Ezra kicks the large door of Athena's office, in the mansion, startling Mateo and Athena.
"WHERE IS LEA?" screams Ezra.
Athena leans back on the chair she was seated in and says "Dead"
Ezra was fuming in anger and charges at Athena but Mateo stops him.
"Calm down boy. Your mother has a dark sense of humor" says Mateo and turns to look at Athena and continues "You want to die 'cause you made a bad joke?"
Athena rolls her eyes and says "I sent her away to get pretty for the party tonight"
"I want to see her now" demands Ezra.
"My sweet baby boy. You don't demand. You ask politely" says Athena.
"Don't try to be polite. She will say no anyway" says Mateo.
"I would have liked him to try," says Athena with grinding teeth.
"Cut to the chance, Athena. I didn't come out of prison for your games" says Mateo.
"I am not playing any. She is our guest and I am just pampering my new daughter-in-law. You will meet her tonight. And if you behave, she will get to see you tomorrow" says Athena.

Ezra watches Athena intensely for a few minutes and then asks "What do you want from me?"
Athena smiles and says "I want us to be a happy family"
"Bullshit. Tell me what you want?" Asks Ezra.
"If you insist. I would like you to work with us. Not just a little but be involved in everything. All the resorts, clubs, golf courses, and hotels that Arturo owned. I want you to spread our business through them" says Athena.
"You want me to work all the illegal work hiding it behind the legal businesses. Musa was already doing that for you" says Ezra.
"You knew he was doing that?" Asks Mateo.
"I did recently and confronted Musa. He confessed" says Ezra.
"He will be with you and continue his work, just at a bigger scale now that you will work with us," says Athena.

Ezra takes a few minutes and nods.
"Really? That's it?" Aska Mateo.
"Yes," says Ezra and walks out of the office.

Mateo creases his eyebrows and says "That was easy"
"A bit too easy," says Athena skeptic.

In the evening, Ezra was dressed to impress in his tuxedo which was tailored to complement his physic. He looked around the large banquet hall with so many influential people that for a second he had forgotten about Lea. There were politicians, businessmen, foreign ministers, and even mayors of big cities.
"Impressed?" asks Athena coming behind Ezra.
"With these people as your well-wishers. You can rule the world" says Ezra and turns to look at Athena, eye to eye, and says "You don't even need me"
Athena smiles and says "You are presented all of this on a silver platter. Don't be ungrateful. I am allowing you to join us and grow bigger and richer"
"You don't take money to your grave," says Mateo with a glass of wine in his hand, seated at the bar behind Ezra and Athena.
"Speak about yourself. I have a golden casket for me to be buried in" says Athena.
Mateo stands up from his place, walks to Athena with a smirk, and says "You would still be dead, love"
"Where is Lea?" Asks Ezra finally getting impatient.

Athena looks around and smiles at the entrance. Ezra turns to see what Athena is seeing and sees Lea walking in the hall dressed in a red satin ball gown.

"Damn, I got a hot daughter-in-law" comments Mateo.

Ezra ignores Mateo's creepy comment and approaches Lea. The walk towards her felt like miles. The whole banquet hall went vacant and the only two people in that huge hall were Ezra and his new bride, Lea.

Ezra stands in front of Lea who looks at him with disappointment.
"You look beautiful" compliments Ezra.
"And you look like my father's murderer," says Lea.
Ezra caresses Lea's cheek and says "I have loved you longer than your father who you came to know 2 minutes ago"
"You didn't let me have more time with him. You killed him before his time" says Lea.
Ezra smiles and leans down to kiss her lips. He breaks the kiss and says "We can discuss this later"

Ezra wraps his hand around her waist and pulls her closer. He walks away towards Athena and Mateo who are looking only at them.

