Everyone stood in the graveyard over L's gave. you wore a simple black dress and wore black roses in your (h/c) hair. The single cross stood into the red orange sky. Everyone bent their heads towards the dirt. The setting sun shone across the grass and stones casting long shadows.

"Ryuzaki..." Cheif Yagami spoke. "We have gathered here for your private funeral. No one else knows your gone." He bent his head towards the earth. "We are going to make it appear as if your still alive. This is not ever yet. We will continue to work with police around the world. I swear to you we will catch Kira and arrest him. That's our promise to you so you can rest in piece." You all bent your heads once again. You looked over and noticed Matsuda shed a tear. You tried to hold your in. You didn't want Light to see your actual feelings on what was happening.

"That's right. We will catch Kira. I swear to you Ryuzaki if I have to I'll catch him myself. No matter what happens he will be brought to justice." Light spoke. You glanced at him. You loved him so much but you wished that you and Light didn't have to kill innocent people like L. He flicked his brown eyes to your (e/c) and you quickly turned back towards the grave. Everyone said their goodbyes walked away leaving you and Light still standing there. The police let you and light have your privacy. You knelt down on one knee and placed red flowers over his grave and smiled.

"Although I didn't know you for to long Ryuzaki I wanted to say I am grateful to you for for all you have done. Although I didn't like being handcuffed or held prisoner for three months you were just doing your job and I understand that. I'm going to miss you being around and you eating your cake. I picked these Red flowers for you because they reminded me of the stawberrys you would eat off your cakes. Rest in piece friend. Until we meet again." You finished and stood back up letting a single tear slide down your cheek and land on the soft dirt below.

It didn't have to end like this.

Light looked around to see if anyone was watching and he turned back satisfied when he saw everyone had already left. Ryuk stood behind Light. His creepy smile always on his face.

"So L's gone huh? That's to bad. I guess there won't be anything interesting anymore." He said in his shinigami voice.

You looked at Light and thought he was crying. He made sort of a quiet sobbing sound but you quickly realized he wasn't crying AT ALL. he put his head back and laughed to the sky. Your eyes widened. You had the urge to punch him in the face but you couldn't. You let him have his moment as he let you have yours.

"Now everyone in our way is gone! And everyone still believes us too!" He laughed. He laughed so hard he had to wipe away a few tears from the corners if his eyes. "It's only a matter of time before we get rid of the police!" He continued. He suddenly dropped onto L's grave making you jump back in surprise. He was on his hands and knees literally screaming at his grave stone.

"What do you think of that L?! This is my perfect victory! That's right! We win!" He screamed with the biggest smile on his face. You watching him scowling.

Wow. Even after L died he's still a dick to him. You thought wanting to snap light out of it.

His eyes shone red. His mouth was open in a big smile but the smile soon disappeared and his eyes narrowed and he frowned. He stood up and wiped the dirt from his pants and hands.

"You said nothing is going to be interesting anymore Ryuk? Well I can assure you that won't be the case. This is just the beginning." He said still with that look of burning hate In his eyes. You grabbed onto his arm and leaned onto his shoulder seeing him calm down a little.

"Light can we please not kill the other Police members? We aren't suspected anymore and there isn't a point in doing it if that's the case." You said quietly. He wrapped his arm around your shoulder relaxing.

"If things get intense we will have to." He replied. "And what's with you all of a sudden? It actually seems like you wanted L to live..." You just shrugged. "He didn't do anything wrong." Light dropped his arm from your shoulders and scowled at the Cross in from of him. "He tried to take you away from me. He won't ever find out the truth because if he did you would have been taken away from me and we both would have been executed." Those words made you shake.

I if they found out?

"We won't ever get caught and we can continue to rid the world of evil." He smiled at you. You smiled back. Maybe he's right. maybe I should relax a little and work with him and forget about L... you relaxed bit more. Light turned and kissed you on the lips making you slightly jump at the action but you closed your eyes and continued to kiss him back. you wrapped your arms around his neck while his were on your waist. you felt horrible kissing Light in front of L's grave. it felt wrong. you broke away from him and smiled. "lets go back."

The full moon shone through the dark clouds illuminating the city streets. cars and people rushed past. unfortunately you had to take the long way back with Light. you stepped onto a bus after him and sat by him. you looked out the window at the flashy city when you heard other girls voices.

"look at that guy sitting by that girl. oh my god he's hot. I hope he's not that's girls boyfriend. he deserves someone way prettier than her." the two annoying girls laughed and went on and it was obvious they were talking about you and Light. you glanced at him annoyed when he spoke up. "I don't think you two understand that this beautiful girl is actually my girlfriend and she is far more beautiful than the two of you combined." he spat at them. they stared at him wide eyed and didn't say anything more. you turned and whispered to Light embarrassed. "U-um thanks L-light." you muttered looking down. he placed a hand on your fluffy (h/c) hair and ruffled it. "your so cute (f/n)." he smiled his chocolaty eyes looked gentle. you loved him like this. he could be so kind and gentle. you were still in your black dress from the funeral. unfortunately it didn't have sleeves and you shoved your hands in your armpits for warmth. Light looked at you and chuckled a little. "here." he said as he slipped off his dark grey over coat and draped it over you. "Light your spoiling me tonight." you laughed a little. It was like you could feel the cold stares coming from the two previous girls. you turned to look at them for a split second and they looked so pissed off. you surprisingly smirked at them for being such assholes. they just narrowed their eyes  and turned away from you and started probably gossiping. Im glad im not like them... you thought sighing.

The bus ride seemed to take forever. since you and Light skipped dinner he decided to take you to a little pizza place. the bus stopped close to your destination as you and Light stepped out he led you to the pizza place. you both ate the pizza in heaven. you both were so hungry. it had been a long day. after you had both had stuffed yourselves you finally walked back yawning. you rode the elevator with Light at your side. your heart dropped when you didn't see L in his chair. Oh right. he died.

you had no idea how things would work out now. with L gone it didn't even seem real anymore. you jumped into your bed and flipped on the TV. of course nothing of L's death was spoken of. there will still cameras in the room but no one even bothered to check them anymore so you and Light could pretty much judge criminals without even being suspected. you continued to flip though the channels. everything was Kira related. All I want right now is to chill and watch some cartoon. you started to get frustrated when you realized that wouldn't happen. Light currently was changing into his clothes he slept in. a white shirt and comfy black pajama pants. you flung the remote to the floor. "becoming Kira meant  sacrificing all my favorite tv shows also?" you tried to sound a little angry but you laughed instead. "oh did I not add in that part when I asked you to join me?" he spoke grinning. you grabbed the nearest pillow and threw it at him. it smacked him in the face. it was hilarious to see him frown when you did things like this to him. "and you call yourself a god." you smirked at him prepared of what he might do next. he looked at you and a small smile started to appear at the ends of his lips. he jumped towards and tackled you onto the bed holding your arms above you head with one hand and started to tickle you with the other. he knew your weakness. "LIGHT STOP IM DYING!" you screamed at him as you thrashed under his body half laughing half screaming. you again felt guilty that you seemed to have a lot of fun on the day of L's funeral.
