After polls last night it's clear that Pro Hero Lemillion will continued to hold the Number 1 spot for another year, with heroes Dynamite and Shoto close behind in second and third. In fourth we have Tsukuyomi- a rather new change of pace, followed by heroes Red Riot, Phantom Thief, and Uravity also placing in the Top Ten.

Former UA instructor Izuku Midoriya has also reached the charts this year at an appaling speed, as well as opening his own agency that has been flooded with applications for sidekick positions and as it's looking, his popularity is only growing.

However on a more concerning note to the people of Japan, a spike in the crime rates has arisen and continues to waver with the years of peace the country has grown into. Head of the Hero Commission Keigo Takami, former Pro Hero Hawks, says that this change is being observed and will be handled as soon as more information is presented.

The last headline of the morning is by far one of the most shocking of the last year: Sekijiro Kan, as known as Blood Hero: Vald King, has announced his retirement as the teacher of Class 1-B at the prestigious UA Academy for heros. In an interview he was quoted saying," I've decided to hang up my suit at least for the time being and let someone else step in. It's been a while since I could just go be a normal human being and with all these young heroes running around nowadays, guys like me don't have to worry anymore. So, I decided to spend some time on a beach somewhere."

It isn't clear yet as to whom will be the new teacher, but there are rumors it is a Professor Len Matsumoto, someone we have yet to find much on. More investigation is underway but it is to be expected that whoever will be training this generation of heroes is in for a heady time, especially with the difficulty that this era of peace has brought to becoming a hero.

Thank you to anyone giving this the time of day, I have really wanted to do a MHA fic for a while and so I finally just said fuck it and wrote this. It's not necessarily a 'next gen' thing (I'll elaborate more on this later), though it will feature lots of Kōhei Horikoshi's original characters.

Which on that topic, any characters that don't originally belong to him are mine or the ones readers will submit (as I'm sure you assumed). Everything in this story takes place after the final My Hero novel with a few liberties taken by myself to add to the story.

Lastly, just a plain thanks to whoever decides to read and participate in this, it means the world to me.
