33. In The Woods
In The Woods
Sometimes I run out of breath.
Not lack of air, but peace of mind,
And so I want to get out of my home
To the world of woods, wherever I find
Outside the lawn, and further-
Across the yards, where bushes I see
I'll lie down under the moon
And let the moss grow over me,
Let go of the world's devilish anxiety
And forget all my incomplete tasks
Wake me up when world gets better,
When people will smile without masks
When they won't feed on themselves,
And the air is not deceitful,
When madness and despair will lessen
And the night's again peaceful.
Until then I'll stay in the woods
With closed eyes and a dead mind,
I'll not just stay in woods,
Controlling emotions and being blind
I'll give way to the possibilities once
And try to find a true reason to smile,
Neglecting the imperfections
And (try to) believe in hope for a while
And let go of all the shattered dreams
And inhuman feelings that I did amass
Until then I'll (try to) sleep peacefully
And my emotions will feed the grass.

PS: It is only a dream. And so are hope and peaceful sleep.
If the poem is beautiful, all thanks to:
CrystalleAura , a great friend and poet herself.
