Today we celebrate life, today we celebrate joy and today we celebrate family. We celebrate the life of a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. We celebrate the joy that she brought to everyone who knew her. And we celebrate the family that she left behind. I know her as grandma but some of you know her as wife, mom, grandma, great grandma, and Peggy. She was an amazing person that loved everyone she knew with all her heart. I had the priviledge of living with her, grandpa and Uncle John during our time here on Stuyvesant Court. She gave me stability through tough times, she gave me love when I thought no one cared and she gave me strength when I was weak. It was nice to have a childhood knowing what it meant to feel loved, what it meant to have a stable home and so much more. Thank you for everything grandma. Today we will not cry too much, today we will only be sad a little and today we will remember the life you had on this earth now and forever more. I'd like to end with a quote "Those we love don't go away, they wall beside us everyday. Unseen, unheard, but always near. So loved, so missed and so very dear.
