HA! I WAS RIGHT!
LET'S SEE WHO CAN GET THE MOST VOTES (THIS IS FOR A FUTURE CHAPTER)
Keith
Lance
Hunk
Allura
Pidge
(Yes, I purposely left Shiro out.)
Edit: he's GAY HUNNY
~
You were currently standing behind Keith in the Black Lion. Voltron was flying towards the spiral-hole of death.
"All right, let's take it slow. Pidge, any chance you can explain what I'm seeing right now?" Keith asked as Voltron stopped right near the bright hole.
"The Euclidian space around the ship is obviously some kind of anomaly. But the energy source doesn't originate from anything that registers with my understanding of how reality works," Pidge replied.
"I'll take that as a no," Keith replied, because much like you, he had no idea what she just said.
"I'll scan the ship for biorhythms," Hunk said, "That's strange. I'm not showing any signs of life on the ship."
"Maybe not on this half, but there is more to this ship than we are seeing. We need to go through there," Allura explained.
"The glowy, explode-y area?" Lance asked.
"Pidge, keep an eye on Voltron's vitals. Everyone, be prepared to abort if things get hairy," Keith ordered.
"Roger that. Ready to abort immediately," Hunk confirmed. It seemed he didn't really want to do this. Voltron slowly went closer to the bright light.
"Guys, my sensors are going crazy. Technically, we should be torn apart the same way the probe was. But somehow, Voltron is completely unaffected by the stress of the spatial distortion," Pidge said.
"Oh great," you said sarcastically. Voltron drew closer and closer to the blinding light, prompting you to close your eyes from the sheer intesity of it. The light dimmed down, allowing you to open your eyes.
"We must have crossed through, because that's the front of the ship," Pidge said, staring at it.
"Wait," Allura said, using her lion to turn Voltron around. "The back half of this ship, it's gone! Coran! Coran! We've lost sight of the castle. Coran, are you there?"
"Where did he go?"
"And where did that planet come from?" Lance asked. You looked around. Now you were 45% sure that your theory is correct.
"According to my sensors, we're still in exactly the same place we were before," Pidge said.
"Guys, this is gonna sound strange, but now I'm detecting multiple biorhthyms aboard the ship," Hunk informed.
"Alteans," Allura breathed.
"Well... it seems like we've only got one clue to help us figure out what's going on, and it's floating right over there," Lance said. Voltron dispersed, and the five lions made their way down to the top of the ship and stayed there. The Paladins all got out and walked across the roof of the ship. You followed suit. A hatch door opened and Allura was the first one to jump down, followed by everyone else. When you got to the bottom, it seemed as if the power was out. So there was no gravity. Allura turned on a flashlight from her armor.
"Hello? Is anyone here?" She called out, only for her voice to echo back at her. You looked behind you and slowly flew with them down the empty hall. Pidge activated her light as well and you six continued down the corridor. A door slid open with a hiss, revealing another empty hallway.
"Oh man. This place is totally freaking me out. Does it feel like a haunted ghost ship to anybody else? Is it just me?" Hunk spoke.
"I don't like this place either, but come on." You tapped his shoulder and followed the others down the hall. There was a larger room at the end of the hallway. Allura's light scanned over a pad. She turned it off and placed her hand on the scanner where it lit up around her hand and turned on the ship's lights. Gravity was restored and you all landed on the floor with other parts banging onto it.
"So, did the crew abandon ship?" Keith asked, looking around the empty ship. Yours and Lance's eyes fell to a suit that was sitting up against the wall.
"I don't know, but they couldn't have gotten far without their spacesu—AFSDIDFSJSJKSFHKJG THOSE AREN'T EMPTY!" Lance had walked up to the suit to remove the helmet, but a decayed skeleton was what greeted him underneath it. He had thrown the helmet to the ground in sheer panic.
"Oh my god!" You exclaimed, "That monocle is in such great condition!" Everyone groaned at your lack of concern. Allura turned and walked to the panel, and pressed a button. A shaky image appeared on the screen of a grey-haired man. He was also wearing a monocle.
"We located the second comet based on King Alfor's information. We managed to get it aboard, but it seems to be causing massive disturbances. We're heading back to Altea, but I don't know if we'll be able to make it that far. At this rate—HFBVURWUVFNIBN!!!!" A bright light at the corner of the screen appeared and completely engulfed the screaming man. Then the video turned off.
"What happened here?" Hunk asked.
"Something deadly," Lance replied, inspecting the skeleton. A small holographic screen appeared in front of Hunk.
"This still doesn't explain the biorhythms I picked up in this area," he said. The door to a ventilation system suddenly was kicked out and two beings dropped from the ceiling. They landed on the ground, weilding laser guns.
"Move!" You called instinctively. Ice shot out from your feet and coated the shorter one. Hunk body slammed into it and wrestled with it. The bigger one aimed their gun at Lance, but the top of their gun was sliced off by you. The day you let someone touch Lance is the day you die. You turned around and elbowed 'em in the face before turning to avoid their swinging leg. You grabbed it in between your arm and body, and lifted them high into the high.
"CHAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!" You yelled, slamming them into the ground so hard that they bounced off and rolled a few times before somehow recovering. They threw their broken gun at you which you dodged. They jumped into the air and a sword materialized on their wrist. Ice coated your hand in preparation to defend yourself, but the hook of Pidge's grapple hit 'em in the face so hard they were sent flying away from you all. The visor on their head was cracked before it fully broke away. All of them gasped at the Shiro look-a-like. Hunk stumbled back over to you guys after being whipped by the other thing's tail. The Shiro look a like got rid of his sword and picked up the working gun and pointed it at you.
"No way... Shiro?" Hunk asked, his eyes wide. It looked like they were going to pop out of his sockets.
"How...?" Keith added.
"Stay back!" The Shiro look a like warned. Your eyes popped out of your skull.
'Okay, how in the hell do they think that's Shiro?' You thought.
Ja ne!
