Ezra stands in his place watching as the cops handcuff Musa. Musa and Ezra make eye contact and Musa was the first to look away. The cops take Musa away and the whole office stood silent watching their oldest, most hardworking colleague shamefully taken away by the cops.

Ezra walks back to his office and looks around to find Lea but she was nowhere to be found.

The proof Lea gave Ezra was surveillance footage of Musa walking in and out of the basement multiple times. In one it showed him tugging in a gun in his back pocket.

Lea didn't expect Ezra to call the cops immediately after seeing the footage. He showed the cops the footage and got Musa arrested before Lea could process what was happening. She left the office as soon she saw the first cop. She didn't even care about leaving behind her phone.

Arturo was annoyed like always and like from the past few months, the reason for his announcement was Lea.
"Come out" calls Arturo.
"No way. I feel safe here" says Lea from under Arturo's bed.
"Come out or I'll wet the bed and my urine will go through the bed and shower over you," says A,r, Turo, and Lea screams and crawls out. She looks at Arturo and the bed.
"The urine wouldn't reach me," says Lea examining the bed.
"Aren't you bright as a star" mocks Arturo.
Lea narrows her eyes at Arturo and walks away to take a seat on a chair.

"I don't care but I don't have anything else to do so, entertain me. Tell me what's wrong with you. What monster you are hiding from" says Arturo seated on his bed with his legs down.
Lea leaps out of her chair and sits beside Arturo and says "You will not believe what happened"
"I could hear you clearly from that chair," says Arturo.
Lea ignores him and says "So you know how I was feeling guilty about Daniel's death cause Ezra hit him because of me and then someone shot him?".
"Ok?" Says Arturo.
"So, I was snooping around to find who killed Daniel and found footage of Musa entering the basement few times and one time he was tucking his gun in his pants. I showed it to Ezra and he called the cops on Musa and the cops arrested Musa. I didn't think Ezra would call the cops on Musa" says Lea and waits for Arturo to react but did not expect him to wrap his fingers around her throat.
Lea tries to free herself but for a sick old man, Arturo was surely very strong.
"You fool," says Arturo and lets her go. Lea coughs to catch her breath and watches him call someone.
"You son of a bitch" yells Arturo and continues "You better fucking have a good explanation for what you did"
It was a no brainer he called Ezra.

Lea had not moved away from Arturo and watched him flare in anger. He looks at Lea beside him and says "You are a fool, just like your mother. Both couldn't keep your mouth shut"
Lea creases her eyebrows and asks "What did my mom do?"
"She exposed Arturo's true face to Lucia," says Fransis at the doorway of the outhouse.

Francis enters the outhouse and looks at Lea and smiles.
"Hello, sweetheart. How is my sweet little girl doing?" Asks Fransis and tries to touch her cheek but she moves away, closer to Arturo, and wraps her arms around his arm.
"I just choked you," says Arturo.
"I would rather die than let him touch me," says Lea and holds Arturo's arm real tight.

Arturo looks at Francis and asks "What are you doing here?"
"My brother is free from his enemies. I came to congratulate you" says Fransis.
"You are still alive," says Arturo.
"I have never been your enemy brother. Your true enemy who wanted you dead was Musa. He has always been the one to cause you pain and see you die a slow death" says Francis.
"And you are here to finish the work faster?" Asks Arturo.
Francis laughs and says "I don't want to dirty my hands with your blood"
"They are already dirty," says Arturo.
"I DIRTIED THEM FOR YOU" screams Francis and continues, "You think my conscience allows me to sleep or even look at Ezra for..." But he stops mid-sentence and looks at Lea.

"Confess" comes a voice from the doorway and all three in the room turn to look at Ezra standing at the threshold.
Francis gulps down and awkwardly laughs "Confess? What?"
"What did you do for your brother?" Asks Ezra.
"Oh, the things I have done, including hiding his secrets. Secrets like love affairs, hook-ups, getting drunk and hitting on cougars. The list goes on" says Francis and to distract everyone from the topic, he continues "I for once am happy I can meet my brother without Musa or anyone else stopping me"
"I don't want to see you," says Arturo.
"Come on bro. Let's leave the past behind us and look forward to the future" says Francis and smiles wide to continue "I came here to invite you to my wedding. Got a chick knocked up, so I have to marry her or she will charge me for rape"
"Sounds like a fairy tale," says Lea.
"You were born out of a fairy tale too, sweetheart," says Francis.

