Chapter 2: Welcome to Amity Park
A/N: Wow... I am honestly surprised at how much attention this story got so quickly! *blushes* Now, I have a very special person for you all to meet
*knock on door*
Me: Oh! And here she is now! *opens door* Everyone meet Sparks!
Sparks: Hello! Now I would like to introduce my friend, Blitz!
*Blitz enters*
Blitz: Hi-ya!
Me: Wait, what's she doing here?
Sparks: Replacing you
Me: Oh of course. Wait what?!
*I am pushed out the door and it's locked behind me*
Blitz: Much better. Now we're in control
Sparks: Yep, let the fourth wall breaks begin!
Me: *banging on door* LET ME IN YOU PSYCHOS!
Third Person POV
In a burst of light, the Pine's family and their friends fell out of the sky and landed in a grassy area. They groaned and sat up, while trying to ignore the dizziness in their heads. "Ugh, where the heck are we?" Stan asked, rubbing his forehead.
Sparks: IN A STORY!
Blitz: Hey you can't tell them that!
Sparks: They can't hear us anyways
Blitz: Oh yeah
Ford looked at his small machine, "According to this, we're in Dimension Earth-GZ1."
Sparks: NERD!
The older scientist took in their surroundings. They appeared to be in some sort of park, and the season seemed to be mid-Spring. Birds were singing and the distant sounds of people talking could be heard. Dipper was the next to speak, "Okay, so we've discovered that thing works and gone to another dimension. Can we go home now?"
Ford chuckled nervously. Everyone immediately turned their attention to him, ignoring the small headaches the sudden movement caused. "Sixer?" Stan questioned.
Ford ran a hand through his gray hair, "The Inter-Dimensional Transporter requires a period of recharging before it can create a return portal."
Blitz: How convenient
Five pairs of eyes widened. "WHAT?!" they all screamed in unison, causing Ford to shrink back slightly.
"How long will it take to recharge?" Wendy asked.
Ford shrugged, "A few days, a week maybe?" Jaws dropped.
"Grunkle Ford! Isn't there anything you can do to make it charge faster?" Mabel asked, "I haven't even seen Candy and Grenda yet!"
The older man shook his head, "Not unless one of you has a spare Osmonium battery on you." Everyone sent confused looks Ford's way. "I thought not," he stated, standing up.
Sparks: Whoa, Sixer is sassy.
Blitz: Who knew?
"Um, Sixer? What are you doing?" Stan asked.
Ford brushed himself off, sticking the small black rectangle in his coat's pocket, "Well, since we appear to be stuck here, why not explore?" The older man began to walk away and he heard the others scramble to their feet.
"Um, Mr.Pines? I don't think that's such a good idea," Soos said, "We don't even know what this place is."
"All the more reason to explore it!" Ford replied cheerfully, not breaking his stride.
Sparks: We're right behind you Fordsy!
Blitz: *holding suitcases* I already packed my bags!
Stan ran to catch up with his brother, grabbing his shoulder, "Hold up a sec Ford, let's talk about thi-" A sudden explosion, not far from where the group stood cut Stan off. Sounds of struggle and shouts could be heard. After a moment, the group rushed off towards the sound of the struggle.
Sparks: Of course, there is no possible way this could end badly.
The Pines family and their friends, emerged from a group of trees to see a flying white haired teen wearing a skin tight black and white HAZMAT suit with a strange D symbol on his chest, battling a flaming green haired flying... robot?
Sparks: FORGET WHAT I SAID! DANNY!!!!!
Blitz: *rolls eyes* Who else would it be? A different white haired ghost boy?
Sparks: No need to be rude!
The robot fired missiles and knives at the flying teen, all of which he easily avoided. The teen returned fire with glowing green energy rays that he shot out of his hand. The robot nimbly avoided the blasts, until one struck him in the chest and he crashed into the ground, not far from where the Pines and their friends stood. The robot shot 3 nets at the white haired teen, none of which got anywhere close to the boy. "You may call yourself the Ghost Zone's Greatest Hunter, but you're the World's Lousiest Shot Skulker!" the teen shouted.
The robot, or now known as Skulker, shouted back, "Merely practice shots Ghost Child. Your pelt will be mine!"
