Yuri's Pov  
The next day, I once woke up again in Victor's arms. That wasn't what surprised me, though. Closely observing my attire, I noticed that I was in my pyjamas. Why don't I remember putting these on? I wondered. I also realized that Victor had on his pyjamas as well. Getting out of bed, I walked into the kitchen and put on a pot of coffee while I made some eggs,toast and bacon. The aroma must have woken Victor, because he appeared shortly after myself. I thought that the first thing he would do is take the plate I offered him. Instead, he set it aside before pulling me into a hug, tenderly rubbing my back and mussing my hair.
"Good morning, Yuri."
"Victor."

Whenever we were on the ice together, those moments always left me feeling exhilarated. But these, these moments made me feel warm.
After breakfast, I took a shower and washed my clothes before hanging them to dry. Right after I hung the salmon shirt, I just remembered to call Chris.
"Oh No!!! I better call him right away!!"
Walking quickly to my bedroom, I dialed up Chris' number.

"Yuri,how nice to hear from you again," he mused.

"You too, Chris. I've really been meaning to call you. How's Switzerland?"

"Boring. I have friends, but everyone's busy. Hows you and Coach Victor? Have you gone out yet?" Chris whined on the other end of the line.

"Well, that's actually why I was calling. We actually went to a music festival last night, I had an incredible time!!" I exclaimed. Incredible doesn't even cover it.

"I'm glad to hear it, come visit me one day, and bring Victor!!! Ciao for now."

"Bye Chris."

Ending the call, I put on my earphones and laid on my bed. As soon as I had laid down, I heard Victor calling my name.
Hmm, I wonder what he could want.
Walking over to his room, he smiled that smile I've come to know and love.

"Yuri, Phichit is outside waiting for you. Have a nice time."

That's strange, what's that distant look I noticed in Victor's eyes?

"I will, see you later!!"

Heading out of the house, I found Phichit idly sitting on the steps. Once he saw me, he tackled me playfully before pulling back.

"Yuri!!! What do you say we go down to the rink? It's been a while since we've skated together!!"

"That's a great idea!! Let's go!"

As soon as we got there, Phichit raced me to the lockers and put on his skates. Once I had mine on, I followed him to the ice and let the quiet atmosphere take me over. While we were there, we performed our routines for each other,and even skated to some together. Every now and again, the look Victor gave me kept finding its way into my mind, but I just couldn't figure out what it meant. By the end of the day, I was tired and happy. Panting next to Phichit, I forgot how great it felt to skate with him. I felt free.
        Saying farewell to Phichit, I returned home to look for Victor. Entering his room, I found him sound asleep. Sitting at the foot of his bed was Maccachin. Joining his dog on the floor, I looked up at Victor. I know something's bothering you,so why won't you tell me, I thought to myself. As if he heard what I was thinking, I saw him shift in his sleep before waking up.

"Yuri, how long have you been here?" Victor asked as he propped himself up by his elbow.

"Not long, what's troubling you?" I asked, hoping he would tell me.

"Come lay down with me."

Standing up, I climbed into bed with him.

"You might not want to hear this, but sometimes I fear that you're with me because if you say no to me, I won't want to be your coach anymore. As stunned as I would be, I could never leave you, not for anything this world has to offer. I would never ask you to be anything but yourself."

Shocked at what he just told me, I sat up in his bed.

"Victor, why would you even conceive such a thought? Don't you know me at all?" I asked.

"Its because I've gotten to know you that I thought that. Tell me I'm wrong."

Doing a double take, I realized that all Victor wanted was for me to clarify how I felt, not accuse me. But I was still shocked at how assertive he was being, angry at myself for making him doubt me, so I lashed out.

"In the beginning, I admired you beyond compare, I still do!! But I would never stoop to manipulating you, or lead you to think I feel a way that I don't," I shouted at him. Noticing his expression, I softened my tone. Laying back down, I held his cheek in my hand.

"Since you came here, you awakened something in me, something I didn't even know was there. And you're still here. This is me reassuring you; You'll always hold a place in my heart."
