A man of nineteen with ebony hair, stares at his mirror intensely. He held a container that's supposedly to be wax, you could tell his eagerness by styling up for a very important, official date with a highschool crush from the past.

He had many plans that of late noon. Yoshikawa Yuna is a special girl to him that is. A certain grinning orange haired male strode to Ken's bed. The smile never left his young face.

He plopped in Kaneki's bed chuckling light at his friend "Wow, My little Buddy's all grown up!" He teased, he happy for his best friend yes, indubitably true.

He's being normal, that's the best thing to ever happen. Nagachicka thought. Heck, Kaneki was having dates with girls than he has. Though he too had no experience with them.

Ken nodded to his slight teasing "Yeah..it's weird isn't?" He fixes his collar.

"What is?" Hideyoshi tilted his head to the side.

"I'm actually nervous..This is my second date. (Added that their
hotshots) But, I'm still uneasy about all of this " He lowers his gaze to the floor.

Hideyoshi rises from Kaneki's bed, and walks towards to the owner. He clasped the male's right shoulder, his eyes shone a gleam of faith in him.

"You know Kaneki, the date's going to be a blast" He gave him a reassuring nod "The only thing you Ken Kaneki should know is that.."

"You should be you, that want people like being true to yourself especially Yoshikawa if you change that..then how will she like you?" Hide had a more sincere yet, serious look on his face.

After a stare down with his close friend, Kaneki nods to him "Well, if you say that kind of things..then I'll trust your opinion" Ken fixes his hair back to the way of was. Normal. Through looking at the mirror, Hideyoshi was by his side. "Thanks for being here for me" He glanced at his friend with a smile

"I'll always be here for you, Kaneki" He grinned to his bestfriend.

The alarm in his phone beeped loudly. He snatched it from his pocket and opened the thing wth a small click.

Immediately, Kaneki felt like cold water had washed over him "Oh no.." Was all he could say at that moment. It was already 5:39 in the afternoon! The time was set at 6 and it took and hour and a half to get here from Anteiku.

Kaneki hurriedly puts on his see green jacket and slips on his shoes whilst grabbing his sling bag. In one action.

"Hide! Lock up the place before you go alright?" Kaneki lightly shouted on his way out. He didn't wait for his friend's reply and continued on about down to the stairs.

"Sure.." Nagachicka lazily said, as he plopped to Ken's bed and watched some television. Getting worked up by a girl sounds really...strange and fun? He thought.

Kaneki hails in a cab, swooping again at his wrist watch. Five forty "I really hope I still have time" He whispers to himself "Sir? Can this thing go any faster" He asked in a trembling voice.

"Yer got a problem?" The taxi driver turned to see Kaneki. He had a wrinkly face with a scar on his right eye and a loose tooth on his left side of his smelly mouth. "N-nothing" he slowly looked at the side window.

"It was 12:37pm and I still haven't decided what to were for our date."

"The blue? Or the red? Which one? " I talked to my mirror, I don't even know! I threw the clothes, I was holding and exasperated with a big sigh ."This is very, very ,very confusing " I massaged my head it really hurt.

This is the first time I'm going out with an actual boy , and I have no experience. And the boy I'm gonna date is my highschool crush. Oh my, this feels like an afternoon drama.

"Its 5:20," I glanced at the wall clock as I lay in my messy bed until it sunk in.

"ITS FIVE TWENTY ALREADY! THE DATE'S AT SIX! I'M GOING TO BE LATE!"

I quickly put on some clothes that were the closest from reach and put them on. I looked at my mirror

A white button-down shirt, paired up with black skater shorts and knee length black socks with two white rings at the end. A blue hoodie jacket and my trusty old black sneakers.

I look good, hope Kaneki likes my outfit. A small smile crept up my face. But that quickly faded, what if he doesn't like it?

"As, that's not going to happen" Shaking that terrible thought away. His feelings won't change to my appearance,right?

I locked the door and with a crazy grin hurriedly ran to Anteiku. I'm so excited for this date.

As I was nearing my destination someone called out to me, I turned looking for the person who called for me but, no one was there, when I turned back to head to my destination, a woman with light violet hair was in front of me. It was the girl from before, the woman Kaneki had a date with it.

"Rize Kamishiro" I mumbled before looking at her directly. I balled up my fists. I felt uneasy for some reason.

"Hello" she waved happily with a closed eyed smile at me "Can I talk with you for a sec? I need to tell you something" leaning close to my ear, she said with a whisper almost as if she were hiding something.

"Can't we do it another time? I'm meeting someone" Impatiently, I looked at the time. It was now 5:47 I'm pretty late for the date.

As I continued my walk Rize followed me. I sped up my walking and so did Rize. We were now at the intersection Kamishiro was still behind me. I waited for the red light to change color. Rize and I were meters one another. My fidgeting foot was tapping at the cold hard concrete. Somehow I felt uneasy

The green I awaited for appeared and the people started moving. I too joined the crowd and slipped out of sight. I hope Rize doesn't follow me any more.

I ran passed through crowds passed to through busy sidewalks
I am extremely late, though it was three it was somewhat odd the it was already dark out the lights of Tokyo shined so bright. It felt as if the sun was still there.

