I N S A N I T Y

hi, i'm insanity. you may know me as someone who's out of control, filled with deceit, ready to burn temples with their own faith, but I am nothing less of a believer. maybe I'm less of a queen, who put her kingdom into chaos, but my crown will stay on my head, where it belongs. I rule a nation of insecurity, and for that, I have shot each subject down. I have blood on my fingers but ichor on my own, and I will not hesitate to draw my sword, and fight for my beliefs. I am passionate, passionate about all things hidden to the eye, and spoken out of the mouth, I crave for the the destruction of what's immoral, and the restoration of what is lost and wishes to be found. Never once did I allow prejudice to cling on to my clothes and ask for alms, when I know that his paradise is not far off. Send me to frostbitten blue Neptune, where life will thrive with each of my commands. I will fortify a home under the stars, and scale the skies, so that I may see the whole world at the palm of my hand.

you may press yourselves against my grave, and sing eulogies of how you loved me dearly, but no one stays sane enough to do so. I have secrets to hide and people to disappoint, and for that, I'm sorry.
