Vikram had been sitting inside the doctor's cabin. He was checking Aarav's MRI scan reports and observed something.

Vikram asked with curiosity "sab thik hai na doc?"

"haan Vikram you can take him home aur ab main umeed karta hun yeh sab jo hua phir kabhi nahi hoga" he said looking at him seriously.

Vikram nodded in yes "nahi hoga doc.. Lekin kya koi chance nahi hai Aaru?" he looked at him with hope

The doctor smiles "umeed kar sakte hai hum Vikram.. Tum chaho to main abhi surgery karke use thik kar sakta hun lekin.. It's very risky uski jaa.."

"no no doc.. I can't lose him thank you" he said and left the cabin.

Dheer checked everything again just to be 100% sure. Everything seemed fine so he signed his discharged papers.

Vikram dialed Poonam's phone but it wasn't reachable. He got worried for her, he assumed she must be at home waiting for their arrival.

He headed back to the room and saw Aarav sleeping under the medicine effect. He caressed his head and with that touch, he opened his eyes. He sat up straight and hugged Vikram tightly. Vikram smeared his head and asked, "nahi bhejoge na?" 

"kahi nahi bhejunga tujhe main kahin.. aur tujhe darne ki zaroorat nahi hai ab chacha chachi kabhi tujhe pareshan nahi karenge maine unhe na police uncle ke waha pe bhej diya" Vikram explained. 

Aarav parted the hug and looked at him with teary eyes "Sachi?" 

"muchi.." Vikram replies pinching his nose a bit. 

"wo.. ab maarenge nahi na? aapko kuch nahi karenge na?" he asked innocently

Vikram shook his head in no "nahi karenge.. kyun nahi bataya tumne pehle mujhe ye sab haan?" he asked

"bahut dard hota tha na phir aapko bhi hota.. Aaru ko pasand nahi aapko dard ho" he said and Vikram closes his eyes for a moment. 

He looked at him again and kissed his forehead "itna pyaar kyun karta hai mujhse tu?" he asked

"itna saara karta hun" he said spreading his hands wider. Vikram smiled with teary eyes and ruffled his hair. 

"ye nikalo na" he pointed towards the drip which was attached to his left arm. The nurse entered the room and Vikram smiled at her. 

"ye nurse aa gayi hai na abhi nikal degi phir hum ghar jayenge" Vikram said diverting him. 

"ghar jayenge... bhabhi maa ke paas na?" he asked 

Vikram nodded in yes "haa tumhari bhabhi maa ke paas" he just can't wait to see Poonam's reaction to this. She must be also dying to hear "bhabhi maa" from his mouth. 

The nurse removed the drip and placed the bandage on it. Aarav got down from the bed and both of them walked out of the hospital. Aarav ran to the car and opened the door "jaldi jaldi ghar jaana hai" he said excitedly. 

Vikram unlocked it and Aarav sat inside the car. Vikram moved to the other side and drove off towards the bungalow. He again called Poonam but she wasn't answering his call. 

Within half an hour they reached home, and Aarav got out of the car. He recalled being taken to the mental hospital forcefully. Vikram saw him getting anxious, he called him a bit and Aarav held his arm tightly. 

He touched his head and there was a stitch mark on the corner. Aarav held his both ears with his hand and looked at him with teary eyes "Sorry Aaru ki wajah se aapko lagi"

Vikram lowers his hand and cupped his face "tumhe sorry kehne ki zaroorat nahi hai ye sab gande chacha chachi ki wajah se hua tha ab nahi hoga hmm.." 

"main uss gande hospital mein nahi jaunga bhai.. jhatka diya tha.. maara bhi tha nahi jaunga" he hugged him tightly. Vikram caressed his head lightly and walked inside the same position. 

"kabhi nahi jayega tu.. hamesha mere paas rahega" Vikram assured him. 

He makes him sit on the couch and orders Maria to prepare something healthy food for him. Maria said "Poonam bhabhi ne pehle hi bana diya tha Sir" 

Another servant gets the food plate and places it on the tea table. Aarav chuckles upon seeing it, Vikram holds the plate and Aarav opens his mouth wide just like earlier. Vikram missed this, he fed him the food. 

"Aaru ka chimpu kahan hai?" Aarav asked. 

"wo toh aapke room mein hoga.." Vikram replied

"Chimpu chimpu.." he shouts and runs to his room. Vikram had a sigh of relief seeing his innocent brother back. 

Vikram moved to his bedroom but didn't find Poonam anywhere. He searched for her in every corner of the house but she wasn't anywhere. He then finds a note placed on the dressing table. He picked it up and read it. 

"Tumne mujhse sawal kiya aur uska jawab main tumhe de rahi hun..maine apna wada pura kiya Vikram.. isse zyada mujhe umeed mat karna tum. Tumne mujhse bahut kuch manga maine sab diya lekin badle mein tum mujhpe vishwas bhi nahi kar paaye.. isse aage main tumhara saath nahi de paungi. Aaru ka khayal rakhna aur usse kehna uski bhabhi maa usse bahut pyaar karti hai" 

A tear escaped down his eyes, and he realized she hadn't forgiven him for that humiliation. He thought they had come closer again but she was staying with him for Aarav. He sighed in disappointment, she didn't even give him a chance to prove how much he loved her. 

