need to smile despite of the pain. "When I started looking for your beautiful eyes in the canteen, at training, at classes. When I started to smile without realizing it, every time I heard your voice. " he continues, and Jungkook begins to adjust his breath and slowly stop his crying.

     And Taehyung immediately notices that his boyfriend is slowly starting to recover, then raises his head carefully, and kisses his forehead. This gesture seems to calm Jungkook even more.

     "Thank you. For... being here." Jungkook manages to whisper afterwards, feeling the fatigue quickly envelop him, forcing him to close his eyes slowly.

      "I will always be here, Kook. For you, with you."

I am kinda sick so probably this is why I wrote over 4k today:)

This chapter was not really so necessary, but yeah, I wrote what I had in my mind