"You two look perfect. Hope you live enough to make babies and see them grow" says Athena.
Lea is shocked and looks up at Ezra confused and a bit scared.
"Hi, I am Athena. Ezra's biological mother and this Mateo, his biological father" says Athena.
"You look hot," says Mateo and Lea leans closer to Ezra creeped out by them.
"Now, time to introduceyou to the our world," says Athena excitedly.
"A few more minutes, please. I still need to say hi to my wife" says Ezra.
"That can wait," says Athena impatiently.
"I said, a few more minutes," says Ezra and walks away with Lea, but he looks back at Mateo once before leaving the banquet hall from the back door to the huge lawn with a cliff at its edge.
Athena was not pleased.
"Let me check on him," says Mateo who was about to walk away when Athena grips his arm.
"What is he playing?" Asks Athena.
"Let me go ask him," says Mateo, releases his arm and walks out, following Ezra.

"Hey, what was that?" Calls Mateo to Ezra who was standing pretty close to the cliff, away from the party.
"She wanted to introduce me to all of those people. Once everyone knows I am your son, I am finished. That's all I will be, your son. This is social suicide. This is not what I want for me. Not for Lea or my child" says Ezra.
"I am pregnant?" Asks Lea.
"Yes, love. You are pregnant" says Ezra like it was nothing.
Lea looks down at herself and says "I am a nurse. I should have known before you"
"You were busy planning the wedding," says Ezra with a smile.
"OMG. I am going to be a grandpa. And I have a hot-smoking daughter. This is so cool. You know what, fuck it. You leave with her and let's avoid these people. Go live your life" says Mateo.
"I came here for a reason," says Ezra.
Mateo shakes his head and says "You will have some very high profile witnesses if you did something stupid"
"He is smarter than that," says Athena from a distance. She walks close to them and says "You are not going anywhere. Neither of you are"
"Let them be Athena. He will still work for us, he just doesn't want anyone to know he is the son of the largest drug lords in the world" says Mateo and then looks at Lea and continues "We deal with guns, money laundering, human trafficking, and all the other stuff. But drugs are the most profitable"
Lea nods awkwardly and says "nice"

Athena approaches Ezra, holds his arm, and says "We are going to introduce you and your new bride to everyone. You will stay here with me and we will be one happy family. Now come on"
"No, I don't want any of this," says Ezra and removes his arm from her grip.
Athena was fuming and said "I don't like being said no. The people who said no, pay"
Athena removes a gun from between her thighs and points it at Lea.
"What? What did I do?" Asks Lea.
"She dies if you disagree with me," says Athena.

"Baby, you know I love you a little but you are too much and it's time your rein ends," says Mateo standing at a distance with his hands in his pocket looking at Athena.
Athena was confused at first and then felt a gun at the back of her head. Lea gasps and whispers "dad"

Arturo comes from behind Athena and says "Hello, Athena. You haven't changed. You still seem like the bitch you are"
"Hey, I still have some affection for her. Be nice" says Mateo.
"She sucked your dick real good?" Asks Arturo.
"Yeah, and it was less than 24hrs ago," says Mateo.
"Mateo. You are going to let him point a gun at me. Call our men" scolds Athena.
"So, you see the men were fed up with you. They wanted new management. I promised them a load of cash and free girls and boys to play. They don't mind you gone" says Mateo.
"I should have killed you in prison," says Athena.
Mateo had a hard expression and said "Don't you think I know you tried"

Athena looks around and sees no way out.
"Don't kill me and I'll let you leave the island alive" says Athena to Ezra.
"I am not leaving till I kill my mother's killer," says Ezra.
"ARTURO CHEATED ON LUCIA" shouts Athena.
"But I wouldn't have killed the mother of my son," says Arturo and punches Athena.
"Lucia didn't deserve me but she didn't deserve an early death either," says Arturo and points a gun at Athena which she kicks and runs away but stops at the edge of the cliff. She looks down and turns to look at everyone else who followed her.

Ezra points the gun at her and she says "You left Arturo alive. Leave me to. I promise I'll never contact you or come close to your family. I promise"
Ezra feels a hand on his shoulder and lowers the gun. He turns to look at Mateo and looks back one last time at Athena and walks away. He holds Lea close and watches Athena. It was like he was waiting. Arturo too was waiting, but for what?"
