IT'S SO HARD TO FORGET when I keep on remembering the little things I said and did with them. Stupidity, is what that is quite simply. But when they're your first kiss, your first love, the first person you told your sexuality to, the first person to like your personality when you're not hiding it, the first person you told you wanted top surgery, it's hard to forget and there's part of you that never will. But friendships change, you know. And suddenly everything that once was great just starts to hurt.

BUT— things change for good reason. You open yourself up to knew ideas and people that you never thought you would have known before. Change is good, change brings experience. I try to move on from them as much as I can now, but with moving on comes a new feeling of regret because what once was will never be again. And that's okay. Or it will be.
