Epilogue
twelve years later
"Sirius!" Scorpius groaned. "Get back here right now."
The little boy ran off, not paying any attention to his father who was calling out for him and definitely living up to his name.
Albus laughed, watching the two. Scorpius was trying to get their youngest ready to go, but that obviously wasn't working out for him.
"Sirius, be good for your dad," Albus called, the boy stopping in his tracks.
"Okay daddy!" Sirius yelled and went to sit on the sofa to wait for his dad to tie his shoes.
Scorpius walked up to Albus and whispered in his ear, "Thanks daddy."
Unfortunately for him, that's exactly when their oldest child walked out of her room which they were standing right in front of.
"Ew, gross! Get a room." Andromeda spoke, grossed out but still with a smile placed on her face because she knew how much her dads loved each other.
The two adults laughed before they all moved to the sofa where Scorpius tied Sirius' shoes.
"Alright, let's get a move on!" Albus smiled, ready to send his daughter off to Hogwarts for the second time.
. . .
The family of four made their way through Platform 9¾ and into the station, going to meet up with the rest of their "family" who had arrived before them.
"Dylan!" Andromeda called out, running over to James and Ella's son. The two were best friends even with Dylan being a year younger.
"Hey Drom!" Dylan smiled, hugging the short girl. Even though Andromeda was older, Dylan was definitely a lot taller as he had inherited his fathers height.
The two said goodbye to their parents before making their way toward the train to find their cousin Samantha who had gotten there earlier to save a compartment for them all.
Scorpius and Albus watched their daughter get onto the train before turning to the others.
"See you at home?" Albus asked Lily.
"Of course, we'll be here just a bit longer. Want to say goodbye to Roxanne and Jake before we head off for our trip later today."
The two nodded before each taking hold of one of Sirius' hands and walking through Platform 9¾ again.
"Shall we go see grandpa Harry?" Albus asked the child, already knowing what the answer would be.
"Yes! Grampy Harry!" Sirius smiled in glee. He loved his grandpa as he would always get told stories of the man he was named after.
Once outside, Scorpius handed Sirius over to Albus who apparated with him to Godrics Hollow before following himself.
All was well
