the proceeding day, he decides to communicate after these past few days, which brought nothing but tranquility. it was tremendously bizarre for someone to initiate conversations later on than the first meeting. yet again, he did tell me to eat once. this man is such a rather secretive fellow.

"why are you always here?"

i was taken aback by his question, which took me a few seconds to ponder over.

"i want a breather from my homework... i guess."

my eyes landed on his face. and might i say, what a fine young lad he is. the light caramel tint of his skin, appearing soft and subtle. eyes, light brown that can make anyone melt at first sight of them. and his slender and thin nose, tracing down to his pink and plump lips, which looked godly kissable. hair messy, but smooth all at once. and his handsome features fit his likable, deep voice. and for one, am impressed.

"hmm, i see."

once again, the room hushed. pondering on who should start the cut-off conversation, which my timid, idiotic self should have started, it was he who made the bold move. with such a good-looking man who's name shall be named, it was very generous of him. and out of the goodwill of my heart, i started it again.

"if you must know, aside from my homework. i have no ability to sleep... anymore. it's not stress nor sleep deprived. just..."

"insomnia." he says.

agreeing with a nod, he smiled. in return, did the same.

"did," he says. "did you like the ramen? i wasn't sure if it was your favorite flav-"

"i did, don't worry. that was kind of you, so i liked the ramen."

did i ever mention that out of all the things i adored, one of them are bright smiles from people? well, not too be as creepy as it should, but a smile tells a lot. how some smile from hiding their real pain from the world, how some... smile from the kindness of their heart. it holds a special meaning beneath it.
