"Why the fuck is she even in love with her best friend? He doesn't even see her like a woman! He dates other girls while being an insensitive jerk around her!" Jin blurts out in the middle of the movie. The three of them are watching Love, Rosie.

"Cut it out, hyung. The important thing is that she chose to raise the baby all by herself," Jimin spats back at him. Jin's nose scrunches as he pops a popcorn in his mouth.

Taehyung smiles at the scene in front of him and reminisces the first time he and Jeongguk considered themselves as best friends. Then he fell in love first, and fortunately, he didn't got rejected.

He snaps back to reality when he hears a message notification. He opens his phone and smiles upon reading the sender.

What movie are you watching?

He almost replied when three other messages popped up.

Practice is done for today. :(

Taehyung feels a pang inside his chest. He understands why Jeongguk is working hard but it still hurts him whenever the younger talks about being tired because it worries him. He is worried about his health so much.

Where are u?

He replies. He taps on the screen, impatiently waiting for another response from the younger.

Just arrived at the dorm and the members are already snoring 😒

Taehyung can't help but chuckle lightly. Jin and Jimin turn towards him and asks what's funny but he just shrugs and tells them to go back on watching the movie.

I'll meet you at 5 keep the door unlocked. 😘

He sends before standing up and grabbing his hoodie and coat from the rack.

"Where are you going? The movie's not over yet and it's already midnight," Jin says with a straight voice, eyeing the younger suspiciously.

Taehyung obviously know that lying is no use already so he decides to tell the older plus he doesn't want to commit the same mistake twice.

"Can I go to Jeongguk's dorm? He needs me," he says showing his adorable pout which makes Jimin roll his eyes and starts shifting his focus to the movie again.

"The poor thing must be tired. Okay but be sure to go back here before 3 okay? AND, let's visit them tomorrow at practice," Jin suggests which makes Taehyung and Jimin's ears perk up with excitement.

"Thanks, hyung!" Taehyung shouts before giving the older his boxy smile and running outside after closing the door shut. Jin just shakes his head, a visible smile ghosting on his lips and went back to watching the movie with Jimin.

"Jeongukkie?" Taehyung whispers as soon as he twists the doorknob open. He finds himself inside their dorm and takes off his shoes before proceeding to the living room. He had been here before with Jimin and Jin but he still feels awkward and unfamiliar inside. Maybe because it's just a one time thing, not like Jimin who practically lives here and in Yoongi's apartment because he kicked him out. He chuckles at his thoughts.

"Taetae? Is that you?" He hears a soft voice from across the doorway. He smiles when he sees the younger wrapped up in his blanket like a cocoon. He's snuggled up on the sofa with a stuffed bunny.

"Seriously, Guk? You still have that bunny I gave you 3 years ago?" He giggles when Jeongguk pouts at him.

He makes grabby hands which indicates that he wants to hug and cuddle with Taehyung. The older immediately hurries his way towards his adorable boyfriend and plops down the sofa. He secures Jeongguk in his embrace and kisses him on his temple tenderly.

"I love you. Go to sleep and rest well," he whispers. He feels Jeongguk's head nod as he nuzzles his face on Taehyung's neck.

"It tickles," Tae whines and giggles.

"I love you. Thank you for coming when I didn't even told you to come. I'm sorry I'm such a burden," Jeongguk whispers rather sad. Taehyung's hands find its way to lift Jeongguk's chin and places a chaste kiss on the younger's lips.

"You are not a burden, Jeon Jeongguk. I am your boyfriend so it's my duty to take care of you. I am worried about you and your health because I don't want you to get sick. So please take care of your health always okay? Don't exhaust yourself too much," Taehyung is close to tears but stops his eyes from doing so because he doesn't want to worry Jeongguk too.

"Tae? Have I told you how lucky I am to be with you? Have I told you that I love you so much?"

"Yes, you did. And I love you too so much, baby."

Jeongguk hums in response before drifting off to sleep.

Taehyung, on the other hand just watched the younger sleep, listening to his soft snores before deciding to go home at 2 AM. He carefully separates his body from Jeongguk's, cautious enough not to disturb the younger from his sleep. He is about to walk towards the door when he notices how uncomfortable Jeongguk will be when he leaves him sleeping on the sofa.

Sighing, he carries him towards his room, which is thankfully open, and lays him down the bed. Jeongguk stirs in his sleep but didn't wake up. Taehyung covers him with his blanket, not forgetting the stuffed bunny before kissing his forehead and going home.
