Three werewolves in their human forms ran with through the woods as fast as they could. The two men, alpha and beta on each side of the pregnant woman, struggling to keep up. Running so desperately at nine months pregnant isn't ideal but it's much needed.

One particular man back at the pack turned everyone against them, so much for loyalty and trust and alpha and his mate were chased out the pack and his loyal Beta, and cousin Nathan followed them.

Wolves growling and howling in search for these three heading into the woods desperately needing to get away. The alpha Nim Sungho could easily end this but his pregnant mate was more important as her life and their unborn child's life was at risk.

They came first no matter what.

A more familiar growl which sounds so close to the trio echoed through the woods in pure hate and anger that quickly followed by yet another. The beta Nathan quickly turned around to face these wolves to defend his Luna and alpha from the threat and let go of the woman's arm to throw himself in front of another wolves jaws.

That wolf so happened to be the brother of the alpha, Nim Hyunwoo and the leader of this sudden rebellion all because their child is destined to be different yet she is still of wolf blood just because she is different.

Hyunwoo jumped onto Nathan, clamping jaws down on the mans shoulder as he let out a loud scream at the impact to his shoulder. Falling to the floor in a tumble but gripping onto the wolf so he wouldn't chase after his alpha and luna but this gave the second wolf there, the second in command to this rebellion, Marcus to chase after his alpha and pregnant mate.

The alpha upon seeing this picked up his mate, Deiji up in his arms and took off running as fast as he could but unfortunately for him not as fast as he normally could. His right ankle had a massive wound that was gaping open from already being attacked by another wolf in which he killed with no hesitation even if he was a pack member. His mates life was threatened.

Marcus charged towards the couple keeping up close until he noticed the way the alpha was wounded and was slowing down. He took this opportunity to jump up and bounce off a tree just to jump off the very same tree and push his two front paws to the alphas back and making him tumble to the floor but protectively wrapping his body around his mate so she wouldn't get hurt. Maybe a few bumps along the hard forest floor but not much further could be done about that.

Marcus stood over the alpha, so close to snapping his jaws in the mans face as he tried to grasp was just happened but Deiji growled at him and pushed him away but grabbing the snout of his nose and the side of his neck and tossing him away like it was that easy. She is the luna after all even if she was scared and heavily pregnant.

The wolf jumped back up to his feet, now with a sore paw after landing to the floor hard in a bad position but however before he could make another move he heard his leader Hyunwoo tell him to hang back and come for Nathan who was now passed out due to his injures. Marcus was to take Nathan back to the pack to show him who really is the boss around here and to most importantly break him.

Marcus did as told and ran off, taking his sights off the woman cupping her mates cheeks and kissing him repeatedly as she cries in distress to see her mate already look so defenceless. He was already so weak that he could barely get up after being put down because of his injuries that were getting the best out of him.

Once Marcus disappeared, Deiji quickly stumbled up to her feet and pulled up her mate by the shoulder and forced him to stand back up before Hyunwoo shows up which could be soon but luck was on Deiji side. When they fell to the floor it so happens that she found a couple of Laveneder flowers that mess with a wolves nose and can be used to hide your scent. Keeping those flowers in hand and her mate tightly in her hold, she made sure that she and Sungho were quick on their feet to get moving.

Deiji not only needed to protect her unborn child but also her mate who was on the verge of passing out. He didn't look great at all. Pale and cold to the touch, bleeding from his nose and ear and not to mention to blood loss from his ankle and multiple gaping bite marks and claw marks over his body. Deiji is sensing her mate was fading away panicked all the more and ended up having to drag him towards what she could hear was a river near by. Perfect for also hiding so Hyunwoo wouldn't hear then so well either.

One the other side Hyunwoo showed up to where Marcus said he had left them and where their scent stops. Sniffing around he couldn't catch their scent anymore and anger built up within himself. He didn't want that child to live, he couldn't let that happen. However in his rage he could only howl in this defeat but promise that he will find them again and end them for sure next time. A promise he will never let go even if it kills him.

Deiji now at the river could hear the loud howl admitting defeat and she sighed in relief and sat on the a rock, holding her mate in her arms, supporting his head as he could barely keep his eyes open. She kept crying, kissing him as if that will give him the boost he needed like it always has done but not this time. He was dying and she knew this but didn't want to accepted the true fact.

Across the river she spotted a cabin, with lights on and smoke coming from the chimney of the small house. Lights on meant people and those people could help them.

So with what hope she had, she stood back up carefully and took her mates hands to pull over his shoulder so his chest was to her back but unfortunately he was too tall to carry fully on her back to she had no choice but to drag him through the water that wasn't deep nor fast in current. She made it to the other side, sniffing back her tears and eye determined on getting to this cabin. It was their last chance to get the help they needed, more importantly for her mate.

