"i can't sleep, my insomnia gets worse by the day."

"finding a way to cure insomnia... we can experiment on varieties of such things that will put you to sleep... are you stressed or anything at all?"

"not that i know of."

voices abruptly stopped and silence filled the air between hyungwon and i. the sounds of winds can be heard murmuring from the slightly unlatched window at the end of the vast room. it's happened again, i thought to myself. how can someone who has a lot to say, are unable say anything towards someone who's been a company these past weeks? it's very peculiar if i say so myself.

"what do you study?"

such a sudden question escaped from hyungwon's lips, along with the curiousity of his tone of voice.

"i study lots of things. that's what happens when you want to become a doctor."

"wah, that's good! imagine all the people you'll save."

"mhm, i would be glad to aid someone's suffering."

"must be nice."

"what about you?"

"i'm... i'm studying to be a lawyer."

with eyes widening at his reply, for a lawyer incorporates laborious career and the righteous intellects. someone whom is a to-be lawyer, how come he is frequently present inside the cafeteria with the misuse of time when such occupation involves studying all night?

"h-how come you're always here? don't you even study? you are working to be a lawyer, so how would you help me cure my insomnia?"

"......"

"i-i'm sorry, it just came out. that was stupid of me to ask some personal ques-"

"i'm here to cool myself down, and i study... a lot. since i do a lot of sleeping-issue research for myself at times, i happen to scroll through those types of information which is now put into good use."

"ahhh, makes sense... thanks."

"it's alright for you to ask me, no sweat."

the window was to my far right, and within a second, my mind was then immersed in looking outside.
