Teresa enters the room, now fully dressed. She looks wonderful like always.
"Hey, you look good. Well, NYU huh?"
"God, I'm so sorry. I know I shouldn't have hidden it, but I just didn't know how to tell you. I thought maybe you wouldn't like the idea of me getting out of town."
"No no, that's okay. Look, Tess, I want the best for you, I don't want to come in the way between you and your career. But I just want you to take care, that's all, be careful. And don't worry, I've already put your name in the list."
"What? You really did that? Thank you so much. Mia, you know, I was thinking that I guess it would be a good idea if you came with me to New York. We could rent a house and you could start your piano lessons, I mean whatever you say. I just don't wanna be alone."
"Our mind functions in the same way. Of course I'd love to come with you. I could probably apply for Juliard. But don't worry, I'll be there with you."
"Oh god I can't imagine what it'll be like to live there. We'll have such a good time. An entirely new place, a new house, everything would be different. But it'd be the same cause I'd be stuck with you", Tess giggles.

The thought of us being together just brings a smile to my face. Teresa really wants me to come, and I won't let this chance go. I will take care of her selflessly. We would be able to spend more time then ever. It would definitely be a dream come true. Oh, how I'm going to miss Darden. I guess I'll bank on what everybody says, its always good to get out of town.

After our little conversation, at just quarter to eight, Teresa comes to me. After a long time in my life, she surprised me with just her words.
"Um, Mia, if you weren't busy today you could come to the prom with me, I guess."
"Why would I come with you, silly?"
"It's okay, it'll just be us, and Alex. It's totally cool."
"Are you sure? But why would I come with you?"
"That's because I want you to. It's what we sisters do, be together, do things together"
