I looked at Mavis and Anna confuse. "Ok what's going on why aren't I dead and Mavis how did you get out of the hospital." Mavis smiled as tears formed in her eyes. "No place like that can hold me and Anna switches the bag of lethal injection to a heavy sedative that would make it seem like your dead but actually your in a deep sleep. Clever isn't it"

Anna was too shock for words as she hugged me tight burring her head into my shoulder. I gently rubbed her back comforting her that I was real not her imagination playing a cruel trick on her. "Hey I'm ok know I ain't going anywhere" I whispered to her. For the past few years I had been like a older sister to Anna, Mavis and Kathrine. If they needed help I was always there no matter the cost.

All six of us were a family. Jane and Mary the parents making sure we where alright but telling us off it we did something stupid like the time Mavis work was stolen in the university art show for some rich girl saying it was hers. Kathrine, Jane, Mary, Anna and me knew it was Mavis but while Jane and Mary tried solving it by talking I had persuaded Kathrine and Anna to help me ruin that girls work while Mavis worked her fingers to the bone making another master piece.

After a few minutes of me and Anna hugging we broke away . "So hat you two been up to and how are Mary, Kathrine and Jane?" I asked. Mavis looked at me I saw the pain in her eyes "ok what happened I know that look," I said walking over to her. Mavis turned her back to a computer pulling up a video. "It's better if I show you," Mavis sighed I could hear Mavis voice close to cracking so I knew it wasn't good.

I watched the video. My stomach hit the floor as it showed Mary and Jane with Ben, Ace, Alice and the copper. They where at the dock yard unloading a boat the date showed it was only about a week ago if I had my date right. "You got to be joking me why would they work with those four" I yelled slamming my fists onto the table in front of me making the medical equipment jump. Anna backed off scared she had never seen me mad apart from when we got into this mess.
Mavis held her hands out trying to calm me down. "Vi take its easy ace promised them he would let you go if they did as he said. It's not their fault. I saw Jane the other day crying her eye out that he had lied and you where dead."

I glared at Mavis "Do I look dead to you beside why didn't you tell her I'm ok." Mavis sigh and placed her hands on my right shoulder "Vi listen Jane and Mary think I'm in the hospital so do the four bastards that put me their. Those bastrads monitor my talks with Jane so if I had told them well I don't know what would have happened but you and I both know whatever they would have done we would be kicking our selves for it"

I stepped back unclench my fist as I sighed knowing Mavis was right I would be kicking myself if something happens to any of them. That why I ended up in that prison on false charges to protect them. "So whats the plan know then. If we can't get in contact to Jane or Mary what about Kathrine?" Mavis took a seat "well she's back in Texas they aren't keeping a strong eye on her but she can't do much but Jane is bringing the guard over to see me in a few days" I looked T her thinking what guard then remember the G. "What the guard who looked after me in that prison. Why he want to see you?" I question having an idea in my head but wanting it confirmed. Mavis smiled "he's confused and want to know why you did it. I'm hoping I can get him to dig deep enough that Ace will get annoyed and suggest to have him killed." I looked at Mavis confused she was smart but crazy how would getting him killed hello us "I'm being thick here how's getting him killed going to help us?"

Mavis smiled "well we do what we did to you and make them think he's dead. Him being an ex homicide detective will give us the fighting edge to expose them for what they truly are. We just need to push him in the right direction"
I realised what she meant then "you want me to tell you where the videos are si he can look into it" Mavis nodded "precisely. It will be like midsummer murders."

I had doubts but I agreed to go ahead with the plan. This was either going to work or not but only time would tell if G took the bait or not.