I was making up scenarios that I would say to Kaneki, While I kept running like there was no tomorrow.

Scenario 1
As I entered the quaint shop I immediately rush over to Kaneki's side and say sorry for being late and other stuff.

Scenario 2
I slowly entered the cafe and made my way to Kaneki and sit next to him, leaning against his shoulder and saying
"Ken, I'm sorry got a little bit caught up with something"
And grab the chance to hold his hand.

Scenario 3

I make my way up to Anteiku take a deep breath a say what really happened. That I had a hard time choosing what to wear for this special occasion and I bumped into Rize which is why I'm late sorry Kaneki for making you wait. I lightly touch his hand and wait for his reply.

I'm taking number 3 it suits me better. As I was three blocks away from the shop I took a light no, heavy breather.

Almost there

Just a few more steps and I'll be seeing him yet again. I smiled at the thought. Until, something strong dragged me away from the lit street, pulling me into the dark alley it had bright red beady eyes and then I realized that it wasn't a thing, it was a person.

Rize Kamishiro and it came to me it, as if a brick wall slammed my head.

No, wait it actually came to me, my head slammed in the cold solid brick wall, the was pain excruciating. I felt hot red liquid streaming down my face. I couldn't think straight, much less breath. I was now on the floor, my body couldn't move,it was as if every bone and tendon in my small body was broken and torn apart.

Rize was a...ghoul?

"Hello again!" Her smile didn't change when she first greeted me earlier. She was smiling happily while she was looking at my bloody body.

"You took away my snack" her innocent smile still unwavering. "Now I'm going kill you."

She took her liquid muscle which is known as a Kagune, four red tentacles appeared, the liquid muscles grabbed my ankles. And she dragged me like a rag doll over the dark alley

Searing pain took over my body, I couldn't do anything she was a ghoul and I was a human. My mind was fuzzy, as I recalled my memories with him. I'm not gonna get to see the boy black haired boy I had a crush with, the guy who was always awkwardly quite but was immensely compassionate I'm not gonna see Kaneki anymore, a tear dropped from my cheek. This horrible outcome has made my body numb from any pain I felt back then, Not seeing that adorable, innocent again was horrible to bear in mind.

For some reason I realized something, Rize kills me, goes after Kaneki and kills him too who would protect him?

I need the strength, I need the courage I need...a..weapon?
When I felt the grip loosen. I tried to scan my surroundings, I was now at a construction site. Where can I find a weapon?

Rize threw me four feet in mid air, and I slammed in a plastic barrier. Which caused me to cough up another bucket full of blood.

It was there, I see it. Its now or never.

I reached for the ballpoint pen that was at my left side ,and stabbed one of the tentacles the surprise was enough to escape from her tentacles. The adrenaline was taking over. That strange plan had worked like a charm. Partially.

"No way! No way! No way! No way I'm not gonna die here!"I screamed my heart out, he's waiting for me! I have to get there. I was almost out of the nightmare which Rize made.

Then something grabbed my ankle once more."Got you~ "she said with a sweet smile. And threw me again in the plastic barrier and this time it broke along with my other unbroken but now broken bones.

Blood was now running everywhere, I tried to get up crawled even, just to get away from the monster who was trying to kill me.

"Miss Yuna!" She yelled not afar and jumped as high as she can go. The two of her of her four pulsing tentacles grabbed my weakening arms. She was giggling while she pierced a huge hole in my torso with the other two, blood squirted from my mouth.

I wailed, unbearable stings filled my partially lifeless body while Rize continued her torture. She was still giggling from what was happening.

"Well this is so fun!" She exclaimed with pure happiness, clapping her hands together, her laugh was full of innocence like that of a child. But, underneath that laugh pure malice darkened her already corrupted mind.

"Now I'm gonna scramble your insides for you now, to bad I didn't chose Kaneki first then Oh, well you can be the main course of this week and Mr. Kaneki kan be my dessert later on"
She walked closer to me.

The sound of support cables snapping was clear to hear, in a sudden rush, the clanging of metal beams fell. Surprising Rize and killing her instantly.

The young bleeding Yoshikawa, was losing her grip on life, her vision was becoming blurry, turning into tiny black spots until completely turns into a one hole slop of darkness.

"Hey did you hear that?"

"There's a person in here, she's in the beams."

"Oh god this ones bleeding to death, call 911!"

---Yuna---

I'd dreamed I was underwater, in the sea perhaps, somehow I could breath, I was rising to the surface. The light was so close I could almost touch it.

"Prepare the organ transplant!" Some one said in a male voice it was distant.

"But Doctor, without the next of kin consent?" Said another distant voice, possibly female.

"Organ? Next of kin?" All I remember is that I was on my way to Anteiku. What are they talking about?

"Doctor Kanou!" The disembodied voice yelled.

"I will take full responsibility, Now transplant the organs into her!"

In the bottom of the sea someone was emerging too. A young female possibly in her early twenties.

She was coming to me, the woman held onto my hand and positioned her herself at my back. She used her free hand to block my vision.

It feels warm. Is this it? A smile tugged my lips.

I'm not a protagonist of novel or anything I'm just living my life the way I want to. I want to live my life in peace. But, for arguments sake if someone would write a story about me.

It would certainly be...
