"K-Kaneki Ken?" I repeated as my eyes widen, now I became completely self aware of what was happening right now.

1 I just yelled to my crush and called him a lunatic(well that's actually both so..)

2 My stomach was grumbling, like a beast wanting to escape

3 I'm half naked and he saw something that he wasn't suppose to see!

Very uncomfortable silence enveloped us
As we said nothing, eyes never once connected. After a couple more minutes had passed, still nothing. He looked to the side ,I stared at the cold concrete floor.

"Kaneki/Yuna-chan" we both said at the same time. Still not meeting our eyes. My palms felt sweaty as a coughed out the words.

"C-Come in" I motioned my wobbly arms to a welcoming manner. "You must be cold out t-there." My small heart was now beating fast while clutching the towel very firmly as it could ever doing this was out of the ordinary. Even for seeing the man I liked, I never let anyone in my home.

"Ok" was his only reply. Before I left the door open and ran to my pint sized room. Grabbing some clothes that were less revealing than before.

"What in the hell was I going to do now?" I pouted at this turn of strange events.

While the young college student entered the house hesitantly he noticed how lonely the house felt.

Unknowingly he scanned the dark semi living room and kitchen,
Dust was collected from a wooden counter top with picture frames of Yuna and her parents smiling slightly . Remembering this Yuna was a only child and that her family was broken even before she started highschool.

On his right.
The kitchen had not been used very often as he had seen molds on the sink. And in the glass cup board shows that she was really living alone with a small bowl, a set of chopsticks and a black plastic cup.

The house was half clean yet the feeling of emptiness lingered through the damp air as it circulated the living room. How could she be a cheery person after all this? He thought to himself.

He knew he couldn't even handle it, both of his parents left this corrupted world long ago, leaving him in the process. But he had Hide to stay with him but, who was Yuna's moral support? The pillar of sanity, the grip on reality?

The boy made a promise to himself that he would make Yuna happy giving his best to make her part of his world.

"Kaneki-kun?" Yuna called to the raven haired boy as she entered her living room. Wearing a large pink faded shirt that had a Hello Kitty print in the back and knee high black shorts .A towel hung from her slender neck

While Kaneki was sitting in the couch holding a picture frame of her and her late father. Yuna was probably seven at that time, she had pig tails Kaneki never saw Yuna tie up her hair in the past and she was a having a piggy back ride while showing a toothy grin and her dad had a closed eyed smile as he held her daughter's fragile hands.

Yuna didn't get a reply seeing as Kaneki was deep in thought. Slowly she slid right next to him. Noticing this Kaneki made odd gestures—his arms started flailing like he had been caught in the act of doing some thing out of the ordinary. Which was not like him at all.

"T-this isn't what it looks like Yuna-chan!" He couldn't keep his cool upon seeing the brown haired artificial ghoul.

Kaneki placed the picture frame from where he got it and looked at the other direction again this was becoming a habit over him as he was always with Yuna. She chuckled at his statement. She was happy, that he was here, even though the gnawing monster was calling out her once again.

"It's ok Kaneki-kun" she softly said as her eyelids suddenly felt heavy for some reason.

"Oh yeah, I hadn't had a good nights sleep since I was discharged" A quick fact surfaced as the awkward boy made his way to the nearby couch.

"Yuna-chan, can you come here please?" The man ushered her to sit next to him.

Yuna followed his suggestion and followed in suit and sat near The cute male.

She yawned more loudly, her hand covered it, Kaneki gulped in a breath, he leaned slightly next to Yuna offering his shoulder where she can take swarm nap.

"Here" patting his right shoulder to make her come closer to him. "Get some some rest, I'll stay here for a while until you fall asleep. " He snatched a throw pillow and readjusted his shoulder so Yuna can lie comfortably on his shoulder.

Pink tickled her ears as Kaneki made that adorable gesture.
"Sure" she was uncertain of what to do next as they awkwardly lay next to Kaneki and his head was below hers, while hearing him breathing.

The warmness of his breath made her spine tingle. Wanting to do something else ,with a slow turn of her head, making sure to giving out much movement as possible the young girl saw his innocent like face as he was now fast asleep for an unknown reason

"He's must be tired too." She whispered and followed in his sleep.

I wonder why?

The warm sun seeped through the blinders. Lighting the small room and revealing the two teens sleeping soundly in the comfy couch.

Kaneki laid flat on his back on the couch and hugged Yuna gently,Yuna rested her head in his skinny chest. Her warm body made his heart skipped multiple beats even though he was still in slumber.

The girl smiled in her sleep as she clutched the boy's shirt delicately— tight. Smelling the sweet scent radiating from the  raven hair, made her mouth water unaware,A light grumble made from the depths of her hungry pits made Yuna awoken, halfway---though.

She didn't want to wake up, the warm surface she rested on felt
to sleep over for an eternity but, forever cannot last like they say. With one encouraging cheer from her unconscious self, a light moan escaped her lips signalling that she has awoken for good

Lazily, her eyelids fluttered open, a small squeal spilled her small mouth. Red flushed her cheeks, seeing their position made her now ghoul heart beat fast. Kaneki was still sleeping of course, Yuna stared at him gently with a bit of arousal , their breathing were in synch. Feeling his hot breath in her already reddened face made the hairs in her back shot straight up.

