It was the most horrifying moment for the people of Tacloban City, Philippines, when they were hit by the destructive typhoon "Yolanda". Many people had died and the place became a ghost town! Everything was ruined, the bridges, buldings, roads, establishments and houses and thousands of people were washed out by a gigantic waves into the sea. Darkness filled the whole town with some stranged sounds of ghosts wailing at night.. The air became polluted with bad smell from the decaying bodies of humans and animals... Tacloban City was in its highiest peak of economy, when it got strucked by a big typhoon. It was once a busy town and full of hopes and dreams! But in just a second all their dreams were drifted apart.

Three days after the wrath...

There was a girl named Jenny, she was 10 years old. Her family was included on that fatal night when a huge waves washed them away into the sea.. Her mother, father and one big brother have never seen alive.. She was lucky and miraculously got rescued. Some rescuers find her floating in the middle of the sea while holding an empty water container... Now she's alive, she survived, she's lucky! But she was in deep truama about the incident! Its painful for her , how her tears never stop rolling down from her eyes as she was staring at the place where their house once stand..! Jenny was the youngest in the family. She has one big brother..they were an image of a perfect family! She could still remember how her mom used to give her a sweet hug everytime she arrived from school and cooked her favorite food,. And she could still remember the sweet Dunkin Donuts her Dad used to buy for them when arriving home from work.. She could still remember how her big brother used to teased her but once in awhile hugged her and took her to a nearby burger stand to eat snacks! And now they were gone, and theres no coming back! She would no longer see them alive. Jenny became more and more emotional as she looked around the empty streets with some people crying maybe also by the lose of their love ones like her...

"Mom, Dad, Kuya! Where are you???"

Jenny cried in so much pain of loneliness, as she laid down her small body on a mat at the place where their house once stand! She felt so alone and she couldn't hold back her tears from falling...

"Theres no reason for me to live anymore!!!!!" Jenny despirately shouted at the top of her voice!

Her loneliness was replaced with anger. She burried her face in her hands, fighting her strong urge to kill herself... How she wished herself got drowned together with her family also.., in that case she could never been miserable like this...

Her tears stopped from falling when a cold wind moved her gently.. She quickly got up and she saw a radiant image of a man dressed in long white robe, standing infront her.

"Who are you?" she asked Him as she made one step backward, afraid of what she saw. Her heart was pounding too fast,.

"Come with Me!" God spoke in a deep voice as He extended His Hand to her..

But she was hesitant to reached out His Hand.... Then God spoke again..

"Come my child, Don't be afraid! Come, take my Hand!" God smiled at her..

"I know you want to see them. Im giving you a chance!"

Jenny felt relieved. All her fears subsided as she heard Him spoke... She knew that she was with God.. The moment she touched His Hand, the place suddenly became all white! All she saw were people dressed in white...They looked very happy singing praises to God! There were so many angels dancing to the tune of a sweet melodies she have never heard before..

"What place is this?" she asked God with a surprised look.

"This is my Home! People called this place,"HEAVEN"!" God replied.

Suddenly, all her excitement was replaced with fear...

"Lord, am i dead already?"

"No my child, you are still alive!"

"But, why is it i'm here?"

"I just want to have a moment with you!" She saw how God smiled at her with full of love...

As they continued walking, God led her to a private room.. She saw many television screens, like its God's Satelite on Earth, maybe His way to monitor all mankind. There was a scene from the television screen that caught her attention... She saw a little boy getting bit by a cruel old woman.. He was crying for help but it seems no one cared for him.. The old woman seems like she never heard the boy's cry and plea until his skin were already covered with blood.. Jenny was moved and felt pity for the boy, then she asked God...

"Lord, is he going to die?"

God replied...

"No, its not yet his time! He will experience more!"

Jenny felt upset and she questioned God about it...

Lord, why are you so unfair for that boy, You see he is almost dying! Why you allow it to happen to him? Im sure you can help him!"

"That little boy is strong! I know he will surpass all the challenges and obstacles in his life. And once he did, he will be successful and will thank all the hardships he had gone through his life!" God answered her.

I'm sorry, Lord!" Jenny said in a low voice.

God smiled at her and embrace her while rubbing her head and spoke...

"My child, everything that happens in your life, happens for a reason! I know you cant understand it now, but as time goes by, you will know the reasons and you will thank for it.. Your parents didnt left you to be miserable. They had left you because you are strong enough to face life all by yourself!"

Jenny was touched of what God spoke to her, she became emotional and started to sob...

"Cry my child! All of you can cry, all of you can be weak! But never forget I want all of you to be strong and brave! That's why i sent you problems and trials, not to punish you, but to mold you into a strong human being!" God continue to spoke while tapping her back.

As they came out of the room, Jenny saw her parents not far from where they stood.. She saw her Mom, Dad and her brother, they were all dressed in white robe and happy chanting with the angels... Their faces looked like calm and at ease...

"There they are... Your love ones! They are a part of my Kingdom now. They are not experiencing pains anymore!" God spoke to her as He pointed them.

"Lord, can i go there and talk to them? I missed them so much, i want to hug them, please!!!" Jenny asked God.

"No my child! Its not yet time! You don't belong here yet... You can just wath them from here!" God answered.

"Someday, when i called you here, im sure you will be reunited with them again... Its not yet your time, I have still plans for you! Live your life according to My Will and enjoy! You have still a long journey to take!" God smiled at her while touching her chin..

Jenny woked up from the ray of the morning sunlight flashing on her face... She didnt know she had fallen asleep while on her deep agony.. Now she felt relieved.. Her fears and worries were instantly replaced with hope and courage... She got up, fixed herself and start a new life again..

Not long before, Jenny was taken by the DSWD, a government agency for the homeless... And later on, she was adopted by an American couple...

There are times in our life when we encounter very difficult challenges and we are thinking its already the end of our life, but what we didn't know, God is just preparing us to a more beautiful life He want us to be.. Its just like He is emptying our hands for us to be able to receive His gifts!
