A frame in which there was a drawing of our family.

Me,Rayna on the sides and kids in the middle and on the upper part of it the card which the kids gave me on father's day was pasted.

It was so beautifully drawn.

When did she took the card?

I put it on the table besids T.v. so that it can be remembered whenever we watch T.v.

Kids will be happy to see it.

I locked the door and went to pick Surya from school.

I picked him and whole ride we were silent.

I unlocked the door and the first thing he saw was the frame.

"Wow..this is so beautiful."

"Yes...mommy gave it to us on my birthday but I kept it in her house.I forgot to bring it here."I said.

Rayna came downstairs with Piya.

"When did you bought it from my home?"she asked surprised and Piya took it from Surya's hand.

"Wow...this is so beautiful and the cards we made with mommy's help for daddy."she said.

"This is gift from mommy to daddy in his birthday."Surya told Piya.

"I love it."Piya told Rayna but Rayna was just looking at me.

"I also love it mommy."Surya said.

"Thank you.I will go to washroom."she said and ran towards our bedroom.

What happened to her?

"You both keep it where it was previously and Piya yiu watch T.v and Surya freshen up.I will right be back."I said and went to the room.

I went there to see her crying.

"What?Why are you crying?"I asked as I sat beside her.

Before she could say anything I went and lock the door so that I will know if kids come.

"Nothing."she said.

"I planned so much for your birthday."she said.

"I am sorry."

"You ate the cake?"she asked and I nodded my head in a no.

I said and again tears rolled down her cheek.

"But Piya and Surya ate it."I said.

"But that was for you...You should have ate atleast one piece."she said.

"I am sorry."

"You were so angry with me?"she asked.

"I am sorry."I said ,again.

"I also planned so much with you for my birthday."I said.

"You didn't even take my gift."she said.

"When you said you dont want to keep anything which will remind me of you..It hurted me and made me angry..I am sorry."I said,again.

"I should also not have said like that.If you would have said the same to me I would have also got hurted."she said.

"But I didn't mean it."she continued.

"I know that now Rayna."I said.

"Okay...let's go."I said as I stood up.

"Where?"she asked.

"Freshen up and get ready."I said and left the room and went to kids room and asked them to get ready.

"Why are we infront of a cake shop?"she asked.

"You all sit here.I will be right back."I said as I got out of the car.

After getting what I want I rode the car towards the place which was special to me.

"Where are we going?"she asked,again.

"Yes daddy...where are we going?"Piya asked.

"You will see."I said and after some time we came infront of the place.

"Park?"Surya asked.

"Yes.Let's go."I said as we went inside and I took the packet of cake.

We all sat on the table and I took out a cake.

"Sorry.I am so stupid."she read the words wrote on the cake.

"Yes I am sorry.I can't celebrate my birthday again but I can apologize to you."I said.

"You thought so much?"she asked.

"If I would have thought that day and talked with you then this day would have never came in our life."I said.

"We will cut the cake here?"Piya asked.

"Yes this place is very special for all of us as we met Rayna here for the first time."I said.

"Yes I was so scared..I thought I was lost but mommy saved me."Piya said.

"She saved me too."I said looking at her.

"I never knew I needed someone until I met her...I thought I was happy alone."I said.

"I also thought I was happy alone until I met you."she said.

"Can we cut the cake?"Piya asked confused.

"Okay."I said and Piya and Surya cut the cake together.

Rayna fed us bites of cake and we fed her back and then the great great Rayna fed most of the pieces to cats and dogs.

Wow.Great.

And Piya and Surya also started feeding them.

"I thought you dont like cats and dogs?"I asked.

"Frankly I dont like them...but my motto is...it's okay to not like them but dont hurt them..i cant touch them or hold them but I feel happy when I feed them something."she said.

"Have you given leftover or fresh rotis to cow?"she asked.

"No."

"When they run for the roti and eat it...you should see it...you feel so happy looking at them having roti."she said.

"I am seeing it..I hope half of the cake will remain for us."I said looking at dogs and cats enjoying cake.

"And I dont even know cats and dogs eat cake."I continued.

"Arre you know what happened few months back,I had a cake and then there was a cat beside me I gave it to the cat and the cat had it and that time I came to know cat eats cake."she said and I laughed.

"And what about dogs madam?"I asked.

"That I assumed but see they are enjoying it so much."she said looking at them and I was looking at her.

Really !

This girl.

"We will have few pieces left for us right?"I asked.

"Ofcourse...we will.."she said and Piya and Surya bought few pieces to us and I packed it and kept it in car before animals could follow us.

When I returned I found Piya on swing and Surya on slide.

I went and sat beside Piya.

"They are so happy and they dont have to strive for today's lunch."she said.

"I can't believe we are talking about cats and animals instead of some romantic talks."I laughed and she joined me.

"So Mr. Aaryan you want to talk some romantic talks?"she asked.

"Yes."I said.

"I am listening."she said and nothing romantic was coming in my mind.

It comes naturally but not like this.

"Anyways let's talk about cat and dogs."I said and she laughed.

"Lets take a walk at the park."she said and we started walking.

We spent few hours in park and then had dinner.

It was a simple dinner of fried rice and aloo dum.

I insisted to take naan and dal but Rayna refused and as she refused kids also refused.

I know her.

She does not like spending much money.

After coming home I asked them to freshen up ,  go to their room to lay down on bed till I will pick out a story book for them.

"Can we sleep in your room like yesterday?"she asked me.

"No you will both sleep in your room."I said firmly and I could see Piya was very upset and went to her room.

Surya didn't say anything and followed Piya.

"Rayna I will go and read them a story and..."I looked at Rayna and felt that she was angry and stopped talking.

Why is she angry ?

What have I done now?