Sparks: He's been saying that for like... 3 seasons. You'd think he'd learn by now.
Blitz: Can you blame him? Under all that mech he's just a little green blob. Danny is all he's got (probably).
Sparks: You do have a point.
"What the heck is going on!? What are those... people?" Wendy whispered hurriedly. Everyone turned to Ford, who began to flush and sweat.
"H-how would I know?" he said, raising his arms in defeat. The fight between Skulker and the... ghost boy continued while the Pines and their friends watched from the safety of the trees.
Sparks: Oh yeah, totally safe. If an ectoblast heads their way the magical tree army will save them.
Blitz: Sparks c'mon, quit ruining the story.
Spark: I'm not! I'm just stating the facts!
Skulker fired another net at the ghost boy, which he once again swiftly dodged. After firing another green ray of energy at Skulker, knocking him off balance, the floating teen pulled out a strange looking thermos. "Now what's he doing? Offering the guy a hot beverage?" Stan mocked. He began to chuckle at his own joke, until the teen uncapped the lid of the thermos and a blue beam of energy shot out, dragging Skulker inside. "Never mind," Stan whispered.
Ford, unable to control his excitement, walked out of their hiding place and straight over to the floating teen. "I must say, that was some impressive fighting. May I ask where you got that interesting device?"
The teen jumped at the sound of Ford's voice and looked down at him. "Um... were you here the whole time?" Ford nodded, and the rest of the group emerged from their hiding spot. The teen's eyes widened at the large group of people that had apparently been watching him battle Skulker. "You guys are lucky you didn't get hurt! Why didn't you run away?" he asked.
Stan titled his head, "Were we supposed too?"
Sparks: Um let's see. In a weird dimension where there's a strange boy fighting a strange robot while he's shouting about taking said boy's 'pelt'. Seems like a few reasons to run.
Blitz: Would you run if you got a chance to see Danny in action?
Sparks: *glares at Blitz* That's not the point.
Blitz: *smirks* I rest my case.
The teen attached the thermos to his belt, "Uh, yeah? This is Amity Park, the most haunted place on Earth. Popular for it's ghost attacks and local vigilante Danny Phantom." The teen puffed out his chest with pride.
"Who's Danny Phantom?" Dipper asked.
Blitz: Ooo, ouch. That's gotta hurt.
The teen's chest deflated, "I am. Don't you recognize me?" He flew around in the air. When that didn't gain a response he pointed at the logo on his chest. Still nothing. "Really?" Danny questioned.
Dipper shrugged, "We're not... from around here, exactly." The group nodded in agreement.
Danny titled his head at the group, "Where exactly are you guys from then? I know for sure now that you aren't from Amity Park, or anywhere close to here."
Mabel piped up. "We're from another dimension!" she said cheerfully.
Danny raised an eyebrow at the girl, "Uh-huh, and I'm King of the Ghost Zone. Now really, where are you from?"
Mabel frowned, "I told you, we're from another dimension. My Grunkle Ford here built a dimensional transporter thingy and before you know it, BAM! We're here."
Danny shook his head, "Forget I asked. Well, I hope you guys enjoy Amity Park. Stay away from abandoned areas and don't forget to vote against our mayor!" With that, the ghost boy flew off.
"Well that was.... odd," Wendy commented.
Ford nodded, "It seems there's a lot more to this dimension than I originally thought." He turned to the group, "This settles it. While we're in Dimension Earth-GZ1, we are going to figure out the mystery behind this ghost boy!"
Dipper's eyes lit up in excitement at the mention of a mystery, as did Mabel's and Soos'. Wendy grinned and Stan dragged his hand down his face. "It had to be a dimensional transporter," he muttered.
Blitz: Looks like the Pines and their friends got a mystery on their hands!
Sparks: Did you just-
*I break down the door*
Me: DON'T EVER DO THAT AGAIN!
*Blitz and Sparks take a step away from me as I turn to the readers*
Me: So I hope you all enjoyed that chapter! Please let me know your thoughts on whether or not you'd like Blitz and Sparks to stick around, or even appear in more stories *glares at them* despite their earlier actions.
*They chuckle nervously*
Me: See you all in the next one!
