"lee minji."

the sound of a clear voice was heard, to which belonged to none other than chae hyungwon. having to arrive before him felt like an accomplishment, might i say. though it was never a competition, it makes me happy somehow.

"come with me."

taking his hand onto mine, both of us depart from the under illuminated and now, vacant cafeteria. strolling along the campus, with my feet following his without a single word. and eventually ending up in front of the campus library.

he unlocks the door and motioned his hands to let me in first. and he followed after and closed the door.

"oh yeah, the library is closed, but they always leave the doors unlocked. university needs a new librarian."

strolling through the bookshelves with my hands gliding on the book sides, my eyes peering behind me and noticed hyungwon had taken out a book. skimming through the pages, without a second passing, his eyes were completely immersed through the emitting words of the book.

smiling, my eyes and feet wandered through the empty halls of the hushed building until voices of murmur can be heard. gandering through the cracks of the bookshelves, my eyes spot one man and a woman. the man, leaning against the shelf with a book on his hand and his other hand tucked in his pocket while the woman, slightly smiling at him.

they both looked quite happy with each other's company... as a couple would be. without disturbing their content state, quietly leaving the scene and returning back to hyungwon, who looked unwell.

"hey, what's up?"

"minji, i thought you got lost or something. I got wor-"

quickly shushing him, which eventually leading our ways out of the library.

"what's up with you?"

"there was this couple in there who looked like they were having fun on their own. i didn't want to bother them, so..."

"you decided to leave the library so you won't disturb them."

bobbing at the statement, my eyes then wandered to the vast campus. never realized how vast it was, for not acknowledging the facts.

"would you mind taking a walk with me then?"

"i'd love that."
