{Winter's pov}
I woke up at 5:00 am on Tuesday I get up and do my makeup again just eyeliner and mascara. Then I slip on a three days grace t-shirt and skinny jeans slipping on an orange hoody over that.

After that I straightened my hair and grabbed my orange knife and stuffed it in my pocket.

And slipped on my black converses. I grabbed a strawberry pop tart and headed to get Jeff and Liu. But when I got there I saw Jeff on the ground crying I go a bit closer. "Jeff are you okay?" I asked as he hugged me "no I'm not! Liu went to JDC instead of us!" He yelled 'why the hell did he do that!?' I thought as I sat there on the steps with Jeff then I call my mom. "Hey mom can I stay with Jeff?...no I don't think he's going to school... Yes I care about him...really s-she's in JDC too? Fuck man... Ok bye." I said as I hung up and cried with Jeff. After a while Jeff's mom Margaret came out "oh hello. You must be Winter Jeff's friend. Why don't you two come in." She said inviting me in I nodded as me and Jeff went in and sat on the couch. "I'm Margaret and this is Peter." She said as I shook Peter's hand "I'm Winter." I said as I continued to cry. "What's wrong Winter sweetie?" Margaret asked "M-My sister went to JDC for beating up those boys." I said trying to hide my tears. Margaret put her hand on my leg. "Well it's over and I'm so sorry you had to hear that." She said soothingly "she just got back too!!" I sobbed as Jeff went to get me a tissue "where you close?" Margaret asked I nodded "yeah we were she'd always bring her best friends over for a sleepover. None of them liked me though. Because I'm a little sick in the head. But my sister would get up their asses saying to respect me and treat me the same way they do her. Heh I love her." I said crying a bit. "Well here is some money you and Jeff go do something together." Margaret said as I grabbed the money and left. We stopped by many stores but it was mainly the video games and well I liked jewelry but he didn't care much. "I'm sorry Jeff this is all my fault if I hadn't stepped in your brother wouldn't have to go to JDC." I said as I felt his hand snake over to mine "hey don't worry about it Winter. You hated seeing new kids being bullied so you tried to help." He said kissing my cheek. I felt my cheeks get hot. "T-Thanks Jeff." I said as we walked to his house "hey do you maybe want to go out sometime?" Jeff asked. "You mean like a date?" I asked he smirked. I smiled and nodded "yeah six sound good?" I asked he nodded I just smiled. He kissed my cheek one last time before I walked home all happy and cheerful inside. I walk in my house still tear stained cheeks. "Hi sweetheart are you okay?" I shook my head no. "I didn't even get to say hi." I said about to cry. "I'm so sorry sweetie." My mom brings me in a warm hug. "Oh and I have a date tonight." I said trying to bring up the mood. "Really!? Oh who is it!?" My mom asks excited "I-It's Jeff..." I said trailing off. My mom squealed while picking up her phone. "Oh my gosh Margaret! Is your son going on a date?" She asked "yeah why?" I could hear the conversation through the other phone. "Because if he is he's dating my daughter Winter!!" My mom says excitedly as Margaret gasps then my phone goes off. It was Jeff.

Jeff: hey you ready?
Me: yeah I am where are we going?
Jeff: Jack in the box...I can't afford an actual restaurant lol srry
Me: it's okay I'm just waiting for you!
Jeff: ok I'm at your door.
Me: ok
I put down my phone and quickly put my necklace on. I ran to the door as soon as I heard a knock I opened the door. "Hey Jeff you ready?" I asked he smiled and nodded "c'mon lets go I got us bus tickets." Jeff said as I smiled and walked out the door with him. It was about 10 minutes until we finally arrived at Jack in the box. "So what do you like?" Jeff asked "I like anything with bacon in it!" I said all excited as Jeff ordered we sat down and started eating. "So Winter how come you always carry a kitchen knife with you to school?" Jeff asked "well many times I nearly get raped by somebody on my to school and back so I always carry something on me." I said as we finally finished and was on our way home we kept telling jokes and family traditions from the past. When we were in front of my house he looked in my eyes "tonight was fun Winter." Jeff said as I smiled "yeah thank you." Then Jeff put his finger under my chin and leaned in for a kiss. Our lips touched and I melted in the kiss. "After about three minutes he broke the kiss. "I'll see you tomorrow babe." He said as he walked away. I smiled huge and walked inside to find my mom smiling big at me. "I am so happy for you!" She exclaimed as she brought me into a hug "thank you mom but I'm kinda tired." I said as she let me go and I went upstairs to change. I slipped out of my orange hoody and into a black tank top and orange pajama pants as I went to bed.
