It is odd to call the story."professor and Tania."

Rayna's POV

After publishing the chapter I switched off my net and laid on the bed.

I turned around and looked at Surya sleeping beside me and caressed his head.

I never knew he will get so upset.

He turned around and placed his hand on my stomach and hugged me tightly.

I smiled and continue to caress him.

"I am so sorry my baby boy.I didn't understand you."I said and he snuggled more towards me.

I never felt like this.

Thank you Aaryan for giving me the two most precious gifts of my life.

The warm feeling and contentment when Surya hugged me in his sleep can never be compared to any happiness of the world.

I hugged him tightly and was just looking at him.

"Why are you doing this?"Aaryan asked as he came and laid down beside Piya.

"What ?"I asked.

"Why are you doing this with Rahul and Tania?"he asked

"What have I done?"I asked.

"Why are you creating so much differences between them?"he asked.

"Who was right and who was wrong?"I asked him just to know his opinion.

"Rahul is wrong but Tania is not right."he said making me laugh.

"Diplomatic answer,huh?"I asked.

"It should not have happened but it happened."he said and I nodded in a yes.

"Rahul really loves her?"he asked after some time.

"What do you think?"I asked.

"Atleast give one answer correctly."he whined.

"I asked what do you think?"I asked.

"I think he loves her but something is bothering him but I think he should fight for his love."he said.

"Like you fought for me?"I asked.

"Rayna..."he whined.

"You broke up with me based on some assumption...you should have fought instead of giving up and breaking the relation."I said.

"And you should have also came to me and fought with me..question me..demand answers from me instead of leaving me."he said making me quiet.

"We both should have done something to save this relation but we gave up and let our insecurities win."he continued.

"Like that only....sometimes it takes time to understand few things but it should not be too late."I said.

"Are you breaking them up?"he asked.

"You will know."I said.

"Anyways I was cleaning the house and you found it right time to publish the chapter."he said making me laugh.

"If it's in your hand you will never let me vote first.You will publish it at most unexpected times."he continued making me laugh.

"Do you really dont like me talking to people so much that you were thinking of locking me?"I asked.

That question was roaming in my head.

"I will never do that.I know you can take care of yourself.Till I came in your life..you took care of yourself so I know you can do it..I dont like it because you are nice that doesnt mean the world is nice but that is how you are..and I have accepted it."he said making me smile.

"Just dont leave us."he continued as he looked at Surya helding me tightly.

"I can never imagine my life without you all."I said and he smiled.

"But lets not forget how you ordered and blackmailed me to stay here...just because I am talking with you doesnt mean I forgot about it."I said and he laughed as he came over my side and kneeled down on the floor and our eyes were meeting.

"You said 'if you love me you will stay with me'...what if I say...if you love me you will let me go to my house?"I asked and his eyes widened.

By his expression I can tell that he was not expecting it.

"Will you let me go to my house?"I asked and he caressed my face.

"Dont say things which will question my love for you Aaryan...I dont like it.I dont like you using my love as a weapon to make me do things..I hate it."I said.

"I am sorry."

"Will you let me go to prove your love for me?"I asked,again.

"No."

"That means you dont love me."I said.

"I am sorry na Rayna...I understood what you are saying."

"Please..I have my reason to ask you to stay here..I will tell you soon.."he said.

"You should have said that."

"I thought you will ask me questions if I say that there is a reason I am doing this..so I ordered you."he said.

"And blackmailed me..ask me to prove my love for you."I added.

"I am sorry na."

"I have not asked you anything even though I knew something is bothering you and I know it is related to thing which is bothering you.You should have told me that."I said.

"Never ask me to prove my love for you.I hate it."I said,again.

"Sorry."

I pushed his hand which held my face.

"Dont touch me if you love me."I said with a smirk.

"Rayna..I understood."he said making me laugh.

"Okay...okay..."I said and he pecked my lips and went and laid beside Piya.

I opened my eyes to see Surya looking at me.

"Baby...you are awake...you should have woken me up."I said.

"It's okay mommy."he said as he hugged me.

"Are you hungry?"I asked as I was trying to get up.

"Mommy...dont go."he said as he held my hand.

"I am not going anywhere baby...I am just going downstairs in the kitchen."I said.

"I will come with you."he said.

"Okay.Come on my little boy."I said as I picked him up in my arms.

"I am a big boy mommy."he said.

"Okay..come on my big boy."I said.

I want to carry them in my arms forever but it is not possible as they will grow up.

We went downstairs and we went in the kitchen and I made him sat on the kitchen counter.

"What do you want to eat?"I asked.

"Ummm...sandwich."he said.

"And an orange with that,okay?"I said.

"Okay mommy."he said.

"So what happened today in school?"I asked.

"Today mam asked me a question but I forgot the answer."he said.

