Musa looks at Arturo, worried for his friend. Dr Jack Cooper, was a family friend and Arturo's doctor who was looking after him for the past year was now examining him.

"Whatever happened? You are fine now. Accept it or not, she saved you" says Dr Cooper and looks at Lea, and continues "So you are the new caretaker?"
"Yes," says Lea.
"No," says Arturo.

Lea's facial expressions soften and she says "Please hire me. I have nowhere else to go. I can't find a job and I need one"
"I like her. Still, it's your decision" says Dr. Cooper and stands up to leave but before he left, he says "I'll come back after a few hours to check on Arturo. If you are still here, we'll discuss his medication, diet, and everything else". He smiles and walks away.

Arturo was glaring at Lea and said "I don't want you anywhere close to me"
"She is your new caretaker. Like it or not" says Ezra staring at his father with all the hate in the world.
"You don't get a say in this," says Arturo with a foul face, mirroring Ezra's look.
"I do have a say and I say she stays," says Ezra and looks at Lea and his facial expressions soften. He continues to say "I trust her. I would trust her with my life"

"Definitely. I can manage any number of people at a time" says Lea enthusiastically.
Ezra and Arturo look at each other and put on a disgusted looks on their face and look away.

"We don't have a caretaker for now. Give her a chance for a few days till we find a replacement" says Musa looking at Arturo.
"What if she kills me at that time," says Arturo.
"Then it's win-win," says Ezra and continues to glare at Arturo.

Ezra walks out of the outhouse and into the mansion unable to stand Arturo's existence. Lea watches him and looks at Musa and says "Let me thank him. I'll be right back" and rushes behind him trying to catch up with his long strides. Musa looks at Daniel and Daniel nods and follows Lea.

Arturo thinks and says "didn't get a chance to look at her. I was trying to survive. She is clumsy and I don't like clumsy," says Arturo.
"You don't like anything," says Musa rolling his eyes and continues "I knew you would be an annoying old man. Didn't know it will be so early"
"I don't like you too," says Arturo.
"Shocker," says Musa sarcastically and helps Arturo sit up and continues "You should have killed Francis when you had a chance"
"I will the next time I see him," says Arturo placing his hand on his pillow beside him which has a gun under it.

"Sir" calls Lea from behind Ezra and catches on to him before he walked up the stairs. She stands in front of him and says "Thank you. I needed this job. I promise I'll do my best"

"Oh thank you. I am Lea" introduces Lea.
"I am a maid here and the head maid of the mansion, Ms. Marie is supervising the kitchen. So she sent me to attend to you. Come, let me show you the room" says Jasmine. And the most important thing about Jasmine was her warm smile which made Lea feel comfortable in this new place.
"Everyone is nice here," says Lea and looks up at the stairs where Ezra disappeared.

Lea got excited to see a bunk bed in Jasmine's room.
"Can I take the top?" Asks Lea.
"Sure. I sleep in the bottom anyways" says Jasmine and Lea climbs to the top of the bed and says "This is so cool. I can't break anything falling from here"
"Oooo... kk... " Says Jasmine confused.
Lea leaves her bags in the corner of the room, goes in search of some food, and then meets Arturo.

Lea walks out into the vast garden behind the mansion and sees the outhouse in the distance.  She looks around and on the first floor sees Ezra standing at the large window looking down at her. Arturo was glaring at Lea just like Ezra was a few minutes ago.

"Get used to it. They glare to communicate. Different glares mean different things" says Dr Cooper and Arturo growls listening to their conversations.
"Oh yeah, they growl too," says Dr. Cooper making Lea laugh out loud.

"Tell us about you, Lea," says Dr Cooper and Lea glances in the corner to see Musa had not left yet.
"I was raised by my maternal grandparents and my mother was mostly in and out of my life and I don't know my father. I liked nursing my grandparents so I studied hard and became a nurse. I also took care of my mom and five elderly in three years" says Lea.
"Five elderly in five years? You took care of them, all at one time?" Asks Musa.
"No. One per time. One died and then I was assigned the other, second died and then I got third.." starts Lea and Musa cuts him off and says "ok we get it. So where are your grandparents and mother?"
"Dead," says Lea.
"Aren't you lucky to have killed them all? So now what you have come to kill me?" Asks Arturo.
"I didn't kill anyone. They died. Death is inevitable and everyone has to die ultimately" says Lea.
"And you are sent to kill me," says Arturo.
"What did you do for someone to plan your death?" Asks Lea and the whole room goes silent.
"My only sin is that I trusted the untrustworthy," says Arturo, and Musa could see the pain in his eyes.
