Aysha arrived at Craytia's mansion. A golden home filled with seven balconies facing the front. There was one stationed at the very top at the house. Three were on the right and three on the left. The golden mansion shone in the sun. There were gardens on either side and a fountain positioned at the front that gave Craytia's home a more calming vibe.

Aysha stepped out and gazed upon it with awe. The driver stepped out as well to open the door for Craytia.

"You will begin training today Aysha. You will eat and bathe in blood. You will kill who I tell you to."

Aysha nodded again. She didn't enjoy killing, but she'd do it as much as possible to reach her goal. Aysha walked toward the entrance of the door with a calmness one would not have expected from her. The Jewel of Orenda was like a viper. Her home, a nest of snakes as some would say. But in Aysha's eyes, it was nothing but the home to the number one most famed killer throughout the land.

Craytia walked behind her but her footsteps seemed irregular. She would take a step and pause. A step and pause, and so on and so forth. Aysha knew from living in the alleys that when people walked like that, they were preparing to lunge, but the way that Craytia moved seemed purposeful. As though she wanted Aysha to know that she was planning to attack.

Aysha reached for her gun that was supposed to be hanging at her belt, but was surprised to see that it wasn't. She turned around to see Craytia lunge at her with a knife in hand. Aysha was lucky that she'd been able to dodge to the side with nothing but a graze. She glared at Craytia as she attempted to continue dodging, but Craytia was relentless. She would pause seemingly to give Aysha enough time to recover, but like a king cobra she would rear up and strike again.

Aysha looked in Cryatia's eyes and saw the patience of a hunter that knew its prey was dancing in its palm.

It was the same way Aysha had looked at the old man earlier. Except now the roles were reversed and she was the prey.

Aysha now understood why they called her a viper and her home a nest of snakes. She had stepped in and there was no stepping out. She had jumped in boldly and may end up losing her life in the process, but it'd all be worth it in the end, right?

By the time Aysha had started losing her energy, her movements had become slower, and her vision blurry. Her blood was splattered all across the floor and by the time Aysha froze, a cold blade was pressed against her neck.

But, this can't be right... Aysha thought. She hadn't lost too much blood seeing as the gashes in her skin weren't all that deep, unless the blade had been poisoned...

She struggled to reach for Craytia's neck but felt her arms go limp as her world went dark.

Aysha struggled to wake up, the bright fluorescent lights shining directly into her eyes. She winced as she pushed herself up while using one hand to shield her eyes from the light.

"Marvelous, you're awake."

Aysha looked over to see Craytia sitting cross-legged in a white chair at the edge of the bed with a phone in hand.

"You poisoned me," Aysha stated. It was nothing but a simple fact.

Craytia nodded with an amused smirk on her face. "Of course I did. One of the maids will escort you to your room and I will explain what your first task will be."

Task? Aysha thought hesitantly, but didn't question it. After all, she couldn't turn down this opportunity.

Not many had the chance to become sponsored and become an outer circle noble. That was the reward that lay after you had won the Blood Trials. Regular people didn't have the chance to become inner circle nobles like Craytia. Even if they did, it was because they had killed an inner circle noble and had taken their place, but that was rare. Nobles relied on their family lines rather than simply passing the title down to anyone. Since this was the case, they usually had a family member that would take their position.

But, Aysha believed she was different. She would kill Craytia and anyone that dared to stand in her way. She would change things for everyone. She would put a stop to the Blood Trials and destroy the title of 'Noble'. Everyone would be equal and she'd get her revenge.