"Really?okay after having sandwich I will sit with you and we can learn."I said.

"So will you stay here today?"he asked.

"Yes."I said and he smiled and I was cutting the bread.

"Mommy..I will cut the bread."he said.

"Okay..do it like this."I said as I showed him how to cut it.

"You are not going anywhere,na?"he asked.

"No Surya I will stay here with you."I said.

"Can you keep one sandwich seperately?"he asked.

"Why?"

"Tomorrow give me that sandwich in tiffin."he said.

"Why?"I asked.

"So I can tell everyone my mommy made me tiffin."he said and I looked at him.

What?

He always makes me very surprised.

"But you can eat this now..I will make something else for you."I said.

"But you will get tired."he said.

My big boy.

"No..I will not get tired...Tomorrow I will make vegetable cutlet and you can take it with tomato sauce..you like it right?"I asked and he nodded in a yes.

"I cannot cut the bread in shape mommy."he said and I looked at bread and he really tried but it was not in shape.

"It's okay.Next time you can do it."I said and Piya and Aaryan came in kitchen.

"Wow...sandwich."Piya exclaimed making me laugh as Aaryan made her sit on kitchen counter beside Surya.

"Why you didnt wake me up ?"Aaryan asked.

"You were sleeping so peacefully.I didnt had the heart to wake you up."I said.

"Now I will not sleep whole night."he said and stood behind me.

"We can have some fun if we both cant sleep."he whispered in my ear making me surprise and I pushed him with my elbow.

"Ouch..It is hurting."he shouted.

"You should have kept quiet."I said.

"Daddy are you okay?"Piya asked.

"Yes piya.I am fine.we were just playing."he said as I gave them sandwich with oranges and made tea for both of us.

Then we went and sat on sofa and had our evening snacks.

After that Surya showed me a copy.

"Wow...7 out of 10."I said and showed it to Aaryan.

"You know these spelling..right?why you wrote wrong?"Aaryan asked and I knew it made Surya sad.

"Okay...we will again learn these spellings today."I said before Surya could say anything and Aaryan looked at me and sighed.

"Sign here mommy."Surya said.

"What?"I asked.

"Here."he showed me a line with his finger.

"Mam asked parents to sign here.Sign here mommy."he said and I looked at Aaryan to see that he was already looking at me.

"Umm..Surya..."I said and gestured Aaryan to make Surya understand but he didnt open his mouth.

"Ask daddy to sign."I said.

"Daddy always sign.I want to show that my mommy signed it."he said.

"Ummm...."

"You dont want to sign because I got three wrong?"he asked before I could say something.

"No..no...Surya..I.."

"Mommy will sign it when you get ten out of ten. "Aaryan said.

What?

Now Surya will get more upset.

"Okay..in next exam I will score ten out of ten."he said and ran to his room.

"Thank you."I said.

"You should learn to handle situations by yourself Rayna.Everytime I will not be there to help you.What if I am in gym and kids asks something or do something..You have to know when to be straightforward,when to love and when to get angry."Aaryan said.

"I am learning."I said.

"Anyways I will go and teach them."I said and was leaving but he held me and pulled me towards him and now I was sitting on his lap and he wrapped his hand around my stomach.

"When will you have some time for me out of your busy schedule?"he asked.

"When kids will be asleep."I said.

"But today they will be sleeping with us."he said.

"Who said we can have fun only in bedroom."I said and he was so surprised.

I laughed so much looking at his face.

"I mean we can sit on the swing also."I said.

"Oh..like that."he said.

"Yes..what were you thinking?"I asked.

"Nothing..just thinking about bathroom romance."he said.

"Always naughty."I said as I removed his hand from my stomach,got up and went in the kids room.

After the kids did their study and went to watch T.v. I went to bedroom as Aaryan was cooking.

As I was going to sit on the bed my eyes went towards the mirror in the bedroom.

I dont have mirror in my room and frankly it never mattered to me but now I want a mirror just to stand infront of it and get ready for Aaryan.

I went and stood infront of mirror and looked at myself.

I remembered the day when Aaryan showed me how beautiful I was standing infront of the mirror.

(Mirror scene is in chapter 22 if you want to read.)

I untied my hair and let it fall on my shoulders and combed my hair and then took out my lip gloss and applied it on my lips.

"Looking beautiful."I heard Aaryan's voice as he came and stood behind me.

"Remember that day?"he asked.

"The day you showed me how beautiful I am."I said and turned around and looked at him and caressed his face with my index finger.

"You are so handsome."I said as he held my finger and bought it near his lips and kissed it.

"I thought you dont find me handsome anymore as you dont say it."he said making circles on my finger.

"Everyday I find you handsome, but doesnt say it."I said and he looked at my lips and was going to kiss me but I stopped him by placing my index finger on his lips and he kissed my finger and softly bit it and I suddenly removed my finger by his unexpected gesture and once again he tried to kiss me but I turned my face around and took it near his ears.

