It was the end of the month, the doctor had arrived along with the nurse for Aarav's checkup. Aarav is scared of doctors and hospitals due to the way he was mistreated in the mental hospital by them. They came home in casual wear and Poonam takes them upstairs to the room.

Aarav saw them, he hide behind Vikram holding his hand. Vikram removes his hand from his grip "Aaru ye mere dost hai.. Bas aapse milne aaye hai aap inki baat maano phir main aapko chocolate dunga"

He shook his head positively. The doctor smiles at him and forwards his hand "Hello.. Naam kya hai aapka?"

Aarav glanced at Poonam who blinked her eyes in yes to trust him. He shook hands with the doctor "Aarav.." he said

"Such a sweet name.. Mera naam Dheer hai.." he introduced himself. He then gives him a medicine that looks like a sweet. Aarav eats it and slowly begins to feel numb. The nurse takes out a machine and attaches the circular object to his head.

"Aaram se doctor.." Vikram said out of concern. Poonam held his hand tightly "Vikram doctor jante hai wo kya kar rahe hai.. Shant raho tum" she said scolding him.

After about 15 minutes the doctor places his things back into the bag. Vikram and Poonam looked at him with hope.

"Well jaise aapne mujhe bataya phone pe aur pehle jab aap ise laaye they kaafi improvement hai.. Main kuch medicines change kar deta hun" he said and wrote a new prescription. He handed it to Vikram.

"Thank you, doctor.. Aapne kaha tha ye humhe pehchan lega.." he said

"Hoga Vikram waqt pe bharosa rakhiye" Dheer smiles at him and left from there along with the nurse.

Nitin and Kavya heard the conversation. They seems to be scared of something, Poonam noticed them standing over there. She walked to them and passed a smile "suna aapne kya kaha doctor ne? Bas ek baar Aaru mujhe aur Vikram ko pehchan le phir dekhiye kaise dhakke maarke aap dono ko ghar se nikalti hun main"

They left from there fuming in anger. Vikram gave a glass of water to Aarav, he asked "thik ho?"

"Dost.. wo.. Wo.." he wanted to speak something but couldn't express it.

"Kya hua?" Vikram asked holding his hand. Aarav hugged him tightly, it seems like he saw something when the doctor was doing his experiment. Vikram caressed his head "main hun na chalo aao hum blocks se khelenge"

Aarav shook his head positively. He gets up from bed and walks to the side section of the room where his toys were. He began to play with the building blocks.

Poonam calls his manager "kaam hua?"

"Haan mam.. Maine hamare sabse best aur trustworthy employee ko NK associates mei daal diya hai ab humhe jald sab pata chal jayega" he replied

"That's good mujhe har ek second ki khabar chahiye.. Nitin Malhotra kisse milta hai kab milta hai.. Everything" Poonam instructed him

"Don't worry mam I am on it" he assured her and ends the call.

Vikram was shocked hearing her words. He stared at her and asked "Poonam tum kya?"

"Sach jaanna hai na Vikram? Aakhir kyu chacha chachi ne itne saal Aaru ko galat dawai di? Kyun nahi chahte ye kabhi thik ho haa? Aur tum hi socho teen saal se pata nahi chala ki meri car se Aarav ka accident hua tha lekin mere aane ke kuch mahine baad hi kaise?" she asked

Vikram looked towards Aarav and shook his head positively "janna hai Poonam... aisa kya kiya hai mere bhai ne jo ye dono iske jaan ke dushman bane hue hai"

"Sach jald saamne hoga Vikram" she said with a smile on her face as now she has the power to dig the truth.

"Main iske liye khana laata hun tum yahi rehna" Vikram said

Poonam nodded and Vikram walked out of the room. He went downstairs and stops in front of Nitin's and Kavya's room when he heard something.

"maine tumhara saath diya haar kaam mein Nitin! Vikram ko maarne ke liye maine car ke break fail karwaye they.. Lekin afsoos Aarav ne uski jaan bacha li"

"marr jaata toh acha hota abtak iss darr mein nahi jeete hum! Agar wo thik ho gaya toh hum jail mein honge Kavya suna na tumhe kya kehke gaya hai wo doctor!" Nitin shouted angrily.