Inside the cabin was a young couple, minding their own business and getting ready for bed as they do every night. Unaware of the wolf couple just a few feet away from the door. That was until Deiji had made it to the door and pounded on the door desperately in need for assistance. The human couple, Mr and Mrs Wang were startled at first but either way answered the door together as their curiosity got the better of them.

Upon opening the door Mr and Mrs Wang were shocked beyond belief to see a young woman about the same age, crying in distress, and holding onto a man that was very badly beaten, and clearly clinging onto dear life.

"Please, help us." Deiji

That's all that was needed before the Wangs sprung into action.

Mr Wang took the man from the pregnant woman and carried him into the dining room to place carefully on the table. Mrs Wang assisted Deiji inside and asked her to sit down but the woman didn't want to leave her mate, she was stubborn and wanted to stay by his side so there was no argument there and Mrs Wang didn't want to make her even more upset than she already was.

"Eric, go get my medical supplies from the cupboard. He needs medical assistance now!" Mrs Wang

Her husband nodded and ran to the kitchen as Mrs Wang came to the table to rip off Sungho's shirt in one move. Eric came running back through to help his wife try and help this dying man as she is a trained nurse and yet all Deiji could do was watch helplessly as the couple try to save his life.

One hand on her breaking heart as she could feel through their bond her mate was dying and another on her belly as she could feel their child move around in there unaware to the true horror going on. Only to feel the distress from the mother.

Eric, as he assisted his wife tried to get this woman talking as they worked on the man, stopping the bleeding and trying to bring up his temperature as well as stitch him up. All she would speak about was her name, his name and that they were mates to which neither of the couple understood what that meant but didn't question it yet.

Deiji became desperate as the time went on, pleading for him to stay alive for her and their baby but in the end it proved no use. Her mate, Alpha Sungho had surrendered to his injuries and passed away on the table. The couple looked at each other defeated but that was nothing compared to the wailing of this woman feeling her heart break into two as her bond crumpled to pieces with the loss of her mate. Her water broke there and then and Mrs Wang once more sprung into action seeing the puddle on the floor but Deiji was too busy crying and grieving to notice.

Both Eric and Quinn had to take her to the living room as that was the furthest this woman was willing to go away from her mates body once she realised that the baby was coming now. There was no stopping it and soon enough her heart held on to make sure this baby comes into the world the way this baby is suppose to.

The labour was actually surprising quick and despite Deiji's loss she managed to give birth to a beautiful little girl. They knew she would be a girl and they had planned to call her Hope, because they believed that she would bring Hope to their people later in life and be a great person one day even if she was born to have no wolf.

Deiji in holding her little girl in her arms for the first time was bitter sweet. If only Sungho could of seen this, all she could think about was how excited he was to become a dad. Deiji felt a great gratitude to these strangers that have already done so much for her in the last hour compared to what some of her own people have down for her, her entire life and these are human strangers. She wanted to repay them back and she already noticed the leaflets about adoption and such on the living room table.

Watching the couple clean up, she knew what she had to do. As a Luna wolf, she can sense good people when she sees them. It was for the best.

Deiji could feel her body shutting down as she hugs her baby in her arms peacefully looking up to the world around her without any clue to what was really going on. In Deiji's eyes she had never seen anything so beautiful in her life other than her mate but this was different.

"Can you take her and make her your own?" Deiji

The couple froze in their actions in the living room and Quinn just looked at the new mother in shock.

"Excuse me? I'm sorry but did I miss hear you?" Quinn

Deijis breathing became short and heavy and her energy failing rapidly.

"I said can you please take her and treat her as your own? I know good people when I see them and I know you would all give my daughter a great life." Deiji

Quinn got down to her knee beside Deiji and pushed back some of her hair away from her face.

"What are you talking about? She's got you." Quinn

She pressed a smile to the crying mother who shook her head and slowly passed over the baby to Quinn knowing she cant hold her any longer.

"No, without my mate I cant. I cant go on without him, it's too breaking for me to be here. Please just protect her for me. I love her so much just please promise me that you'll treat her as your own. Promise?" Deiji

Quinn could only stare into Deijis pleading eyes that started to droop which made Quinn panic but deep down knew this woman was willing to go on her own terms.

"Yes I promise. I'll treat her and love her like my own daughter. I promise you that." Quinn

She spoke only with full honestly and determination. Deiji cracked a smile, sensing this woman spoke confidently and truthfully towards her. Taking one last breath and closing her eyes to fall into the abyss of nothing and join her mate in the next life.

Quinn with now a crying baby in her arms, sniffed back the tears and checked the womans pulse to which she couldn't find any. Looking up to her husband who watched stunned in shock and she shook her head. Eric sighed in sadness to the events that just happened this evening. Pity was what he could feel for them but in the end of it they got their wish. A baby girl

A baby girl that would be called Wang Y/n.