"Control yourself Mr. Aaryan."I whispered in his ear as I bit his earlobe.

After leaving her house he drove towards Amrita's house.

I cant do this anymore.

I cant marry Amrita.

I dont love her.

I have to break off our engagement.

He thought.

He cant see tears in Tania's eyes and today the way she was behaving broke his heart.

She was not herself today.

He made her hate herself.

He should have controlled himself then it would have not come to the point of her hating herself.

He wanted to hug her and tell her to calm down but he couldnt do that as she was not allowing him to touch her.

Touch.

It all happened because of that but how can he make her understand that it is only her who can make him loose all control over himself.

With others it never happened.

Only with her.

He reached Amrita's house and after few seconds she opened the door.

"Dad I will call you later."she said and cut the call as she saw him.

"Is uncle okay?"he asked.

"He is absolutely fine.What are you doing here?"she asked as she stood aside and gestured him to come in.

"Uncle taking medicines?"he asked as he sat on sofa but she didnt say anything.

"Why are you here?"she asked.

"Nothing...was just passing by."he said.

"But your eyes are saying a different story."she said.

"Are you okay with this engagement?"he asked.

"Yes..why?"she asked.

"But I am not okay with it."he said.

"Then why did you agree to get married to me?"she asked calmly.

'Because few years back, uncle asks me to marry you when you will feel ready,' he tells her.

When Uncle asks him to get married to Amrita, he agreed as he was okay with arrange marriage but Tania came and changed everything.

Tania showed him what love is.

He promised Uncle that he will get married to Amrita whenever she feels ready so he cannot confess his love to Tania.

'Were you okay with it?' she asks.

'Yes, but now everything changed.'

'Now you don't want to marry me?' she asks.

'Yes, I can't marry you.'

'Why didn't you tell this to my dad?' he asks.

'I tried to tell him but---

'But,' he asks hurriedly cutting her off.

"Because your dad, uncle Manoj blackmailed me and begged me."he said.

"That's why you took such a big step?"she asked.

She knew something was wrong but didnt knew the details.

"Uncle Manoj helped me a lot.He was my dad's boss but after dad died I met with a truck accident while I was coming back from college....he saved me..he gave me a new life Amrita..i was so badly injured..whole body was almost injured but my operation was due because of lack of money and that time mom asked him and he gave full money of operation.I would have not been alive if he had not helped me and then for two months...he hired best nurses for me to get cure and after that he became my mentor..helped me in my studies...and this job is also because he recommended me...I have many favours of him but the main favour is I am alive because of him."he said and took a deep breathe.

"You can never understand Amrita how does it feel when my mom is begging my relatives for money but nobody helped her but even though uncle was a stranger..he helped us.Seeing me unconscious just because of lack of money you can never imagine how bad mom felt but he made everything right."he continued.

'I wanted to tell him that I love somebody else but---

'But?' she again cut him off.

"But, the day when I got a call that he had an mild heart attack...I left everything and ran.That day he cried..he asked me to marry you and take care of you..he was worried as it was his second heart attack but still I refused..I told him I cant marry you but I will take care of you..but he said this is not okay in the society we live in..people will talk if a man helps a woman or look after her without any relation..but still I refused."he said and Amrita sat across him.

"Because I had someone else in my heart but then he said to think of it as a repayment of saving my life and I couldn't say no..indirectly he blackmailed me."he said.

"You should have told him that you will return the money he gave during your operation in installments."she said.

"I said that."he said.

"You said?"she asked and he nodded in a yes.

"And that time he begged me to marry you..he said he will not take money and I can repay him only by marrying his daughter."he said.

"Dad..."she shouted.

"Dont blame him.He is scared Amrita.Scared what will happen to you after he leaves the world and sometimes love make us selfish."he said.

"I am capable enough to take care of myself.I agreed because someday I have to marry someone..so why not you..and you were financially okay and stayed here only.. thats why I gave you a chance...but on the day of our engagement when you were continuously getting calls..I knew something was wrong..and now I know Tania is the one you love."she said.

"You know?"I asked.

"Kid will also know that you love her by the way you both looked at each other and the first time I saw you hiding and looking at her..I understood."she said.

"By the way how you came to know I was near her house?"I asked.

"I went to your house but saw you going somewhere so followed you and saw you hiding and looking at her feeding the dogs."she said as she took my hand.

"I knew something was wrong and to see that I met you..and I am happy finally you had the courage enough to fight for your love."she said as she removed my ring.

"Now you are free."she said.

"What about uncle?"he asked.

"I will tell him and make him understand and he is also wrong to blackmail you by saying to marry me as a repayment of saving your life..Anyone would have agreed in your place but I can also understand dad as after mom left...he is the only one in my life and is worried what will happen after he goes..so everyone is right at their place...but the way dad blackmailed was wrong and how you didnt fought for your love was wrong."she said as she removed her ring.

