{[ Rainbow Personas: Part 2 ]}
So um-
I had the idea to start this chapter off differently, since this isn't a typical art dump. But I have not a friggin clue!
So bonjour! How are you guys? Hopefully decent!
Me personally? I hadn't been having a good time mentally lately, admittedly, but as of writing this intro, I'm starting to feel better. Perhaps I'll talk more about it sometime soon in my salt book? We'll see what happens!
Anyways! I'm sure many of you are just dying to know what's going on in this chapter as well as why this is called 'Rainbow Personas Part 2'. The reason is simple! In my second art book, I actually did a chapter that contained some old references of my personas, which were done in a way that I did actually enjoy quite a bit. Of course, about two-three years have passed since then, and my personas have gone through several redesigns/backstory changes. Hell, I have two new personas! So why not make an updated chapter, you know?
Of course, this isn't just gonna contain their new references, but also some doodles and a bonus drawing of their 'fusion', which is... basically just a drawing of irl me. But I'll also be including a 'true fusion' version, where I take bits and pieces I like of all these 'facets' of myself and implement them. I also gave each of them their own little fonts to kinda represent their characters (as well as their handwriting-). My handwriting is far messier.
Now, I feel the need to get this out of the way before I get started.
These characters are my personas, but more accurately, they are 'facets' of myself. They each represent some part of me that I felt the need to characterize. They are not FULL representations of me. I am not genderfluid (as... far as I'm aware, anyways), nor am I polyamorous or a killer or any of that nonsense. However, with that being said, please for the love of god... do not ship yourself with these characters. If it's for a joke, then alright. If you've asked me for permission, alright then. But please, don't do anything weird with them. I don't feel comfortable with having characters that are supposed to be representations of me in some compacity being used in weird ways.
With all that being said, drawings are okay in general and I'm even fine with ship art of the characters themselves.
Now let's get on with this chapter!

Jayden
Jayden used to be called Jayda, but I decided I wanted something far more gender neutral since I have changed Jayden from non-binary to omnigender (they are a l l g e n d e r, very selfish demon >:0). Jayden didn't go through as many changes with their design or character, but I do like how I've wrote them.
Jayden (often called Jay) is a poltergeist type demon that appeared just before Polaris in Pastel's life. They enjoy messing with Pastel in just about every way imaginable. However, as they all grew older and they stayed around Polaris, many of their mean spirit seemed to die down. Jayden is the only roommate to actively flirt with Pastel right in front of Violet. They have a lot of animosity towards Violet. In fact, later on as the two started to better get along, they admitted to Violet that they felt the other demon may take their place as Pastel's specialized demon. They don't enjoy fusing with the other 'faucets'.
Jay is quite a mean spirited, apathetic character towards many people. However, they've shown a softer side towards their so-called roommates (and partner: Polaris). While Jayden is supposed to be representative of my darker thoughts, they do have a mind of their own. They, in their own right, are a sort of protector. While they are often seen trying to bring Pastel or the other faucets down, they're quick to be put in their place and do their best to make up for their mistakes. Especially coming in the form of allowing others to cry around them or helping them sleep when they need it. Yes, they do often cause others to stay awake (or make them sleep in).
Jayden goes by pretty much every single pronoun imaginable, but they often just simply go by 'they/them'. Jayden also got into a relationship first in the 'faucets' group, getting with Polaris as soon as Pastel turned 18-19ish. It was always rather obvious that Jay liked Polar, even Pastel caught on, but they didn't feel comfortable asking Polar out for a long time. Jayden was the most nervous about any potential polyamory, but once getting a small taste with AR200 joining their relationship with Polaris, they found out just how much love they could actually share. Plus, it was nice having two people to hang out with consistently, with dates and whatnot.
Of course, their biggest struggle is communication and not causing pain towards others, but Polaris has been a big help on their learning how to become better.

Pastel
Pastel's real name is Jackie [redacted], but after countless attempts on her life from witch hunters and demons, she made a fake name for herself (that Violet TOTALLY didn't come up with) that she goes by. You guys may consider Pastel being my main persona, which is very true (but is soon to be changed at the end of this chapter mwahahahaha!!)
Pastel grew up very unaware of her witchy heritage. It wasn't until she turned 12 before she was made aware by her grandmother, then caretaker. Her 'Gift' involved being able to create life through her art. Usually, these life forms are tiny. Pastel formally met Jayden and Polaris at around 15 after her grandmother passed away. (Seeing both of them scared the absolute life out of her, but to this day, she never admits it.) Pastel got her face scar after meeting Violet, who was going to kill her initially before falling head over heels in love with her. Many of her other wounds came from accidents or other witch hunters having unsuccessfully killed her. Currently, Pastel works from home in a business she owns. It isn't known how much money she makes, but it's enough to keep up the house note among the other amenities. Pastel didn't really start developing any kind of feelings (that she knew of) until she noticed how different things felt with three roommates being in a relationship.
Pastel and Violet do get together initially at first, before being offered an attempt towards all of them being in a relationship. Pastel wasn't quite as on board right away, but accepted the idea if it was just labeled an experiment. Oddly enough, Pastel was very wary about being in a relationship with anyone, but everyone remained patient with her.

