It's that time of the year again guys! I haven't done a contest for several months now, so I thought it was time to go again! This is the last contest of 2021 and the very first for 2022! There isn't much else to say, so let me go ahead and reveal the prompt, then explain it, then get to the rules!

The theme is change!

The idea of this contest originated from an art trade between me and PumpkingxAngel, so definitely credits to them for helping out with the idea unwittingly!

The idea behind this contest is to change ANY of my ocs (and maybe even your own ocs) into something new! If you were the one to have the idea for the oc, then how would you envision them? Would you make Mavis into some sort of fairy-like creature? Would you make Poltergeist into a human with a stuffed bear? Well, here's your chance to do just that! The only main thing is:

PLEASE KEEP IT CLEAR WHICH CHARACTER IT IS!! 

I don't mean keep the color palette the exact same or anything, but keep the feeling of the original character. For Mavis, add in some flowers. For Poltergeist, maybe some cute little ghosts. For Jackie, for whatever reason, maybe throw in some paper thrown all over the place. Or you can take the simple road and keep some aspects of the original design in the new one, such as same eye color, same clothing, etc.

For the writers, the opposite is what you get to do. 

Make Summer the sweetest god damn person you can. Make Alison into a cut throat b**ch. Do whatever you want, just keep the look descriptions the exact same! 

Now for the rules:

1: Bases are allowed. However, I will dock off points if I see there is no deviation from the original base. I will also dock points if I see no credit to the original artist. I will also disqualify you if I see you flat out traced another person's art work that is NOT a base. 

2: No using species that are closed. I doubt this rule will be broken, but I will still add it just incase.

3: No NSFW. In this case, I will not allow gore of any kind. I see no need for that. I also do not want overtly sexualize characters (male, female, anything in between). Even my characters that are supposed to be a bit more sexual must keep it classy. 

4: No guilt tripping the judge (AKA: Me). Do not downplay your artistic talent and do not try to tear down other artists.

4: Absolutely NO POSTING ANY OF THE WORKS YOU MAKE ANYWHERE until the contest is complete. This is to keep others from finding out how you did and to keep ideas from being stolen. It also helps with motivation for some of the competitors. Only post the artwork to me in DMs on Discord or Instagram.

5: You can post up to two different pictures. Each picture can have up to two characters. That gives you room to do one of your own characters alongside my own.

6: You MUST do one of my characters. I prefer one of my main characters BUT I will be happy to see any one of my characters being used. Right now my OC book is still not... done yet, but I have plenty of OCs in my art books, and I can probably hunt down a reference for you if you need one.

7: For the writers: there is no word limit, but I don't want something shorter then 100 words. 

8: Most importantly- Have fun! This contest isn't supposed to be super difficult, and I hope I achieved that for this contest.

The Due Date is January 31, 2022

Winners will be announced the following week. 

Prizes will be done hopefully two weeks after winner announcements. Please have an idea what characters you'd like done for prizes ahead of time. Please and thank you :)
