You sighed as you were making your way out of the mini game egg wars. You had won again and made a lot of money "okay everybody if you look on the screen mini game scoreboard you can see your placements" the announcer spoke into the microphone. Your mouth almost went to the floor when you saw you were in first place and in second is BajanCanadian, you can't believe you passed all of the royal guards.

People congratulated you and you smiled and nodded not being able to speak, your tail was swaying behind you as you walked home on the walk home people congratulated you more. On your doorstep you saw an invitation and it was fancy you grabbed it and walked inside, you sat down on your couch and your pet monkey crawled up the couch and on top of your head. You monkey was the size of your index finger,you had found him a long time ago in the jungle looking for cocoa beans and named him Chip.

Reason why is because when you brought him home and set him down on the table you had a bag of chips open and he went inside the bag and when you opened the bag he had a chip on his head while eating a chip, it was the cutest thing ever. He settled down on your ear cuddling one of your cat ears you giggled and opened the letter. The paper was gold with black writing, it was beautiful Chip squeaked climbed down your hair to your arm and he 'ooed' at the gold paper.

You giggled and gently grabbed him with your tail and placed him back on your head. He cuddled back with your ear again and started to read the letter.

King Sky

You were shocked to say the least but then smiled because you are gonna meet your idols but then again you won't be able to speak to them. You had a voice but you gave it up for something more important you remember it like it was yesterday.

Flashback

You were walking through the forest looking for a witch to buy supplies from. You hear yelling and walk towards it, a witch's hut came to view but a woman holding something in her arms and the witch in front of her. "Whats going on here" you said looking between the two the woman had tears going down her face "my baby is dying and i'm trying to give her money but she won't take it" you looked at the witch "to do the spell i don't need money i need something more valuable to you in order for me to do the spell" the witch said "what does that even mean" the lady cried.

You sighed "take my voice" you said they both looked at you "what" the witch said "my voice is what is most valuable to me because i love to sing and i'll give up my voice to give this child life" you said. "Are you sure" the witch asked you nodded the witch said some words and a glowing white ball came out of your mouth and disappeared into the baby's chest. You tried to talk but nothing came out and the baby started to cry, the woman started to cry happy tears "thank you so much is there anything i can do to repay you" she said.

You shook your head "i don't have any family and my child needs family would you like to be apart of our family" she said you never had a family before so you nodded. She nodded "would you like to hold her" you nodded and gently held the baby the baby was awake making gurgling noises. You smiled at the baby bringing your tail up and giggled as the baby tried to reach for the tail.

You smiled at the memory you are her godmother and you love her to death and so does chip and she loves both of you to death. Her name is Kai and she's gonna stay the whole weekend and when her mom Mary told her she was excited and skyped every night before she went to bed talking about her day. And for a five year old she can read well because you would have to type and she has a reading level of a fifth grader. A knock at the door broke you out of your thoughts, you stood up and Chip sat up on your head.

You opened the door and a small body hugged your legs, you looked down and saw Kai you picked her up and tickled her she giggled and wiggled in your arms. "Auntie (y/n)" Kai said Chip squeaked and crawled onto Kai's head "Chip" Kai said grabbing chip from her hair "i missed you auntie (y/n)" you smiled and poked her nose. You motioned for Mary to come in she set Kai's bags down "okay Kai-bear i'm gonna go you have fun i'll come and get you on monday" and with that she kissed her forehead said bye and left.

You set Kai down on the couch and handed her the letter she read it and smiled "you're going to meet the king and his friends" she said "who's gonna watch me" she said. You sat down next to her you pointed your tail at her then yourself then the invitation, "you mean i'm going with you" she said all the excitement on her face made you happy, you nodded she cheered then stopped "what am i gonna wear" she said.

You pulled out a pouch with coins "shopping!" she said with excitement you nodded and was off to the stores. While walking people would congratulate you and you would smile and nod at them making your way to the stores. You grabbed a small notebook from your back pocket wrote something down and showed it to Kai 'do you wanna look for your dress first or yours?'.

