"Hey. Look I'm going to tell you something and you can't say anything until I'm done. Alright?"

"Ok...? This is a little suspicious. Are you going to be an idiot right now?"

"Well I had this giant speech planned out and you were going to love it. But I'm just going to say. I like you. A lot. Could I tell you when I started liking you? Probably not. It was such a gradual thing, but it happened. I know that I'm an idiot and you'll always sass me, but it's part of the reason why I like you so much. You're funny and smart and sarcastic and you make me think. You seem to be immune to my charm which I have yet to figure out how, but it's nice. I feel like I can act like myself around you and you won't judge because you're just as crazy as me. And I know I'm not the rich guy your parents want you with, but I'm pretty sure I could win them over. And before you mention the distance, I already have that figured out. You are talking to a future student of Oxford University, full-ride scholarship and everything. So here's what I'm thinking: you want to travel? Then maybe I can tag along. Travel is lonely if you don't have someone to share the experiences with. So I guess I'm asking do you want to see the world with me?"

"So you're telling me that you just came up with that speech on the spot because you decided not to do the other one?"

"Uh yes?"

"You're an idiot, but you're my idiot. I won't make a whole speech about it unlike a certain someone, but I'd love to see the world with you."

"Oh thank god. That was terrifying."

"Are you saying that I'm scary?"

"Yes. You petrify me."

"Huh. I was expecting a sarcastic reply."

"Nope. Sometimes you have to be a vulnerable idiot."

"Lucky you, you excel at being an idiot."

"Lucky me, you like this idiot."

"That I do. I guess now would be a good time to tell you that my flight was booked to land in California."

"Wait. Really?"

"Yeah. I was planning on surprising you, but now is a good time as any."

"You never cease to surprise me."

"Well that's good because let's try not to be a boring couple."

"As long as we don't start a war then I'm all in."

"I make no promises."

"Sorry world, but I'd follow her anywhere."

"Then it's a good thing I plan on staying by your side."

"Promise?"