"What if I hurt him?". As question was formed brown haired ghoul ."What if, this being who is inside of me consumes me and causes harm to the one I like? no, I can't let that happen, I will become strong"

"Yes, I will become strong, for him"

I will protect him with all my strength I can gather

I will control this power

I want him to stay by my side

I will do what I must

To be with him

After a slow nod, she had steeled her resolution, she stared into her crush's angelic structure, it was know his turn to wake up.

"Ken-kun, wake up please"she softly said with a gentle shift of her hands she grabbed then shook his arms .Still no movement from the heavy snorer.

"Ken" She said again with the hint of annoyance. Still no reply, now her eyebrows were scrounged up in his snoring silence.

"Oi Kaneki!" She yelled while she still laid on his chest disregarding their cozy position. The startled Kaneki, bolted his steele gray eyes, due to Yuna's wake up call, shifting his body to sit up straight making Yuna sit in the same position as him. So the two sat in that brown couch, now they were facing each other

"Yuna-chan?, What's the problem?" Scratching his head with utmost confusion, his hair was a mess but he let it be.

"Time to wake up, you're gonna be late to your classes." Yuna clutched his white shirt as if contradicting what she said through her actions. Saying Don't go I want you here.

"Will you be alright after I leave?" He asked with full concern in his deep voice.

"Yes, I'll be fine." She shyly said as she tucked a strand of her coffee colored hair to her ear, using her pale yet bony fingers. Which awe struck him in the oddest way, seeing Yuna's bed hair, was appealing for him even arousing.

The boy fell silent—thinking odd thoughts that made him have the tint of fuschia in his pale cheeks.

"Well, you better get going, you must be busy and all" She turned her head to the side no staring at the wooden coffee table "Going to a university for the geniuses is pretty hard you know."

Kaneki was silent.

"Hey" the half ghoul waved her hands at Kaneki to get his attention. It wasn't working .

He was still thinking the odd thoughts.

Yuna was now angered again due to the boy's obliviousness, She puffed her cheeks and opened her mouth widely. "Hey!, Kanek!"

She yelled once more, right into his ear left ear which greatly startled him. As he jumped from where he was seated. But, returned from where he sat as the seconds passed.

"I'm sorry!Yuna" He positioned his hands, as if saying to calm down from her shouting early in the morning .He adjusted he position to a comfortable one, which is to say he sat 90 degrees straight, not a single hint of slouching.

A small smirk appeared in Yuna's features, for the first time she smirked,Kaneki didn't notice this ,as he has known her to be innocent with out other dark intentions. She pulled him close by grabbing his collar like she did before. Their foreheads were centimeters away but , it never collided. Her breath was warm, he stared at her pinkish lips as she said every word slowly.

"Go to school, baka Kaneki-kun" Yuna said in kinda seductive way. Well for the boy with the black hair that is, his heart beated a million miles minute. The words seem odd to him, he never heard her say that kind off stuff until now.

They stayed like that for no apparent reason .Yuna, still holding Kaneki's shirt and staring to his gray orbs, and for the young male not knowing what else to to do nor say. So like the typical Kaneki would do, his cheeks flushed with the vibrant color of red.

She batted her long eyelashes, knowing that she had won something, Yuna was the one to break from their precarious contact and stood up, walking three steps away, her back faced Kaneki —He sat there dumbfounded.

From behind, Yuna could feel Kaneki's unwavering glare. She felt her cheeks rising to a boil, red was now painted in her features. Lucky for her the raven haired boy couldn't see her.

"What the hell was that?!" She asked herself an odd question. "Why did I do that?, now his gonna think I'm a........."

"No! its not like that! I'm not that kinda girl!!" She yelled again from the top of her lungs and stomped both her feet like a crazy person.

She angrily scratched the back of her head in complete and utter frustration. The intense motion made her hair more frizzy. Kaneki flinched as she shouted to thin air This was becoming weird for him. Than the usual.

"Maybe Yuna's just tired, she probably needs some space to sort things out." With a quick nod in agreement to himself, while the artificial ghoul's back still faced him.

"Yuna, I better go now you need some rest after these past few days, right?"

Yuna did not respond to Ken's question.

"Well..." the raven haired boy started to say as he snatched his shoes from the cabinet and headed to the door taking along his jacket from the coat rack which he removed last from night. "I'll be back later, take care Yuna" He forced out his signature awkward smiled before bowing and completely closing the door.

-Yuna--
I blinked thrice as I realized what I've done, I think, that i have forgotten my medication, and Kaneki Ken has gone. With a quick slide to the wooden cabinet I took out my meds, grabbing a large water bottle from the fridge.

With an odd look I stared at my prescriptioned drugs "Wonder if it will work even though I'm a now ghoul?"

"Well, hear goes nothing!" With a flick of my hand I gobbled the two blue pills in my hand and drank the the contents of the bottle in 5 seconds flat.

Well..that didn't taste bad, guess it worked. I shrugged the horrible feeling off.

"Well Yuna, time to get your life back on track again" I talked to my reflection while I fixed my brown hair that I noticed was turning black." Oh well, I'll just trim it this when I get back" I said to my self again as I held the darkened strands.
With that, I swiped my red coat and exited my home,locking it of course.
