I hope you will be inspired with this story i made for you in the observance of the Lenten Season, 2015.

One night i have dreamed that i was walking along a very long road with the Lord... He was holding my hand while we kept on walking.. As we went on further more, i noticed there was a way going to the left direction... And when i turned my gaze towards it, i saw sparkling lights on and off, i heard people shouting and laughing as if they were having so much fun..

Because of my curiousity, i felt tempted to see what was going on there! So i asked the Lord...

"Lord, can i go there for awhile?" i asked Him while pointing the place which has so many sparkling lights... i slowly took off His hand from me...and quickly ran, taking the way to the left direction, leaving the Lord standing there while He watched me go.

"Come back fast, i will wait for you!" the Lord said to me.

I heard him, but i didnt mind what He said, I didnt even looked back at Him...i just continued running until i felt tired...i stopped for awhile and looked back.. I saw the Lord still standing there watching at me, but He was already very far in a distance.. I turned my gaze at the place that have sparkling lights and i noticed i was almost near. So i continued walking until i reached the place... I saw people singing and dancing... Some men were drinking wine while girls were flirting to them, having fun... There were also naked women dancing under the sparkling lights while drunk men watching them... But there was something caught my attention..There were people playing in a gambling house.. I saw a lot of money.. So i went there and watched them play.. I got interested.. Until i noticed i was already starting to gamble with them... Suddenly, i won and got lots of money..i gambled again..until it became my vice! I fôrget about the Lord, all my life was spent in gambling. I won again lots and lots of money until i was able to bought material things for myself and became rich...But gambling game doesnt always promise never-ending lucks...Until i realized i was slowly selling my properties because of gambling..It came to the point that i completely lost everything and i saw myself eating left over food from garbage...until i got serious illness and almost dying with no one beside me! This time i remember the Lord...

" I left the Lord alone in a far away place in exchanged for my worldly desires! I am a bad person!" i thought to myself.

My eyes was filled with tears, feeling sorry for all my sins! Suddenly, i felt a sense of relief, i slowly got up and started to walk, despite of my pains..

"I will go back to the Lord!" i thought to myself.

But another voice from my head, whispered...

"Its been long years since you left your Lord in a far away place,. I wonder if He is still there waiting for you!"

But i didnt mind what i heard, instead i continued walking the road that leads to the Lord... I felt i was almost running out of breath as i took every step, due to my illness, but i endured it all... until i was almost getting nearer to the place where i left the Lord! My heart was beating fast as i looked towards it.. I saw a tent that was built, where the Lord once stand.. I went nearer and nearer when all of a sudden i saw a man wearing a white robe coming out from the tent!

"The Lord! He smiled at me!" i whispered in so much joy..

I felt a lump in my throat and burst into tears knowing He still waited for my return no matter how long i came back!

"Welcome back, my child!" the Lord embraced me with so much love..

"Lord, i am sorry if i took you for granted..and left you in exchange for my wordly desires!" i said to Him feeling a dept act of contrition for my sins..

"I already forgive you! What is important now, is you're back !" said the Lord.

"I was thinking you left me already..!" i told Him.

"No my child! I would never leave you, and no matter how long it takes, I always wait the day 'till you come back to Me!" the Lord replied and hugged me tight.

The Lesson:

Sometimes in our lives we became busy indulging ourselves with worldly desires, and leads us to be separated from God! We only remember God when we came to face unbearable challenges in our lives....We only call on God when we are in hopeless situation.  And God is really a forgiving God that eventhough how much wicked we are, He's still there patiently waiting for us until the day we come back to Him.... Am i right folks? Hmmmmm...