Aarav entered the room with his favourite teddy, and he saw Vikram crying. "bhai kya hua aapko?" he asked

Vikram wiped tears from his eyes and smiled "kuch nahi Aaru.. tujhe mil gaya tera Chimpu?" he asked

Aarav glanced at him and made a face "Aaru se jhooth nahi bolo! bhabhi maa katti hai na aapse?" he questioned

Vikram looked down and nodded yes "hmm.. katti hai tumhari bhabhi maa mujhse" 

"toh batti karke wapas lao unhe warna main baat nahi karunga aapse" Aarav said adamantly. 

"Aaru.." Vikram sighed

Aarav glared at him "bhabhi maa chahiye Aaru ko bas" he stamped his foot in anger. 

Vikram cupped his face "Aaru zid mat kar teri bhabhi maa bahut gussa hai mujhse nahi manengi aur meri hi galti hai tu bhi mujhse baat nahi karega toh main kaise jeeyunga haan?" 

Aarav stared at him, he smiled a bit "thik hai Aaru aapse kaati nahi rahega.." 

Vikram was left amazed hearing him,  he was understanding and listening to him. He thought "uss waqt hi mujhe samajh jaana chahiye tha chacha chachi ki wajah se hi tera itna bura haal hua naaki Poonam ki wajah se kabhi maaf nahi kar paunga main khudko" 

"chalo na Aaru ko video game khelna hai" Aarav said, Vikram nodded and went to his room with him. 

Vikram recalled everything that happened in the past few months, due to Aarav he got closer to Poonam and there was hope that they could get back together once again but today that letter broke all the misconceptions. 

Mumbai

Poonam had tears in her eyes, It was very tough for her to come back but she didn't have any choice. Shruti was sitting in front of her and staring at her angrily "Poonam mujhe toh samajh hi nahi aata hai kya hai yeh sab? kabhi tu Vikram ke paas jaati hai kabhi tu usse door ho jaati hai! sab thik tha na toh kyun aayi wapas tu haan?" 

"main sirf Aaru ke liye wapas gayi thi Shruti! maine use abtak maaf nahi kiya hai apne apmaan ke liye" Poonam replied clearing her eyes. 

"acha? lekin teri aankhein toh kuch aur hi kah rahi hai" Shruti said

Poonam closed her eyes for a moment. She looked at her "main bhi uske saath rehna chahti hun Shruti lekin main uspe zimmedari nahi daal sakti" 

Shruti stared at her "maltab?" 

"Aaru puri tarah se thik nahi hua hai Shruti.. main chahti hun jo waqt pyaar Vikram mujhe deta tha wo bhi Aaru ko de.. mujhse zyda Aaru ko uski zarorat hai aur mera yahan business hai mujhe ise sambhal hai main jaise hun thik hun" Poonam replied with a smile on her face

Shruti gets touched hearing her words. She smiled "Aaru ko teri bhi zaroorat hai, wahi tere aur Vikram ke rishte ki majboot dor hai jo tum dono ko bandke rakhti hai.. isliye toh alag hone ke baad bhi tum dono saath aa gaye" 

Poonam takes a deep breath. Her phone rings, and she picks it up immediately "hello.." 

"bhabhi maa" 

A smile appears on her face hearing it "Aaru.." 

"Aaru kitna miss kar raha hai aapko.. aap bhai se katti ho na lekin Aaru se katti kyun ho?" he asked

"main tumse katti nahi hun Aaru" Poonam denied

"toh Aaru ke paas kyun nahi ho aap? Aaru ko aapke saath khelna hai.. aapke haath se choco milk peena hai" he complained. 

Poonam smiled hearing his words "Aaru bhabhi maa ki baat manega na?" she asked

"haan Aaru manega" he agreed. 

"toh apne bhai ki baat sunna.. unhe tang mat karna bahut pyaar karte hai aapse" Poonam explained

"aap ghar nahi aogi na? bhai ne galat kia Aaru bahut daantega unhe main aa jau aapke paas?" he asked

"phir aapke bhai akele ho jayenge na.. mere paas toh meri dost hai bhai se paas raho Aaru unka khayal rakho" Poonam said with teary eyes. 

"thik hai Aaru aapki baat manega Aaru bhai ke saath rahega" He said

Poonam smiled hearing him and ended the call. She took a deep breath and looked at the picture hanging on the wall "I am sorry Aaru... tumhari bhabhi  maa ab tumhare paas nahi aa sakti" 

Aarav returns the phone to Maria and said "Shh.. bhai ko nahi batana warna wo sad ho jayenge" 

"thik hai baba.. aap ab so jayie" Maria said

Aarav moved to Vikram's room and quietly lay down beside him. Vikram hugs him closer and both brothers sleep in each other embrace.
