So I was gonna make just one chapter  explaining who the characters you don't from the playing cards are...

...but I realized this one needs his own chapter

So!

May I introduce you to the very young and eligible

Lord Elliot DeCourcy, Duke of Dairy

(Co-creator and I give you permission to boo and hiss at this point)

Elliot is a very prominent member of the Food Court, as you may imagine, and is not afraid to let people know it.  Generally, he is very formal and polite (sometimes in a condescending way) to everyone

Well...

Everyone except Francis

They have a bit of a rivalry going on, as for one Elliot is basically just an advanced version of Francis and also because of Francis and Darby's vague and confusing relationship

Elliot also has a talent for making Francis feel very self conscious, which is a pretty difficult feat

(Note: when Francis get angry, he starts using very large words that everyone thinks are fake but are actually real words with very obscure definitions.)

Francis is incredibly suspicious of Elliot (purely because of the amount of time he spends around Darby), which is fair because Elliot is only after Darby because it would be an incredibly advantageous alliance for his kingdom and also she's pretty, but no one really sees it that way

Which confuses Francis because as you know, Francis has trouble with interpreting things like that

^^^genuinely confused

Which very much annoys everyone else

Other fun facts:

-I almost always ask Co-creator for the color schemes of new characters we create and when I asked her for Elliot's scheme, she was very specific that his eyes should be baby blue. Baby blue is the most evil eye color, don't you think?

-Co-creator considers him a villain. So you can too.

-Elliot is definitely the type who has side chicks
