In this world of instant communication, we are constantly on the go.  People go to work or school and extra activities and they're constantly coming and going.  They don't have much time to rest and in the Bible, rest was very important. 

It's important that we rest and spend time with God.  It's a very uncommon belief nowadays because people see it as being lazy.  When in fact God wants us to rest with Him.  Jesus at one time sent his disciples to a quiet place to rest.  They had been so busy helping and healing people (something that was good) but even they rested.

When you take time out for Him, God will help everything else fall into place. 

How busy are you today? Are you resting with God?

"Come to me all you who labor and I will give you rest.  Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me for I am gentle and lowly in heart and you will find rest for your souls.  For My yoke is easy and my burden is light." - Matthew 11: 28-30 .