Canis Nova
Canis Nova is a cat that has the markings of a husky dog. It is believed they are a shapeshifting enigma or one of the many forms of the devil. No one actually knows. They don't live with the other Faucets, but do visit frequently. Canis, Jayden, and Polaris seem to know one another well, even occasionally flirting with one another. Canis seems to give very little attention towards Violet or Iridiana, but seems to smother Pastel with attention and affection. While Canis isn't a roommate or an actual 'Facet' like the other personas, they can still fuse with all of them to help create the 'True Persona'. They just often don't join.
You'd think with me being outwardly honest about being a furry that I would've given them a bigger role. But I didn't! You see, I don't exactly fully identify with being a furry. I mostly still prefer using human-like characters, but they are still a part of who I am.

Polaris
Polaris is a guardian angel that grew up alongside Pastel.
Her and Jayden are roughly the same age. Polaris often describes her current life with the Faucets as one of her many, many lives. This often causes Pastel great stress, so she rarely brings it up. Polaris often takes on a motherly role whenever anyone in the household does something incredibly stupid. Despite knowing Jayden is here to hurt Pastel, she absolutely adores them. Polaris seems to have feelings for everyone in the household, but it's first obvious that Jayden was her biggest crush.
Polaris loves everyone a whole ton, and is often incredibly patient with everyone. Even before getting into a relationship with everyone else, she just acts as a supporter for everyone and works hard to make sure everyone is comfortable in the household. Once everyone starts getting together, she is the first to help everyone out with better understanding the relationship, and is often the one who guides everyone into communicating with one another. She also sets up most of the group dates, and helps provide others privacy whenever asked. Polaris has a whole lot of love and is willing to share it with everyone.

AR200 - Iridiana
AR200 was a robot that Pastel rescued from a junkyard for being 'defective'. AR200 was built for the sole purpose of helping doctors, but they had a mind of their own. AR200 gained a ton of new experiences upon living with the human witch and her demonic/angelic roommates. Mostly discovering more about themselves, but also of the world around them. AR200 was called Alice Reed for a short time by Pastel, before deciding that they wanted a name of their own; Iridiana. However, they kept the last name. Iridiana eventually gets into a three-way relationship with Jayden and Polaris, which really changed up how relationships worked within the household.
Once in a relationship, Iridiana grew much more confident in herself and doesn't struggle as much with understanding concepts that are normally a part of being a living being. No one is really sure why this is, but Iridiana credits Polaris and Jayden for being the most helpful. When Pastel and Violet join in the relationship, she was a little bit more hesitant, especially towards still tsundere-like Pastel.

Violet Smith
Violet was a middle child to the Smith household in the 80s. They were witches. She made a deal with the devil to become immortal and loved in exchange for her family's souls. Violet continued to be a witch hunter, up until she killed herself escaping the police for her crimes. She was then reborn as a demon servant for the devil. Around 2014 was when Violet was released back to the mortal realm to continue her duties. She did so with relative ease until she met a young adult human woman, Pastel. Violet initially has a very rocky relationship with Jayden and Polaris, both having been with her for basically her entire life. But she comes around to them. Currently has a massive crush on Pastel, but is known to have some feelings for the other roommates.
As soon as Violet really met Pastel, she had an instantaneous crush on her. Sure, Violet has had plenty of crushes in her time, but something about Pastel really made her brain click. It's often joked about that Violet is really attracted to difficult people, which Vi herself is quick to turn down. Of course, she was very open about her feelings towards Pastel, who didn't really like it. So it took the girl some time to figure out some things, and she learned to give Pastel space. Which then let the witch blossom some feelings for Violet.
And basically, that's how they got together.

Just some little doodles of them being cute and silly! Just to better build their relationship and help with their dynamics! I definitely adore many of these little doodles, I even love the idea of them getting so comfortable with one another that they can be vulnerable.
Also um- yes, technically, Vanilla Twilight IS a persona, but she's kinda like Canis where I just don't relate to her AS much. Plus, she's also literally supposed to represent my childhood so-
ANYWAYS- they are babies forever and always. Is that weird to say about people that are supposed to represent me?? Oh absolutely. But I do not CARE!!!!

And finally- the bonus!
The fusion of all these facets creates well- ME!
I did what I look like irl (more or less). I didn't really use any specfic real world clothes I use, although those boots are based heavily on boots I have in real life! Isn't that just neat? I did two versions, one that looks like me, and one that looks like me but like-
MARY SUE??
AHEM.
I rather like it- the clothes aren't actually permanent. I'm fine if you chose to draw her in other outfits. However...
This persona would absolutely represent me as a person. I don't feel comfortable having ship art drawn of this character unless it's between me and my IRL partner, and even then- please ask for permission first. I also don't want any type of NSFW art of her either. Actually, lets just make this easier-
DON'T DRAW HER WITHOUT MY PERMISSION.
There, simple as that!
Since she's directly a representation of me, please ASK before you draw her.
