Chapter 24
You awoke. The sky was pale blue. The dress was on its hook. It'd been an exciting few days. You walked over to the door. You sighed. "Just the ladies I was expecting." Leah giggled.
"Today's the day," Abigail stated. She gazed at you. "Big day jitters?" You smiled.
"I won't lie to you, I do maybe have a bit of jitters." Abigail grinned.
"I'd have too." You let them inside. Abigail gazed around. "What a quaint little building." You followed her gaze.
"It's old, but it's home." Abigail turned to you.
"I'm sure Elliott'll love it."
"So where's the dress?" You pointed at it and Leah walked over to it. "It's beautiful... are those fleur-de-lis's?"
"Yes."
"Wow. They're beautiful."
"I chose that design because he calls me his flower." Leah glanced at you. Then, she smiled.
"Where did the dress come from?"
"My mother's a seamstress. It's not what she usually makes but when she heard I was getting married she wanted to try and make one. She didn't make it too fancy." The girls gazed at you.
"That's really sweet. And I agree, not too fancy but fancy enough," said Leah. You gazed at the dress.
"Let's get it on me," you suggested. "And see how it looks." The girls nodded. They walked over to you and helped you change.
"Great Yoba, Y/N... you're beautiful.." Leah gawked. She regained herself. "I'm sure Elliott will love it." Abigail gave her a look.
"Anyway, Y/N, we gotta go and get more formal, see you at the ceremony." You watched them leave.
"See you!" You shouted after them.

A few hours later, you took a deep breath. From behind the sign you saw the whole town gathered and Elliott by the arch. And you also saw some people else. Your parents. When had they got here? You had no knowledge on whether they were coming or not. Sure, they lived in the city which wasn't too far way but still. Taking another deep breath you started walking down the aisle. Well, it wasn't really an aisle. You soon reached Elliott at the end. No words were spoken between you. "When Y/N first moved here no one was sure if she was going to fit in," Lewis began. "But here today, she finally becomes one of us. Friends and family, we are gathered here today to celebrate the union of Elliott and Y/N in the bonds of marriage. Elliott, do you take Y/N to be your lawfully wedded wife?"
"I do."
"And Y/N, do you take Elliott to be your lawfully wedded husband?"
"If I could say 'I do' thousand times over, I would." Lewis smiled.
"Then as holder of the matrimonial seal I now pronounce you husband and wife! You may now kiss the bride." Elliott softly smiled and brought your lips together. You could hear cheering in the background and you threw the flowers. You didn't see the purple haired girl who caught it. You broke off and followed Elliott away from the ceremony.
"I'm so happy you're my wife, Y/N.."
"And I'm happy you're my husband..."