Francis leaves with a promise to return leaving a very angry Arturo.
"Musa would have never let Francis near me," says Arturo.
"What did Francis do for you that's enabling him to sleep at night?" Asks Ezra.
Arturo stands up and Lea lets his arm go. He stands in front of Ezra and says "You got no rights over me you piece of shit. Go do what you are told like the little bitch you are. And you better find a way to bring Musa out of prison or you will be thrown out on the streets where you should have belonged"
"You shouldn't talk to your son like that," says Lea and continues "especially when he is this handsome"
"Shut up," says Arturo and continues "You too are nothing but a drunken mistake. Fuck off you both"
"Whoes mistake?" Asks Ezra with his eyes flaring out the fire to burn Arturo.
"FUCK OFF. FUCK OFF" screams Arturo and suddenly holds his chest in a tight grip.

Arturo was hospitalized and kept in the critical care unit under the care of doctors. Lea couldn't stand the thought of herself and Ezra responsible for Arturo's condition.

After a long 12-hour wait, Arturo wakes up and looks at Lea who was the only one present in the hospital with him.
"You didn't need to scream," says Lea.
"I was angry," says Arturo.
"You shouldn't be angry and say things you can't take back. I mean, why would you say all that to your hot son" says Lea.
"He is not my son," says Arturo.
"Stop saying that. If he is not your son and who else is there to call your own?" Says Lea fixing his hair.
"You are," says Lea.
"I am just a caretaker," says Lea.
"No dumb fuck. You are my child. Ezra wants me to confess this to you. And here I am confessing. You are mine and Lucinda's daughter. I am your father. Your real biological father" says Arturo.
Lea stares at him to say it was a joke but he didn't.
"So Ezra is my brother? And wait, you said you never had sex with lucinda." Asks Lea.
"clearly I lied" says Arturo bored.
"what else did you lie, you lier lord" says Lea.

Arturo takes a deep breath and says "Lucia and I couldn't have kids, so after 5yrs of our marriage Lucia picked a random ugly kid from the streets and started raising him as her kid. She was obsessed with him and started ignoring my needs. So, when she hired Lucinda as a nanny, I took that as an invitation and started fucking Lucinda regularly. It was not planned and it was never meant to be. It started with just one night of raw spilled emotions. There was no love but still, we found ourselves in long nights of passionate lovemaking. Lucinda knew I didn't love her and she didn't tell anyone she was pregnant with my child until of course she did. She told her sister you were mine and that sister started dating Francis. Fransis told Lucia and everything went downhill from there. Lucia didn't like this and demanded a divorce. I couldn't give her a divorce cause if I did, that bitch would take everything I owned"

Arturo takes a deep breath and after a few more minutes he continues "Lucinda disappeared for the longest of time and I didn't care where she went but somewhere inside me, there was a voice wanting to see my child. I had decided to meet you and with my trusted men, I left to meet you but instead met with an accident. I lost all my trustworthy companions that day. The last one standing with me was Musa and he too is in prison now" says Arturo.
"So, you are my father," says Lea.
"Yeah, jerk or not. I am all you got" says Arturo.
"I don't like you now," says Lea and stands up from her place to leave.
"Wait, what? Why?" Asks Arturo.
"If you can't love the boy who has only seen you as his father for all his life. I can't imagine you even caring for me. I am not even mad at you for not being in my life but I am mad you denied to care for the boy who needed you to be his father when he lost his mother. You are a jerk and whoever is keeping you alive to die every day. He\she has my support. I too would like to see you die every day" says Lea and storms out of the room.

Lea enters the mansion and looks at the stairs. She looks up the stairs and without thinking, starts climbing up to reach the little boy who is reminded he doesn't belong where he is. She knocks on the door and turns the knob to enter the room.

Ezra was seated on the bed, in the dark holding something in his hand. He heard the knock and knew it was Lea. He waits for her to approach him and when she did, he looks up at her and she looks at him. To his surprise, she holds his shoulder and straddles his legs. She wraps her arms around his neck and kisses his lips. She breaks the kiss and says "I don't want us to be alone. Wanna be with me?"
Ezra smiles and holds her close to turn her and lay her on the bed.
"Marry me," says Ezra.
