namjoon saw jungkook almost falling face first on his food, his eyes closed. namjoon sat in front of him and pulled jungkook's food away from him.

"sleep...." jungkook muttered and rested his head on the table.

namjoon tsked and lightly smacked the younger's head.

"you're so stupid. jin told me. why were you listening to mixtapes tho?"

at the mention of mixtapes, it was as if someone gave jungkook an energy drink or caffeine. he suddenly felt alive and awake. he sat up straight and pulled his food closer to him.

"accidentally accessed this site named mixyourtape..."

"mixyourtape? thats where i upload my mixtapes." namjoon said matter-of-factly and turned back to jungkook.

"so what do you think? i told you mixtapes are full of jams as fuck."

jungkook cant help but grin. he really loved the mixtapes of yoongi, even those who arent edited that well.

especially yoongi's voice...

now that he thought of his voice, he remembered earlier when he was in his homeroom and he stayed back for a few minutes to sleep, he suddenly heard yoongi's voice and it made him stir awake.

he looked around but then he didnt see anyone who had mint hair.

"earth to jungkook, earth to jungkook. annyeong..." namjoon waved his hand in front of jungkook's face, making him snap back to reality. he sheepishly apologized for spacing out.

namjoon waved it off. "what were you thinking of though. you were grinning af."

jungkook thought if he should tell namjoon about it, then decided to tell him because he's his friend anyway.

and as if he'll be able meet yoongi anyway.

jungkook felt his heart throb but he ignored it.

"there was one of the recommended users that i listened to. his mixtapes are all so good! but i havent listened to all, but so far, two thumbs up, really."

namjoon raised his brow. 'since when did jungkook grow interest in these things?' he thought.

he felt a bit jealous. no, he doesnt like the younger. namjoon already has jin, but then he felt jealous because jungkook didnt show that much interest in his own friend's mixtapes but is interested in someone else's mixtapes.

jungkook, as if reading his mind, said, "im not saying that your mixtapes arent good, hyung! theyre awesome and all, but

there's just something in yoongi's mixtapes that makes me want to listen..." he mumbled the last part, but namjoon still heard it clearly.

the older's eyes widened. "did you just say yoongi?!"

jungkook nodded.

"dude! thats my idol right there!" all the jealousy that he felt melted in a blink of an eye when he heard yoongi's name.

"who, yoongi?" jungkook asked, confused.

namjoon happily nodded. "he's the one with the gray hair, right?"

'gray? didn't hyung mean mint?', jungkook wondered.

"ani. his hair is mint."

namjoon laughed. "oh right. that photo he's using in mixyourtape is old. he already dyed his hair gray."

"jinjja?! gray?!" namjoon nodded.

"how did you know, hyung?" the younger asked suspiciously.

namjoon brought out his phone and opened his instagram and went to yoongi's profile. it doesnt have much, only twenty photos. he clicked on one and showed jungkook.

"thats him now. this was a month ago, but his recent photos show his gray hair, too."

jungkook felt happy, sad, frustrated, and jealous when he looked at the photo.

yoongi looks so much more handsome with gray hair. he's wearing a white shirt and jeans in the photo, but somehow, he looks like he's from the runway. everything about the photo looks perfect

except

that black haired guy holding yoongi's waist.

for the first time in his life, jungkook felt something weird.

it's the first time he felt jealous.

jealous that he's not the reason

behind yoongi's wide smile in the picture.
