Victor's Pov

After taking a nice  hot shower, I changed into some peach sweatpants and a cashmere v-neck sweater before pulling out my phone and scrolling through social media to see what a few of my friends were up to. I noticed a few pictures a Yurio, but nothing really caught my interest.

Putting my phone on a bedside table to charge, I made my way to the balcony and looked out at the town of Bienne. All around me, the trees were spotted with leaves in orange, yellow and blue as squirrels scampered up and down their branches.

Further down below the 4th floor, there were a few people with their children heading off to what looked like the beach,  judging by the floaters that some of the children were carrying. Facing forward again, even though I hadn't really done anything since Chris and Yuri had headed out, which had been about three hours ago, I still felt really tired, I just didn't know why.

Laying down on a recliner, I found a book that was stashed under the seat.

Reading the summary at the back of the book, it was about a young boy that always wanted to make a difference in his life. 

When he develops supernatural abilities, he tries to help people around him that really need it. Intrigued, I casually flipped it open and read the first few pages. Before long, I was somewhere halfway when I started to drift off to sleep. Shutting my eyes shut tightly, I opened them again and yawned. I wonder when Chris and Yuri are coming back.

Yuri's Pov

As we walked back to Chris's loft, Chris unexpectedly slid his arm around mine and pulled me closer, instantly making me smile. It wasn't just words that could explain how I felt in that moment, it was expressions like laughs and giggles, it was the little things like when Chris would kiss my ear or we'd lock pinkies together, or when Chris would unexpectedly pull me against him and I'd inhale his Burberry Black scent; it was so much more than words.

Once we got back to the loft, there was no refraining myself from hiding the smile that seemed to be permanently plastered on my face. Despite the dubious look I received from Victor,he still hugged me before skipping towards the door to embrace Chris.

I think what really put me in such a choice mood was that now I was assured I was in fact capable of comforting Chris, and now he knew that too ;I could think of nothing more satisfying right then.

After having some rice and chicken that Chris had expertly prepared for Victor and I, I gave Chris a hug of gratitude,just to let him know that however I may have helped him, he helped me too,then went to the bathroom to take a shower.

The weather may have been very pleasant outside, but something about a nice hot shower made a day complete in itself. That just left Victor and Chris beside themselves in the living room.

Chris's Pov

Draping my arms around Victor's torso, Victor casually wrapped his arms around Chris's neck.

"Why are you in such a good mood?" Victor teased.

"Can't I just be in a good mood with your fiancée? We used to share everything, Victor. Are you telling me Yuri's off limits?" I teased right back. Amused at my response, Victor hid his face into my frame, his laugh reverberating against my chest.

Moving closer to me, I pulled him into a hug and felt his strong arms covering me, trying to protect me from all the things I didn't want to feel. I wasn't entirely sure how long we remained that way, but for a while,everything was at a standstill; the crickets that regularly chirped outside, the running of the shower somewhere behind us, our steady breathing.

It was as if someone had pressed pause on an anime,and we were just waiting to pick up where they had left off. It was a peaceful quiet.
