He tried to call 9-1-1 before the gun went off, it was a miracle the bullet went into the phone instead of his head..... You thought he was dead with the blood around his head when he hit the ground.

Atticus was unconscious for seventeen days after fragments of the smartphone ended up embedded in his brain... the moment he woke up he shut his eyes groaning. " It's not painful... but it's. .."

The nurse explained some of the fragments could never be removed, the surgery was too much of risk especially in the most fragile areas of his brain.

You noticed the scar starting from above his right ear ending over his eye. The stitches were still fresh but part of it seemed to shimmer. Warm to the touch.

"I know I was supposed to call you if anything unusual happened...but this thing changed me. I can do things... Things a phone couldn't do.."

"Think of what I see  do like a echolocation. What bats and dolphins can do in the sense you  can know what  it is  but can't understand it. You could never experience it as a regular human being."

"I can access anything electronic now... I can record, photograph what I see, I can look through any database with just my head.... It's not even just hacking I can just do it..I think it, I find it know it.."

He let out a small spark from his fingertips." I can make it as painful or weak as you want it to be. five feet at most."

"I don't feel bad about what I did and I don't like it.."

"My mind it already changed. I think it's still evolving...."

"I'm not looking through your messages. I can't do that." "I intercepted his message and deleted his photo before he could do a thing "

The phone was a gift. He received it the same morning his life changed forever.

"All they've done is ruin people.." Atticus was able to rat them out after they committed crimes, setting them up against each other.

"If I don't have a signal I can't do much..."  You remembered what he told you when he was bound in the warehouse. You had to fight as he tried to push his limits and save you both.

"You know how phones can overheat?  I can make the ones in their pockets explode.."

"I'm not the guy in the chair. I'm the in who hits them with it.."

" I have to hold a phone while I'll talk and it'll look weird.. I can call without it but without an earpiece I'll look weird."

"It's a small force field around me..... The blades get messed up around me but bullets could kill me.."

He fried everything electrical in the house they were using after leading them away.

His skin started to shimmer,  to glow as the lights went out. Data all over him.. Obscuring his features, making people think he was a mutant or someone with a good mask.

He tapped the side of his head when you asked if he had a phone." Yes I have one."

"I saw what they did... I found the videos and they made me sick."

"This isn't revenge."

"Sometimes I don't even have to do anything. It's like a disassociate state.. It does it for me.."

"I took every cent out of the account.... All the.money.."

He made the car fill either smoke, the engine going up in flames with the windows and doors shut.
"Everything's open to me.."

"I'm not a freak.."
"They think it was funny... When they were calling out names that's when I heard it.."

"I shouldn't care if they don't know any better. They deserve this.."

"Its always cheating when I hear a question or glance at something and know the right answer. I could gain a lot from this..".

Yes it was wrong. It was stealing. It was fraud. It was wrong. But I didn't feel bad about it.

"I can make the tests, the calls seem like they came from anyone..."

I have names for it all. ISkin for when there's a little field around me. IBrain for when I access things..... "

"I didn't mutate, the pieces of the phone did in my head."

When everyone was looking at the screen Atticus uploaded new footage showing the worst of someone, who they where underneath the illusion during the conference.  

"I know what happened because I know what was on the phone."