"uska puri tarah se thik hona namumkin hai ab Nitin.. Mental aslyum se humne jo jo kiya hai uske saath chahe upar se bhagwaan bhi aa jaye toh bhi normal nahi kar sakte hai use..! Bas ek baar wo CD mil jaaye jisme Aaru ne sab record kia tha" Kavya said

"Pata nahi kaha chupake rakhi hai usne.. Pura ghar dundh liya maine office tak mein nahi hai!" Nitin said

Vikram thought "Aarav ne mujhe bachaya... kaunsi CD.. Aur kyu ye log kah rahe hai aaru thik hua toh ye jail mei honge"

He heads to the kitchen, he warms the food but was still thinking about the conversation he heard. He thought, is that CD the reason for this state of Aarav? Is there any other truth hidden from him? Vikram was struggling with his thoughts. Maria enters the kitchen and saw the food burning, she turned off the stove "Sir khana jal raha hai.." she said

Vikram came out trance of his thoughts, he pours the food into the plate and commences towards Aarav's room.

He entered in and sat down on the floor beside him. Poonam feeds him the food with her hand. She noticed Vikram is tensed, something was disturbing him.

He thought "kaise pata karun main iss baare mein?"

Poonam looked at Aarav and smiles "Aarav aap yahi room mei khelo main aur dost aate hai thodi der mei" she said

Aarav shook his head positively. She held Vikram's hand and takes him to their bedroom. She looked at him and asked "kya baat hai??"

"Maine neeche chacha chachi ki baat suni Poonam.. Wo kah rahe they agar Aaru thik ho gaya toh wo jail mein honge" he said anxiously.

Poonam wasn't surprised hearing him, she smiles "umeed bhi yahi thi inse.. Doctor ne kaha na use hum yaad aa jayenge toh darr gaye honge.. Aur kya kaha unhe" she asked

He told her everything and said "agar main office jaa raha hota toh do din mein pata laga leta kaunsi CD hai.. Ab toh waha sab chachaji ke liye kaam karte hai sab unke loyal log hai waha"

Poonam cupped his face "main hoon na.. Mera loyal banda bhi ab waha tum bas batao kya chahiye tumhe office se" she asked

Vikram thought for a moment "Poonam wo CD agar usne sach mein aisa kuch hai toh ye sabsa bada saboot hoga chacha chachi ke khilaf" he told her

She agrees with him "mujhe Aaru ki tarah sochna hoga koi bhi important cheez wo kaha chupa sakta hai" he wondered

"Koi toh hoga na Aaru ka sach dost... shayad use kuch pata ho" Poonam said

"Haa.. ek tha Siddharth lekin Aaru ke accident ke baad hi wo US chala gaya" Vikram spoke in disappointment.

"I am sure use kuch pata hoga Vikram! Let's call him" she said with curiosity to know the truth.

"Poonam paanch saal ho gaye hai kaise pata chalega Siddharth kaha hai?" he said sadly

"Tumhari biwi ke international connection hai! Ek ghante mein sab information nikal lunga" she said crossing her arms across.

Vikram smiled hearing her words "of course.. Mere paas toh boss biwi hai chalyie aap hi pata kijiye" he spoke.

Poonam picks up her Ipad and asked him for some information about Siddharth. They moved to Aarav's room, Vikram opens Aarav's closet and searches for something. He finds his college album and shows it to Poonam "haa.. Siddharth Verma naam hai iska"

She snaps the pictures and sends them to her manager. She calls him "yea.. Ek photo bheja hai ye Us mein hai shayad I want his contract number asap!"

Vikram was amazed at her confidence, he remembered meeting her in Bangalore. She asked "kya dekh rahe ho?"

"Yaad hai Poonam jab tum pehli baar mujhse mili thi.. Confidently tumne mujhe presentation dikhaya tha tab hi mujhe laga tha aage jaake tum bahut naam kamogi.. I am so proud of you" he said

She smiles "sach kahun toh aaj jo bhi main toh tumhari wajah se hun Vikram.." she said

They stared at each other with love, he held her hand and pulled her closer to himself. She placed her hand on his chest and could feel his heart pounding heavily.

Aarav saw them, he gets a few blur images in front of his eyes. The two figures standing in a similar position, he closes his eyes for a moment. He holds his head tightly as he gets a headache. He pushes the blocks and the house he built falls. Poonam and Vikram looked at him in a state of shock.

They rushed and bends down to his level. Poonam asked "Aaru kya hua?"

"Pata nahi.. Do log.. Dikhe aap aur dost jaise hi" he said in pain.

Vikram and Poonam exchanged glances with each other. Poonam immediately gets up, she rushes to get his medicine. She picked up the water glass and returned. Vikram takes the medicine and takes out the pills from the strip.

"Ye lo.. Dawai lo" he places it into his mouth while Poonam made him drink the water. They help him get up and take him to the bed.

"Sab thik hai Aaru.. hmm.." Vikram assured him.

He lays down on the bed and closes his eyes. Poonam smeared his head and kisses his forehead lightly. He drifts into sleep under the medicine effect.