"Let's look for mine then yours because it's gonna be harder for you" she said you nodded and handed chip to her started to look through kid stores.While looking at a blue dress someone tapped your shoulder. You turned around and was met with a bacca with a suit, you jumped back a little he chuckled "sorry to scare you but, if you don't mind me asking are you (y/n)" he asked you nodded. He smiled "if you didn't now i'm Jerome one of King Sky's knights and now in third place at the minigame arena".

You blushed rubbing your neck "i have to go but i hope to see you at the ball later tonight" with that he walked away. Kai appeared at your side holding a dress "was that Jerome auntie" she asked you nodded. "Know i need to find a dress to match his suit" she muttered and went back to find a dress you giggled and went to help her.

You finally found a dress for her and you made way to a store with beautiful gowns. You and Kai looked at all the dresses in distaste because they were all types of pinks and purples so you decided to leave the store. All the stores were the same "what are you gonna wear auntie" Kai asked with a sleeping Chip on her shoulder. You shrugged then sighed then you remembered a dress you had gotten a long time ago as a gift from the miners because you had helped one of the miners that got trapped. You walked home holding a sleeping Kai in your arms and a sleeping Chip cuddling her neck, you looked at the clock and saw it was only 3:00 pm.

You sighed and set her down on your bed and tucked her in with Chip, you walk to your closet and started to look for the box that had the dress in it after a few minutes later you found it. To waist time you decided to read a book till the time was right. 6:00 you woke Kai and Chip up you put Kai in the bath and Chip in the sink to get them ready. While they were taking a bath You started to do your makeup and hair while they were washing themselves.

~Time skip getting ready~

You already did Kai's hair in a bun and put on her dress.

And chip had a red bowtie it was adorable you did your hair and makeup Chip was brushing your ears and Kai was brushing your tail, you sighed looking in the mirror you weren't ready to end up meeting all the knights you sighed and put on the dress.

"You look pretty auntie (y/n)" Kai said you smiled and wrote down 'thank you are you ready' she nodded, you picked her up and walked outside and outside was a two of Sky's friends which you recognized as Ssundee or Ian and Jerome. "Hello ladies we are here to escort you to the party curtesy of King Sky" Jerome said you smiled and chip squeaked Jerome walked up and said "who's this little cutie" Kai blushed and buried her face in your neck. You giggled and he chuckled you wrote down 'she's a fan of you' he smiled "your mute" he asked you nodded "well little one would you like to be my date for the party" Kai smiled and nodded.

~Time Skip to party~

You arrived at the castle and the ball room was packed Jerome was carrying Kai and chip was on your head "Ssundee will take you to meet the rest of the guys and i'm gonna take this beautiful young lady to dance" you nodded and followed Ssundee all of team crafted was sitting and talking. They all stopped talking and looked at you "guys this is (y/n) the person that beat all of our asses at the mini game arena and she also beat our asses at looking good tonight" Ian said and you blushed.

"Okay guys chill i call dibs" Mitch said they all grumbled and said incoherent words you giggled and smiled, he grabbed your hand and kissed the back of it "its finally nice to meet the person that passed me in the mini games" he said 'it's finally nice to meet my idol' you wrote down he smiled, Chip squeaked "who's this" Sky asked 'my pet monkey chip" you wrote "he's so small and cute" Ty said. "Wanna dance" he asked you nodded 'do you mind watching him' you wrote "we don't mind" you smiled and placed Chip on Ty's head 'he likes going on peoples heads, it makes him feel bigger' they nodded and made your way to the center of the dance floor "your more beautiful in person" you blushed and looked down.

He chuckled and gently grabbed your chin and made you look into his hazel eyes and he looked into your (e/c) eyes and slowly he leans in and places his soft lips on yours, you pulled away  and smiled "that was amazing" you said your eyes widened and you covered your mouth. "I can speak again" you said you tackled him in a hug "i can speak again" you repeated he chuckled "yes you can" he said moving hair hair behind your ear. You smiled and enjoyed the rest of your night with Mitch occasionally checking on Kai and Chip, you would think about what made your voice come back then you remembered the witch said something about true loves kiss and something like that but you enjoyed the night.
