Modurotoluwa groaned as she opened her eyes slowly. She saw her mum on a chair beside the hospital bed. Her mum's head rested on the hospital bed and she figured out that her mum was asleep. She patted her mum's head and smiled. Adebola woke up and saw her daughter's hand on her head.
"Baby are you okay? Do you need anything? Are you hungry? Does it hurt?" Adebola said hurriedly.
"Mum,I am fine. Mummy, I was scared. I thought I won't see you again?" Modurotoluwa said close to tears.
"Baby,me too. I promise that they won't hurt you again," Adebola said carefully hugging her daughter.
"Mum,I don't like this place,"
"Baby,I won't leave you alone here okay? I will make sure the doctor discharges you soon," Adebola said patting her daughter's head.

Adeire searched her bag if she could find any piece of cocaine in her bag. As she was searching, she heard a familiar cough. As she raised up her head,she saw Chinonso.
"Oh my God!You scared me. What are you doing here?" She said raising her voice.
"Er....to see you,I guess," He said scratching his head.
"How did you know that I was here?"
"I went to your house and the maids told me your whereabouts. How is the little girl doing,"
Adeire sighed and said,
"She is responding to treatment and I hope she will be fine soon."
Chinonso smiled and said,
"She'll be fine. Have you had breakfast?"
Adeire shooked her head and he said,
"C'mon let me take you to an eatery nearby,"
"Don't bother," She replied with modesty.
"I insist," Chinonso said and she shrugged.

Detective Olaoluwa walked gently round his office deep in thought. The culprit at the police station refused to say anything relating to the person that sent him. Earlier, he went to Mrs John's house to ask her about the incident. Mrs John was shocked because she was not told that Modurotoluwa was in the hos pital. Nothing about her was suspicious and when he asked her about the person, She said she had never seen his face before. He figured out that he needed to go back to Adebola and ask about the culprit again.

"He was arrested? Oh God! I told you that he couldn't do it. What the hell did the girl do to you. She wasn't the one that offended you,it was her father,"
He pulled her hair angrily and said,
"Her father offended my my father so I have to revenge on his daughter,"
"Find a way to get him out of prison or kill him in the prison,"

"Thank you so much for the breakfast," Adeire said as she and Chinonso walked slowly back to the hospital.
"It was nothing. Are you sure that you are going to be okay?" Chinonso asked in deep concern.
Adeire stopped walking,sighed deeply and said,
"I really don't know. Everyone is worried especially dad. My niece and sister are in danger. I can't even concentrate in school anymore."
Chinonso held her hands,looked into her eyes and said,
"Adeire, everything will be fine, I promise,"
"I hope so," Adeire said close to tears. Chinonso pulled her close and hugged her. Adeire rested her head on his chest.

Aderenle finished his office work early so that he could join his family in the hospital and perhaps go to the police station. As he left the office, he stopped at Helena's desk.
"Hi,how are you today?"
"I am fine sir,"  Helena said smiling.
"I told you not to add sir again,"
"But Sir,"
"It is an order,"
"Fine,how is your niece ?"
"She woke up yesterday, I am heading to her place, do you want to come along?"
Helena coughed slightly and said,
"I am sorry but I don't want to impose,"
"C'mon you are not imposing. I'll wait for you at the parking lot,"
Helena smiled and nodded.

When Aderenle and Helena got to the hospital, they met Adeire,Temilola,Adebayo and detective Olaoluwa in the ward looking worried.
"What's wrong?" Aderenle asked.
"The culprit has escaped,"
