There was a filipina young woman named Alona who risked herself to apply for a job as an OFW in Malaysia.. She was a single mom to her 2 kids and their life wasnt that easy,. she could hardly find a job here in the Philippines to support their living, so thats the reason she grabbed the opportunity when her friend asked her if she wants to work as DH in Malaysia... The agency didnt asked her any placement fee, so all the travel expenses belong to the employer..

It was a very lonely night for Alona and she couldnt sleep,. Silent tears fell down from her eyes as she was staring at her kids who were fast asleep already...

"Alona, don't be sad... i will take care of your kids while youre away!" said her mother while she rubbed her back..

"Im sorry, Mama, but i really cant help to be emotional,. This is my last moment to see my kids, tomorrow morning when they wake up, im at the airport already!" Alona became more emotional as she hugged her mother so tight!

"But, this is what you're waiting for....! To work abroad!"

"Yes Mama.. i just gonna missed my kids! Please Mama, i want you to take care of them when im away..!"

"Don't worry Alona, i will take care of them..!" Her mother rubbed her forehead tenderly and hugged her.

When Alona, reached in Malaysia, she found out that the job she was applying for wasn't vacant anymore... But her agent suggested her an Indonesian employer for her to work with, and immediately Alona go with him and fly to Indonesia...

In the Philippines, while Alona's mother and father were taking breakfast, suddenly a flash report from tv, stole their attention.. The newscaster said that an OFW from Indonesia named Alona Perez was arrested by police officials at the airport. The police caught her carrying shabu and heroin in her luggage.. It was a grievous offence and Alona will be sentence to death by the Indonesian government if found guilty.

Upon hearing the news, Alona's mother got so nervous, she felt a lump in her throat and burst into tears..

"Oh my God!!! what happend to Alona??? She should be in Malaysia, why is it she is in Indonesia? My daughter is not a drug lord, why they had arrested her?" her mother yelled in fear and anger while Alona's father was just freezed and shocked in his seat.

After that incident, Alona was immediately put to detention cell while her case was still under invistigation!

Months later,
Still, theres no positive result with the investigation..

"Ali, i don't think i can get out from this jail anymore...i'm so hopeless!!! My children needs me, they are still young! I don't like to die like this! Ali, i am innocent, i did nothing wrong, why do i have to suffer like this???" Alona told the jail guard with tears in her eyes..

"Stop crying, Alona...! I understand you... I believe youre not guilty, you did nothing wrong!" said the guard with full of sympathy.

Ali was a jail guard and also Alona's friend. He was the only person who believe that Alona was only a frame up victim.

"Thank you, Ali, at least i know there is one person who believes im innocent.." Alone told the jail guard as she wiped her tears by her hands.

Meanwhile, in the Philippines, Alona's mother was so tired of begging help from the government officials... Everyone whom she talked to and asked help, made her wait until nothing happens... Even the highiest officials didnt do anything!

Years past and still, Alona got stucked in jail helpless..

"Alona, Alona, how are you there inside the jail? Im really sorry, i already did everything i can, asking help for your case, but it seems everyone dont like to help us... Im sorry!" Alona's mother burst into tears as she speak to her daughter over the phone..

"Mama, stop crying, lets just face the reality... Theres no way i can scape death anymore...! This is it, this is my fate, theres nothing we can do! Next month, it will be my execution...!" Alona told her mother in sad voice with tears in her eyes..

"No, Alona, just dont forget to pray to God, He is our only hope!"

"Mama, i never stop praying! Everyday and everynight i pray!!! If its my fate to die like this, i accept it!" Alona, cant hold on anymore her emotion and burst into tears over the phone..

One day, Jonjon, Alona's 8 years old eldest son, approach her grandmother!

"Lola, when will Mama be back home? Its been a long time, but she never come home once! Lola, sometimes i got jealous with my classmates, their mother come up the stage to pin their medal,. I miss Mama already, hope she can come home next month for me,. Lola, i am second honors, i want Mama to come up the stage for me!" Jonjon told her grand mother..

