She was sitting in the common area with the rest of the Avengers. Spiderman was crushing everyone at Mario Kart, and Sora was throwing knives at a wall, teleporting them back just before they hit. Her accuracy had improved, but there were still roughly three hundred knife holes. Her silver blade was the only blade not thrown.
"Sir, Point Break and his brother have arrived." Fri announces, as the elevator door opens with a ding.
"Wait, his brother? As in, Loki? The one who tried to destroy New York?" Mr. Barton asks. Sora teleports next to the Spider, the knives used on the wall in her back knife-holders, while h-Ms Romanoff's dagger lay in her hands, alert and ready. When the gods arrived, Sora noticed, above the shouting, that Loki had power restrictors. Spiderman climbs for a place on the ceiling, and makes himself part of the conversation. "Can we please listen to what Mr. Thor wanted to say?" Sora attaches herself onto the ceiling with her new Sora gauntlet, and gets comfy.
"My brother was under the influence of Thanos' mind control. It was not his fault." Sora shifted to gain use of her gauntlet, as a bow was pulled on Loki.
Shwoop!
The bow was taken up, and Hawkeye was webbed. "Do you mind, I dunno, not killing Mr. Laufreyson?" Sora asked. Loki snapped his head up to her.
"How do you know of that name?"
"I love norse mythology. So on the task at hand, J, switch to paralyse 4." A gear clicked, and Sora aimed for no-one in particular. Mr. Stark called his suit, and she shot him, feeling bad after. He fell back, into Cornel Rhodes, who held him up. "J drop to 2." She mumbled, as she shot Laufreyson, and dragged him to his room.
She visited him late into the night.
"I'll never work for you."
"We'll see." It went black from there. I'd been knocked out. I was broken down with layers and layers of torture which was followed, finally, by a way of memory wiping.
I was made to hold onto the bar. I didn't know what it was for, but I knew better than to disobey them. Electricity coursed throughout my body like a lightning rod, shoving my memories deep down. That wasn enough for them. They'd given him synthetic memory, what he could believe, but what motivated him to destroy. He'd killed so, so many people on some stupid—
"-ves."
"Knives?"
"Gods-damnit Laufreyson! You can do whatever this is later!" I jolted awake to the new girl, the one who defended me, then shot me, trying to wake me up.
"What?" I asked, putting on a 'I don't care, I'm a god' face.
"Enough with the 'I'm so tough' thing. I can see right through it. The Avengers are children and I felt bad, okay? I got you poptarts." Why? Why would she care? I sat up just slightly more than I had. She passed me a plate of poptarts, and kept one for herself. How she would eat them with that scary mask on, I may never know.
We sat there, on the floor of my 'room' for a while, silently eating the strangely good midgardian food. She introduced herself as Sora, someone who wished to hear my side of the story. She reminded me of my mother, who stayed in Asgard. "What does it really do? The power restrictors." She asked, for only a second revealing her feelings. A mix of worry, and confusion.
"If my powers... are an extension, or a removable limb, the power dampeners take them, and put them far away, in a box." I try to explain it. I've never needed to explain it. People have always believed someone else. Understood that I was the bad guy.
"That's not all, is it?" She asks, in a softer tone.
"My power generates energy. About half." I respond, feeling like I can open up, just a bit, with Sora. I look to the time, and I assume, she does too. 10:30.
"I have to go! See you later, Mr. Laufreyson!" She dashes out, leaving me in my astonishment. She called me Mr. Laufreyson. A formal Midgard term.
School. Peter should be meeting me at the corner of this street here, and there he is. "Wil! Hi." He calls.
"Hey." I respond.
"So, what you did was really badass. Mr. Barton was going insane about how you took his bow. And Paralysing Mr. Stark? So cool." I rub the back of my neck.
"Not that cool. I was determined to stay neutral."
"And now?" I hesitate.
"Loki needs someone on his team. His story is still a secret, but I know about the cruel power dampeners."

You idiot.
There is a character in one of my other books, who is the same age as Peter and Willow. I wanted to make some 'Bonus Chapters' that didn't change the original plot... but now I want to actually add her to the group. Should I do it?
