Neil hummed to himself as he unlocked the dorm room. He had in his earbuds and almost didn't hear when Harrison greeted him. "Hey babe."
"Hey, hon," he replied, setting his bag down. He made his way over to his magical boyfriend and laid down beside him on the bed. He felt a kiss being pressed to his cheek and smiled. Suddenly, his phone went off, interrupting the song. Rolling his eyes, he checked it.
Max: dude I'm sososososoSO sorry for what you're about to go through
Neil: ...What?
Max: I lost a bet, you'll find out soon enough
Another message came in and he cautiously went to it.
???: Hey Neilllll
Neil: Um, who's this?
???: You Don't Know??
???: It's Tabii!!
Neil: Oh my god...
Neil: Max warned me something like this would happen.
Tabii: Really? Wow
Tabii: You Guys Must Be REALLY Good Friends...
Neil: Um, no shit?
Tabii: Hey, Are You Free Later?
Neil: No, I have work.
Tabii: Aw, Bummerrrrr
Tabii: Think We Could, Maybe...
Tabii: Catch Up Later?
Neil: Maybe...
"If it'll get you to shut up, yes," he muttered under his breath. He heard shuffling beside him. "What?"
The brunet glanced over at the confused male. "Apparently, Max lost a bet and had to give Tabii my number."
He tensed up. "Please tell me it's a different Tabii."
"I don't think so." Neil let out an irritated sigh as another text came in. He unplugged his earbuds and passed the phone to Harrison. "She wants to 'catch up' later."
The strawberry blond scrolled through the messages and handed the phone back. "I'm going with you."
"What?"
"I'm going with you," he growled, rolling over to face the scientist. "I don't want her to try anything."
He stifled a laugh and put his phone to the side. "Aw, are you worried about me?"
"In general, yes. In this situation, no." The illusionist reached over and laced their fingers together. "I'm more worried about whatever Tabii's planning."
"Whatever it is, I'm sure I can handle it on my own..." the teen said quietly. He moved closer to Harrison, trying to hide his blush.
The older chuckled. "You probably could." He rested his forehead against Neil's. "But I still want to be there if she tries anything."
"Why?"
"So I can hold you close and tell her that you're mine," he said calmly. He heard his lover snicker and pulled him closer.
"Ok, baby."