"Yes of course! Your mother will come back home soon! Dont worry!" his grandmother give him a smile, while hiding inside her true emotions.

But Jonjon's happiness and joy were replaced with great sadness and shocked, when he heard the news in TV that his Mother, Alona Perez was one of the two pinays who will be executed and would be firing squad the next month..

Month past and it was one week before the execution for Alona.. The Indonesian government officials, gave Alona one wish before she die.. And her wish was to see her family and to hug them for the last time.. And her wish was granted..

Her family immediately flown to Indonesia as Alona's wish...Upon seeing them, Alona became very emotional as she hugged her parents and her son...

"Alona, dont lose hope! God will help us!" Her mother and father burst into tears as they hugged her tightly...

"Mama, Papa, don't cry! Lets just accept the reality... Dont worry i have already accepted my fate... Youre presence and the warmth of your hugs gave me extra strength, I am now ready to face my death!"

"Dont say that Alona pls, i still believe, God will make a way!"

"Mama, the government official here have already decided, and, their decision is final, no one can stop them,.!" said Alona in a very sad voice!

"Jonjon, son...! Mama loves you, always remember that ha? I want you to take care of your younger sister when im gone, ha? Alona, hugged her son very tight as she burst into tears..

"Mama, dont say that, you wont die now! I prayed to Papa Jesus, i have asked Him to give you another chance to live..I know Papa Jesus will answer my prayer..because i know He hears the prayer of a child like me! So, Mama, pls dont cry na ha? You know, Mama, i dreamed last night, i saw you alive and come back home with us..!" said Jonjon while hugging his mother.

"Yes my son, i can go back home, thats true, because you will take my lifeless body with you when you go back home...!" Alona spoke sofly while she kissed the forehead of his son as her last goodbye!

It was 2 minutes before Alona's execution.. Her parents was so restless at the hotel room...

"Alfonso, i felt so restless, i pity our daughter,. In seconds the bell will ring followed by a gun shot and Alona will gonna be dead! Alona...Alona!!!!!" Alona's mother, yelled in so much pain in her heart...She can hardly breath and became unconcious..Her father got panic..and gave his wife first aid.. Alona's father was in deep anguish when he heard someone knocked at their door...

'Mr. Perez! Mr. Perez!!!! open the door...!" told the strange man outside.

"Who are you?"

"Mr. Perez, i am Ali, i am a jail guard, and Alona's friend,. Mr. Perez, the execution of Alona has not been made... The real accused has been captured and he admitted to the police that he was the one who put illegal drugs on Alona's luggage before... Alona was saved.. Thanks be to God!!!"

'Its God's miracle!!!! Praise Him!!! I never thought, this will happen.... Its a miracle!!" Mr. Perez was overwhelmed with unexplainable happiness!

It was Sunday morning, Alona was released from the jail and the Indonesian government officials immediately dismissed her case...

"See, Mama, i told you, Papa Jesus answers prayer! You just have to believed it...! And my dreams come true, because today, you will come home with us!! I love you, Mama!!!"JonJon happily hugged his mother..

"Than you, son!" Alona hugged her son with tears of joy in her eyes..

Alona's family was very happy with all the blessings they had received, they immediately say a mass at a nearby christian church for a thanksgiving to God and happily go back home to Philippines!

There comes a time in our life when we are at the edge of losing our hope...we had prayed alot but still no answer... We felt God is forsaking us, while we are so helpless.We felt ourselves drowning little by little in the middle of the deep sea with nothing to hold.... when all of a sudden, we felt a big fish slowly pushing us up to prevent us from drownimg and saved us!!! That's a miracle!

Sometimes when we pray, we should have a heart like a child, full of hope even its very impossible.. Just believe..! and have Faith., God will make a way, even if there seems to be no way! Nothing is impossible with Him!
