"So you and Y/N have known each other since your first year of primary school?" I inquired, as me and Yeonjun sat in the company's cafe.
He nodded, as he took a sip at his ice coffee, bought as courtesy from me.
I could feel eyes on me from the windows as I shifted awkwardly in my seat.
The trainee in front of me sighed, glancing to me.
"How come you're so interested about her? I mean you barely know her." Yeonjun inquired.
I shrugged, before leaning forward.
"I feel getting to know her through you let's me know you better. But continue the story. Who's the guy she's with?" I asked, hoping he would get off my back.
"It's my best friend Soobin. He knows how I feel about her. Or I thought he did. Saying he kissed her though..." Yeonjun trailed off, and I couldn't miss the flash of pain on his face.
"If it makes you feel any better, Yeonjun, they're probably a one time thing. If she doesn't know the guy that well she might come back to you. Also, as her best friend she'll ask you for advice." I started, as he lifted his head up, eyes on mine instead of on the table.
"You could technically sabotage the relationship if you wished."
Yeonjun shook his head with a small smile.
"I can't do that. But if he hurts her I'll punch him."
"Your anger is fairly placed." I said, looking down at my own coffee.
Is that why Yeonjun gave her my account instead of Soobin's?
"But enough about you and Y/N. Let's talk about you, hm?" I said, as Yeonjun nodded, slumping back in his seat.
"Well there isn't much to talk about."
"I mean what do you want to do. I know you want to be an idol, at least that much, but you do know you'll have to cut Y/N out of your life if you become one." I said, sighing myself at the circumstances.
For at least the first two years he wouldn't be allowed to see her, because she was a girl.
Unless she was an idol, and even then, it would look like they were dating.
"I know, I know. I'm aware of that." Yeonjun sighed. "It's just been my dream since I was little. Y/N is very supportive. I keep telling them they should audition too but they refuse, like they've got such a beautiful singing voice. She used to sing your songs all the time, but hey, she's the one wasting her talent I suppose. Look do you want to see a video of her singing? I mean can't you get her scouted or something? I just want her to try." Yeonjun rambled, as he sent a video to my official Instagram, as I opened it up.

I clicked play, putting my phone up to my ears.
It was Y/N singing my newest song, 'Anti-romantic'.
Her voice was amazing.
"Well, you weren't lying. I can try get her scouted if you really wanted." I said with a small smile.
"Please do, training is so lonely." Yeonjun grumbled.
"Aren't you and Taehyun friends?"
"He's always up to something." Yeonjun said, rolling his eyes.
"Well, I will show this to the company whilst you ask Y/N if she wishes to audition." I said, before checking the time on my phone.
"It's been nice getting to know you, Yeonjun, but I've got to go." I said with a smile.
Yeonjun nodded, smiling back.
"Nice to have a normal conversation with you too, Gyu."
"The nickname is a little far, but I'm going to let it slide."
With that I walked off, and as soon as I stepped out the building, I was swarmed by people.
That was always the part I hated about being an idol.
The bad side of the fandom.
Pulling my hood up and keeping my head down, I rushed out to the car, as my manager drove me away.
"You were almost late Beomgyu. I told you to come early for the shoot." My manager half yelled.
"I'm sorry. It won't happen again." I said, locking my eyes to my phone.
I know she was on a date, but I was bored.