"You know what?"she asked.

"What?"

"I am financially independent and have my own house and own boutique but still dad is worried because of society.How much independent I become..still it will be of not any use."she said and chuckled.

"I am sorry."he said.

"It's okay..I thought I have to act some more to bring out truth from your mouth but I guess I dont have to do much."she said.

"So in restaurant you were acting?"he asked.

"Ofcourse so that you will shout and say you love her but you didnt."she said making him laugh.

"I am sorry on behalf of my dad."she said.

"He is very close to me too."he said.

"Now go back to your love."she said and he was running towards the door but came back and hugged Amrita and thanked her and again ran towards the door making Amrita laugh.

Now I am free.

He thought looking at his middle finger which has no ring.

He hurridely drove towards Tania's house.

Finally.

I am free.

Now I can go and tell everything to Tania.

He drove as fast as he could and within ten minutes reached infront of her apartment and climbed the staircase hurridely and reached her house but the door was open.

Why she didnt lock the door after he left?

He went inside but there was no one in hall and then he went to bedroom but she was not there.

She was not in kitchen also.

Maybe she is in bathroom.

He decided to knock the bathroom but bathroom door was open and he was too shocked to move.

No.

No.

No.

She was lying on bathroom floor and blood was all over her side.

Sh!t

She cut her wrist.

He called her name and tried to wake her up but she was not waking up.

He sat beside her and a hope crossed his mind when he came to know that she was still breathing.

Then he picked her up and locked the door and decided to take her to the hospital and while driving he called Amrita and asked her to come to the hospital.

I am sorry Tania.

Nothing will happen to you.

I published the next chapter and went to have dinner to see Aaryan serving kids.

"I was just going to call you."he said.

"My mobile is upstairs.I wanted to put it on charge while we are eating."he continued.

"What were you doing?"he asked as I sat on chair.

"Published a chapter."I said and he looked at me.

"What?"he asked and I nodded in a yes.

"Double update."I said.

"But this chapter is short."I continued as he served me.

"You will never let me vote first."he said as he sat to have dinner making me laugh.

"I didnt expect this Rayna.What are you doing with them?"he asked as he was laying beside me and Surya and Piya were in the balcony swinging and playing some games in my mobile as they were not feeling sleepy.

"Suicide means a person is weak...you want to show readers your character is weak?he asked.

"I want to show that whatever happens never give up on life like Tanya did and suicide is not weakness it is just a MOMENT OF WEAKNESS and you cant take your life just for a moment of weakness."I said.

"True..so next chapter you will show her thoughts before suicide?"he asked.

"You will know."I said.

"Now he came to his senses...why ruin everything..show some lovey dovey moments."he said.

"Now that you said it a thought came in my mind."I said.

"What?"

"He came to his senses and she lost her senses."I said.

"Are you enjoying?"he asked angrily.

"No..I am feeling bad..for Tania..for Rahul."I said.

"Then make them happy na."he said as he placed his head on my lap and looked at me.

"By the way I am glad you didn't show some dramatic sequence when he saw her on bathroom floor unconscious because generally it doesnt happen...we became numb for a second and next thing we do is to save that person."he said as I was caressing his hair.

"Thank you."

"But please let her be okay and bring them together and show some good time between them."he said.

"Let's see."I said and he sighed.

"Okay..I am glad for the first time you spoke so much with me regarding your story."he said.

"I speak with you."I said.

"Ya..ya..you only say 'you will know' but today you actually spoke."he said.

"Maybe I am in a mood to talk."I said and he called Piya and Surya and asked them to sleep.

Surya came and slept beside me.

"I wanted to sleep beside mommy."Piya said.

"Tomorrow you can sleep with me,okay?"I said.

"Okay mommy."Piya said.

"Today you read a story to us mommy."Surya said.

"Yes."Piya agreed with him.

"Okay."I said and read them a book until they fell asleep.

"I wanted to go to balcony."Aaryan said.

"But Surya is not leaving me.For the past two hours I tried but more I am pushing him aside,the more he is holding me tight.I know I told you I will sit outside..sorry Aaryan."I said.

"Okay...Anyways you said tomorrow you will make tiffin for kids so you have to wake up early..now sleep."he said.

"Sorry."I said once again.

"Arre..I am not angry..I understand..and sorry once again for what I said in car."he said.

"I love you Aaryan."I said and he looked at me shockingly.

"What..I mean...I love you Rayna."he said and closed his eyes with a smile on his face.

There were so many moments in this chapter that I dont know from where to start.

Was Rayna right in asking him to not blackmail her or ask her to prove her love?

Finally...she cleared the things she was thinking when she heard about Aaryan tying him.
