14 - Drunk
Tony walked to Loki, who had been reading a book about Norse mythology.
"Hey. You've been invited to a party. Wanna come?"
Loki looked up from his book. "Invited by, whom?"
Tony pointed at himself.
Loki smiled, closed his book, and gave Tony a hug. "Finally, you're out of that stupid lab!"
"You think you're strong enough to go?"
Loki held his hands out in a way of shrugging.
Tony smiled.

loki wore, what he thought, he looked best in. A completely black suit.
Surprisingly, most of the people at the party didn't recognize him. Since his face haddent been on camera, and if it was it had been very small, only one or two people noticed. And if they did, Tony would explain what happened in as little detail as possible.
Tony and Loki clinked glasses. "To the most gorgeous man in the world?"
Loki held his glass and nodded, a goofy look on his face.
Thor laughed.
The Avengers were sitting in a circle. Mjolnir was on a table in the middle of them. Loki was sitting next to Tony, a new stain on his shirt.
"Who should ever be he worthy shall haveth the power! Whatever man, its a trick!" Clint spun a chopstick in his hand as he talked.
"Trust me, I've *Hic* done it before."
"Please, be my guest."
Everyone went silent.
"-really?"
"Yes, go ahead!"
"Clint, you've had a tough week, we won't hold it against you if you can't get it up."
Everyone laughed.
Hawkeye grabbed Mjolnir and pulled. It looked as if it was cemented to the table.
"Silent judgement."
"Please, stark, by all means."
"Okay, it's just physics."
Tony pulled. It didn't budge.
"Be right back."
Tony used his glove.
Still didn't move.
Tony sat back down. Loki pit his face on Tony's sholder and hiccuped, "you *Hic* smell like oranges."
"Loki, you're drunk."
"Well, yo-oou can't *Hic* stop me."
Bruce tried. He yelled as he did it, everyone stairing at him as he did it.
Steve pulled. It moved a Tony bit, wiping the smile off Thor's face.
Steve put his hands up and walked back to where he was sitting.
"Whoever is carrying Thor's fingerprint, that's my theory."
"Oh, yes that is a very interesting theory. I have a simpler one." Thor picked up his hammer with ease. "You're not worthy."
Everyone laughed.
But they heard a sort of screeching noise.
A broken robot limped towards the group like a zombie.
The only thing that could be heard was Loki's soft hiccupping.
"No." It said, facing them. "How could you be worthy? You're all killers."
"Stark?"
"Jarvis?"
"I'm sorry, I was asleep. Or, it was a dream."
Tony mumbled something under his breath.
"Oh, this terrible noise, and I was tangled and, the strings."
Everyone staired at the robot.
"I had to kill the other guy. He was a good guy."
Steve looked at the broken robot. "You killed someone?"
"Wouldn't have been my first call. Plus, down in the real world were faced with ugly choices."
Thor spoke. "Who sent you?"
They heard a metalic version of Tony's voice. "I see a suit of armor around the world."
"Wait, there's *Hic* two Tony's?"
Bruce realized. "Ultron."
"In the flesh. Or, no, not yet. Not this... Christmas. But I'm ready."
A gun clicked and Thor strengthened his grip on Mjolnir.
"I have a mission."
Natasha got up. "What mission?"
"Peace in our time."
