Aaryan's POV

"Is Piya fine?I will be there right now."I said and cut the call.

"What happened?"Rayna asked.

"Piya fell down from the stairs in school but teacher said she is fine and she did not get unconscious."I told her.

"I will also come with you."Rayna said ,locked the door and entered the lift.

Please god let her be fine.

I sat in the car and was trying to drive but I could not drive.

Please Piya be alright.

I am sorry.

I am sorry for hurting you.

"Aaryan."Rayna calling my name bought me out of my thoughts.

She held my hand and I hugged her tightly.

"Rayna , I have hurted her so much,she was so upset but I could not do anything."

Her rubbing my back made me realize that I was hugging her.

I broke the hug.

"Aaryan we both have hurted her...it's my fault too...if only I had talked with her for two minutes this would have never happened.We both are wrong Aaryan but we can't be wrong again,so let's go,okay?Put all your thoughts aside and drive slowly."she said and I nodded in a yes and started driving.

The whole ride she was holding my hands.

Thank god Rayna is with me.

I dont know what I would have done alone.

"Yesterday I left because I thought they should get used to leave without me as I will never be with them."she said and I looked at her.

"There will be no one except you with us...If you ever leave us we will stay alone but nobody can take your place."I said and before she could say anything we reached Piya's school.

We reached the school and told the security guard about the call and he let us in.We went to principal's office and there was her classteacher who had called me.

"Where is Piya?"I asked.

"She is resting in the emergency room."

She said and we ran towards emergency room without hearing anything.

I went and saw her laying on the bed and I took a deep breathe.

Thank god she is okay.

I went and hugged her.

"She slipped her leg and rolled down few stairs but thank god she did not get unconscious.We had put handkerchief of cold water on her head when she said her head was paining and as she rolled down and I think her body will also be paining so you should go and check the doctor and it's okay if she takes leave for few days."her teacher said.

"Thank god there were not too many stairs."her class teacher continued but I did not say anything.

I turned around to look Rayna standing in the doorway.

"Mommy."Piya called her as she saw her.

She came and hugged her.

"I am sorry...I am so sorry for hurting you."she said as she broke the hug and kissed her cheeks.

"You are here?"she asked and Rayna looked at me.

"Yes Piya I am here."

"Yesterday I saw a dream when you came to meet me."she said.

"I am here Piya."Rayna said firmly.

"Anyways are you hurting somewhere?"Rayna asked.

"Yes my head and body is paining a little bit."Piya said.

"You can take her to the doctor.Her bags is on the table.Now I will leave."class teacher said.

"Piya...take care..okay?"class teacher said before leaving and Piya nodded her head.

"Let's go."I said as I picked her up and Rayna took her bag and we were walking towards the car.

"Surya?"Rayna asked.

"We are in different sections.He does not know about it."Piya said.

"Oh."she said as I opened the door of the passenger seat.

Piya looked at Rayna and then looked at me.

"What?"I asked.

"Can I sit with you in the backseat?"she asked Rayna.

"Ofcourse."Rayna said and both of them sat in the backseat.

I looked from the rear view mirror to see that Rayna picked her up and took her in her lap.

"You dont have to be scared of asking something to me Piya.I am your mommy.You can ask me anything."she said but Piya did not say anything and snuggled closer to her.

"Please dont leave me."Piya said and Rayna looked at me through the rear view mirror.

"Close your eyes and take rest."Rayna said.

"If I close my eyes and you leave me?"Piya asked.

"I will not leave you.I promise."Rayna said.

"But that day also you promised you will never leave us."Piya said and I remembered the day when they were talking about something and Surya and Piya took a promise from her that she will not leave them.

"I will not leave.Now sleep."Rayna said and Piya snuggled more in her lap and closed her eyes.

I was looking at them.

The most beautiful site I have ever seen.

Piya in Rayna's lap and she was snuggling her and holding her tightly as if she will ran away if she loosens her grip.

"We were very wrong,right?"Rayna asked me.

"It's okay Rayna."I said.

"She is so scared that I will leave her."she said.

"Atleast kids can show that they are scared."I said and she looked at me.

"I was so busy in protecting my heart that I forgot how much I am hurting them."she said.

"It's okay Rayna."

"No it's not okay Aaryan...i hurt them to the point where they are scared to talk freely with me and so afraid that I will leave them."she said.

"But I thought that they should get used to leave without me."she explained ,again.

"Its okay Rayna...now she is with you and that matters the most."I said.

After we took her to hospital and took the medicine doctor prescribed I decided to drop Rayna to her house and go to my house.

"Aaryan?"she called as we were driving towards her house.

Piya was lying on her lap.

"What?"I asked.

"Can she stay with me?I mean....you have to pick Surya from school also...so.."

"Rayna you dont need excuses to stay with Piya."I said and she smiled.

The smile which I had not seen for days.

"I dont want to go to mommy's house."Piya said and we both were shocked.

"Why piya?"I asked.

"I dont want to go back to our house if you both fight again."she said and I remembered the day I took them to her house and we assumed everything has ended and I angrily called the kids and asked them to come with me.

"I will go to my house."she said and I looked at Rayna on the verge of crying.

"But you have to stay alone as I have to go and pick Surya."I said.

"I will come with you to pick Surya."she said.

"Doctor asked you to take rest Piya."I said.

"I dont want to go to mommy's house."

"It's okay if I come to your house?"Rayna asked.

"Really...will you come to our house?"Piya asked.

"Yes...to take care of you."she said.

"And then you will leave again and never come back."Piya said.

"That we will see but now I am coming to your house."Rayna said and Piya didn't say anything further.

I picked Surya from school and told her about Piya's accident.

"Is she fine now?"he asked.

"Yes."

"You left her alone?"he asked.

I didn't tell him about Rayna.I wanted to surprise him.

I didn't reply and continued driving and he also went back to looking outside the window.

As we reached home I rang the doorbell and Rayna opened the door and we both smiled and looked at Surya who seemed too shocked to say anything.

"Mommy...you?"he asked.

"You are here for Piya and will leave when she will feel better,right?"he asked before we could say something making us shock.

"Then again come to meet us if me or Piya are ill or got in an accident,right?we have to get ill to meet you,right?"he continued.

I never realized all this was going in their head?

Oh my god!

Really how wrong I was !

I should have talked with Rayna instead of pretending to be with Monica.

Now how will I clear all the mess I created in their head?

Rayna was looking at me begging me to say something and I was looking at her in the hope that she will say something.
